Say what you like about DBZ filler, Goku and Piccolo learning to drive was comedy gold. Like I'd watch a whole show of the DBZ cast trying to live normal lives
I agree, "ooh man Piccolo where'd you get those clothes!!" and we see Piccolo looking like the Fresh Prince of Bell Air at a street corner is still one of the funniest scenes ever for me. Hysterical
I mean most DBZ fillers are usefull for the story or funny. The funny ones are honestly a breath of fresh air, especially in the more "serious" sagas(like the filler parts in the episodes with Goku and Vegeta inside Buu's body). The only fillers I generally dislike are the ones that create entire sagas, those are kind of annoying.
Raffi Kadian I actually liked the two filler episodes between Future Trunks leaving and the Androids arriving. Goku and Piccolo learning how to was indeed comedy gold, it actually fits in with the comedy tone that Toriyama goes for. The other one gave actually development to lead up to Bulma and Vegeta getting together, Bulma showing concern over him being injured and Vegeta confused about her sleeping by his bed when he was recovering. Unlike Super that had many great moments between my favorite couple, we had to take what we could get when it came to them together in Dragonball Z. Also I had to laugh when Yamaha thought that he could deal with the same training regiment as Vegeta when Vegeta was having a had time with it at first.
Well, Goku vs majin Vegeta was 'almost' entirely filler. The manga barely gave it any attention. So, yeah, there is definitely good filler to be had. Same kind of thing with Naruto vs Sasuke in part 1. The added scenes in their fight made it much more entertaining.
#2 for me, hyping up "Mystic" Gohan for about 4 episodes only for him to be useful for 10 minutes before getting absorbed oh and dropping the Potara earring like a lemon, good job.
Raditz not being given any sort of development other than “I’m here to tell you the Saiyans exist” while being Goku’s literal brother and dying after only three episodes and still not being brought back in Super for something is top tier *sadness*
My #1 is Vegeta killing Nappa. First time through it's like, okay, he's a psychopathic villain, of course he'd kill you for failing. But then when you get to know Vegeta later, and how he views being one of the last Saiyans, it just makes no sense. You'd think he'd just tell Nappa to stay down while he goes and fights...
Not to mention saiyan biology. Nappa would have gotten a significant power boost if he had survived, making vegeta's underling more powerful, and therefore more useful.
Pretty sure it's implied that Goku breaks Nappa's spine, so at the very least, everything below his waist is useless, so even if he did get a power boost, he's not much good to anyone if he can't use his legs.
Please tell me you are joking. Goku was far more broken after his fight with vegeta than nappa was after fighting Goku. Broken spine is very easily fixed in the dragon ball Z universe.
kingofbudokai by Senzu beans yes, but maybe not by healing chambers. And maybe the reason why vegeta did it it's also because of the way he thinks about saiyans, maybe he thought that if a saiyan can't fight then he wouldn't have a reason to live.
Vegeta considered Nappa dead weight and believed he'd dishonored the Sayians. That was the same reason why he didn't want to use the Dragon Ball to revive Raditz, despite Raditz being a Sayian as well.
#3 on this list is one of the main reasons my cut off episode when I'm marathoning DBZ is He's Always Late. I knew it was filler but it was just nice to have a fun party with all the characters together one last time having a good time haha
+KidSnivy96 because toriyama thinks the best way to show goku's "poison" element is by making him an awful family man. PS: i didn't know you watch masako too, neat.
Regarding Masako X - I got curious, saw a few videos, been a fan ever since Regarding "poison" element - Thus continues my love/hate relation to Toriyama's writing style
+KidSnivy96 yea toriyama has a lot of great ideas that i love like fusion's, transformations, kaioken, gravity training, ki in general, time travel not being a headache (for the most part). but then there's shit like being able to get stronger and die in the afterlife, chi-chi going from a cool warrior princess to a nagging house-wife (did she suddenly forget goku like's training and sparring with strong people?), ssj3 and fusion dance being things goku got in the otherworld, goku being an unlikable family man that always leaves, goku learning instant transmission when he can learn the "kai-kai" technique from kami (that's the teleportation that kibito uses), goku giving cell a senzu bean (he could've at least split it into two and save one for gohan), piccolo being more of a babysitter than a relevant Z-fighter, raditz being wasted, and just so, so much more that i didn't list. EDIT: this might be because toriyama likes to subvert conventional thinking, and sometimes it's great like with freeza, gohans unlocked potential, ect, but then there's instance's where it's like he's trying too hard and looks for contrived ways to achieve these unorthodox idea's like making goku a terrible family man because we expect a guy who has a family to, y'know? DEVELOP!!
People really like to forget that Cell was using only like half his full power. If cell remained slightly tired / injured, he could have just went full power and destroy Gohan with ease.
