Fire Emblem: Thracia 776 (ファイアーエムブレム　トラキア776) is the 5th game of the Fire Emblem series, which only saw a release in Japan originally. It takes place during the events of Fire Emblem: Genealogy of the Holy War, where Leif attempts to re-take Manster and free northern Thracia.
The game features a ranking system, based on the total turn count throughout the playthrough and how many of the 47 units are still alive at the end of the playthrough. lapogne36 ( tasvideos.org/... ) attains the best possible rank (SSS Rank), where all units are still alive, in record time.
This TAS was done in a new game+ setting, where the movement of the units is increased.

Pro Tip: every time after a level up you see a textbook appear with a bunch of characters, that is a level up to the Movement Stat, which means that afterwards the character can travel 1 extra tile per action. Normally this only occurs 1% of the time but this is a TAS!

Actually for Leif it's a 3% mov growth, but yeah

Everyone has a personal growth rate for Movement. Some people like Saphy have 0%.
Tina has a whopping 5%!

you found as okayish rom of the game? i have been searching for it for so long in english but most of the time the roms are incomplete and/or have a major bug for no reason, such as one that i found that the first 3 Lvs of any character that i tested they didn't get stats.

Glad this got accepted. Lots of crazy moments throughout the run. The Raydrik strategy with Galzus is so hilariously unlikely but awesome to watch.

Even from this optimized TAS, I can see why this entry gets such an imposing reputation. I don't know how much of it is a NG+ thing, but it really seems like you're just thrown into the deep end immediately!

Yes, the only thing NG+ refers to is that you can increase how fast the units move around the map after having completed the game before
