He's been scouting for a new platform for some time, that's why he uploaded a video exclusively to X, why would he do that if he was satisfied with UA-cam

Great video and insight. A lot of you tubers complaining about the constant changing of the rules. It must be stressful but keep going since you already put in so much hard work. What exactly is the 4,000 watch hours thing in order to receive your superchat money? that means X number of people have to watch collectively a total or 4,000 hours of your video content per month?

    • @CrazyBulgarian

So you have to have 4000 watch hours yearly, so if you watch 5 minutes from a video and another person watches 5 from a video, that gives you 10 minutes watch time, if 10 people watch 5 minutes each from different videos or the same video, doesn't matter you have 50 minutes, you have to have 4000 hours of that, from videos that are public and not deleted

@@CrazyBulgarian Oh that is maybe not too bad over a whole year but still not easy. How do you beat that? You have to leave everything you stream up and not delete? Or just post more videos/content. I will be sure when I watch your steams to stay in them and not leave even if I step away I will let it run its entire course. I think so many viewers don't know all of UA-cams rules and stipulations!! TY and Best 🤩

no, you are wrong, the people just want a change of pace after grinding for 10 years with no breaks
most people change jobs several times in the same period
and even careers alot of times
so doing the same thing for this long is rather uncommon

I don't think it's comparable to compare someone big like pewdiepie, KSI or MrBeast with small timers on 100k and below. Most people with half a brain knows that you either have luck with the algorithm and can maintain the audience to earn money, or you just upload as a sidehustle. Why these giants like Pewdiepie, Matpat and Tom Scott quit youtube, is because they are rich lmao.
If you make it and win the algorithm lottery, UA-cam is one of the best Jobs you can have, not even the slightest bit fair to say that UA-cam sucks when you have an audience, a Doctor, engineer or CEO, would easily switch chairs with someone above 5 mil subscribers.
The real reason they quit is because they have earned enough to create passive income and the whole idea of working becomes less attractive when you already have enough to retire. They have the option to throw in the towel as soon as it gets tough. To say UA-cam sucks, isn't fair when any other Job would cause you balding out of stress.
Small UA-camrs however are in completely different situations and it's not even comparable in the slightest with the mansion living megastars. Those in the 1mil-100k range probably have it the worst, because they probably have enough views to live off of it, however some off them completely drop everything else they have in life and focus on youtube 100%.
Those miserable idiots have it the worst, because the viewer and audience retention can maybe last for 3-5 years. And then this semi-good salary they made off on youtube will start to dwindle and they will stress the fuck out when they realise playing COD as a fulltime Job isn't viable until they are 60. Now they are out of the Job-market and no one needs an experienced Gamer to their company.
Anyone below 100k is just delusional if they think they can do youtube fulltime, it's not even given that they will grow after 10+ years of grinding.

Thanks for the really good points, i agree with some of it, especially regarding the smaller youtuber, most people have no idea how many views you have to have to be able to live of UA-cam, and how fast algorithm changes will affect your channel, and yes these algorithms matter less when your bigger. It is becoming a regular occurrence to see people in the 100k-1 mill sub range to have less than 2-3k views on new videos, except in rare cases when they are able to "hit the algorithm again"
However rich people don't just stop working because they earned enough, there is no "enough", your habits become more expensive and your dreams become much bigger. Mr Beast is testing uploading videos exclusively to X lately and you have to ask yourself what the reasons behind that could be. He's not quitting, he just wants to change the platform for undisclosed reasons.

Mr beast is bigger than youtube. UA-cam is just the platform people can watch it on the easiest. To him it does not matter if its youtube or X. He has other people gaming and worrying about the system constant. Does not mean he is not up to date but he is certainly not dependant on it like you and almost all other youtubers are.