Goku suffers from the Homer Simpson effect; he basically gets more stupid as the series goes on. He brutally murdered the crap out of King Piccolo and a few of his minions as a teenager. Then he was willing to sacrifice his life to kill his own psychotic, murderous brother. Then... he spares Vegeta, an even more sadistic, heartless mofo than his brother was, because he wants to... fight him again later? And then Freeza... destroyer of worlds... he thinks isn't gonna go off and conquer and ruin more lives? Okay Goku. You might be brain dama-oh wait.
But letting Vegeta live turned out to be one of the greatest, IF NOT the greatest decision in all of DBZ easily. Vegeta not surviving into the Namek and Android saga, would have spelled doom for everyone. It was by far the right choice to make even if the choice itself was a bit flawed in the moment.

To be fair in the Simpsons Homer periodically is revealed to be a genius or adept at certain things but has psychological blocks preventing him from making good use of it.
Goku didn't have to abandon his family to train uub? He could have still used instant transmission to visit his family and also train Pan in his free time. Goku is an asshole.
Smilin' Intellectual first of all gt is a side story and not canon to the main series. Secondly goku doesn't understand responsibility so you can't blame him.
Smilin' Intellectual Yeah, that would have been better if Goku just offered Uub and his family a home near them. Have Mr. Satan make a donation to the village, start up a charity for them, etc. To someone like goku where the world is small enough you can circle it before someone finishes blinking, that's no excuse.
Goku giving Cell a Senzu Bean is a moment I hate. He should have just let Gohan face a weakened Cell. The fate of the world is at stake. Fair fights don't matter.
Given how quickly Cell took the Senzu beans later in the fight, I wonder why no one thought to just have him steal the beans earlier and heal himself then
So, having grown up with Dragon Ball and DBZ prior to toonami, I must say that I will always prefer DBZ Kai over the original version of Z. That being said, Kai does have two drawbacks that I miss. Firstly, in the original Z, I absolutely loved the filler of the Sayain arc. Gohan got a lot of character development in his encounters with a wounded dinosaur and robot. You got to see a glimpse of Vegeta and Nappa's viciousness when they stopped at the planet, Arlia. Goku's journey on Snake Way was perilous with Princess Snake and the time he fell into Hell. The filler made it feel like a solid year took place, whereas in Kai it just comes too fast. The second grievance for me is the absence of the Garlic Jr arc. While I don't think the arc in itself was all that great, it does provide something I adore: a story arc where the heroes must rely on themselves without Goku.
Everyone fucked up in the cell saga. Vegeta let Cell absorb 18. Goku gave Cell a senzu bean. Piccolo basically teached Cell how to heal. Krillin didnt blow up 18. Bulma removed the bomb.
Regarding the Yamcha thing, it did take me off guard to see Yamcha back in his prime. DBZ wasn't exactly consistent with the power scaling once you bring up filler. DBS doesn't have the filler excuse though. However, Yamcha was NOT weaker than the Saibaman. The fight went fully in Yamcha's favour until the last moment when Yamcha..... LET HIS GUARD DOWN!! A self destruction is when you unleash so much Ki that your body can't survive. It's where the Saibaman released a lot more Ki than he could do normally. Chao-Zu and Vegeta did the same. When Vegeta fought Buu, he realized that he couldn't destroy him like this and decided to sacrifice himself and unleash an explosion so powerful that he himself couldn't survive. The Saibaman did the same thing to Yamcha. Because Yamcha was just too powerful to beat in a fight the Saibaman went kamekaze on him in a moment of cockyness. Yamcha is in fact pretty strong.
For me the worst moments are when my favourite character (Vegeta) gets his shine only to be destroyed a few min later or Goku jumping in taking the kill like always
It's literally the worst thing ever. Vegeta always gets the worf effect onto him. Remember it's The Goku show! *ughh* Goku always getting the win gets so old. I liked how Goku actually had Gohan step up for Cell before but now that never happens anymore.
I'm not quite sure why the Garlic Jr. saga is held is such low regard. Sure it wasn't in the original manga and it's nowhere near as good as what came before and after it, but it's a perfectly serviceable little story arc and it's genuinely tense to see the Z-Fighters dealing the a threat when they can't rely on Goku showing up at the last minute. For kid me, it was a breath of fresh air to see Piccolo, Gohan and Krillin have to save the day.
I enjoyed the Garlic Jr. saga; I found it fun to watch, and really enjoyed rewatching it, and your point about seeing the Z-Fighters having to cope completely without Goku is a good one. The only thing close to being a problem is that it's harder to explain to some people why the movies are of a separate canon to the show (not that I have really had to do so) - Garlic Junior's movie both doesn't fit into the show because of the inconsistencies, and does fit in to the show because... well, this saga is a sequel to it, isn't it?
I agree. Taking the two strongest character out of the picture (Goku and Vegeta) made for an interesting story that gave shine to Krillin, Piccolo, and Gohan.
MJN SEIFER I never considered the movies being canon since they are not in the show and I knew about fillers though I didn’t know what they were called then.
I really enjoyed it as well. The only issue I had was that the spice boys and Garlic jr could stand toe to toe with piccolo who at the time was at least as strong as 2nd form Frieza. Frieza was meant to be the strongest in the universe at the time minus ssj Goku.
My number 1 worst moment for DBZ was Goku letting himself get killed by Cell and not wanting to be revived when he still could play that card. 1, his death could have been avoided, given how fast he could go by that time, 2, his logic behind not wanting to be revived was bullshit and 3, because of that of the fact he basically abandoned his son and pregnant wife for what became seven years, it made me lose respect for Goku as a person, regardless of him being an alien, made even worse by the fact that in the seven years before he calls them to say he's coming to the tournament, he didn't bother to checkup on his family when he has the best means of communication with King Kai. I mean, WTF?
+KTChamberlain worse of all is that goku staying in the other world achieved NOTHING, the dbs manga proved that ssj2 can be mastered and become as strong or stronger than ssj3 without stamina loss, and the potara earrings last longer than the fusion dance, and even if mastered ssj2 didn't exist, it wasn't ssj3 goku that killed buu, it was a freaking spirit bomb, also the idea that goku can become stronger in the otherworld and can be revived for 24 hours, not only cheapens the already cheap concept of death in dbz but it also causes a plot-hole if you take future-trunks' timeline into consideration (though this was a problem since king kai's introduction, or at least his other world planet), this is why i love masakox's "what-if goku went ssj as a kid" it take's the genuinely good stories of dbz and remove's the bullshit (even if i was disappointed in the fifth part). and goku staying on yardrat was also unnecessary, because kami is able to teleport like kibito (it's how he got goku from king yemma's check-in station in the saiyan saga and he used it in the dead-zone movie) and unlike instant transmission, it doesn't need the user to concentrate and it doesn't need the user to touch or be touched when teleporting other things, and (though this maybe false) it doesn't need a ki signature to lock onto. like, i know toriyama wanted goku to have an element of "poison", but seriously there's a ton of better ways he could've done this than making goku an unlikable family man.
KTChamberlain you're right it's definitely perhaps the biggest WTF moment another one would be super Saiyan 3 Goku not killing buu when he had the chance because he thought gotanks could do it
KTChamberlain I dont really think the namekian dragon balls came to toriyama's mind,as if he forgit about it,because no one actually thought of that, not only goku, and how will they go to namek?if I remember correctly, the only way they went there was by Kami's spaceship, which got blown up in freeza saga I guess there is other ways, but I just think it's better if someone died and never came back, because it's more realistic and have consequences,in fact,I don't think he should have been revived in buu saga, because it make death has no consequences again...
The worst moment for my was when gohan finally comes back as a boss and fights super buu. My favorite character finally came back and a few minutes later his gone. 😠
I WOULD have liked him had be not shot Bee. I LOVE irredeemably awful villains. I LOVE when villains are absolute shitbags. But shooting a dog is going too far.
Yamcha was stronger then the Sibamem(not sure if I spelled that right) The only reason he died was because the little shit got a hold of him, just like how dr Gero got a hold of piccolo >:(
Sonic The hedgehog ikr! It's sad to see people taking the piss out of a guy who lost to a sneak attack, because he let his.... holy crap goku is doing a yamcha! He's doing so much yamcha!
YES! 16 was my favourite character as a kid. And in a universe where everyone gets revived and death is never permanent, they couldn't rebuild / ask the dragon to rebuild 16???
16 was cool and actually a really interesting character, considering that he had a "change of heart" while being the only real android in the android saga. I don't know why nobody thought of rebuilding eviving him, at least 18 or 17 could have tried something.
Tyde 13 I can understand the reason why he died, but I wish that he could have also been brought back to life. But it is more of it just made me sad over angry.
These aren't worst moments, but general gripes (in no order)... 1. Gohan not continually training after Cell 2. The inconsequential power-ups of the Buu saga (Gotenks, Gohan) then falling back to Goku saving the day. 3. Goku not coming back to life after Cell. His logic is flawed and he abandoned his preteen son and pregnant wife. 4. King Kai and crew not being revived by wish to revive those killed by Cell. Even though Elder Kai got revived by the wish to revive those killed by Buu...and Buu didn't even kill him! 5. Multiple forms of fusion in a single arc. 6. Future Gohan never achieving nearly as powerful levels as Preteen Gohan (despite the additional years of training and presumably zenkai boosts from battle). 7 & 8. Goku giving Cell a senzu, but not taking one for himself. 9. Humans becoming background characters to all the Saiyans. 10. ChiChi's change from her Dragon Ball Character
One of my worst DBZ moments was the extended beating Videl got at the hands of Spopovitch and also the goofing around of Gotenks 3 against super Buu, very annoying indeed
Speaking of the Buu Saga, one of the parts that got me riled up was the scenes where Goten and Trunks become Super Saiyans . When first hearing the legend of the Super Saiyan and how he/she appears once every 1.000 years was awesome, the entire Frieza Saga for me was building up that moment when Goku and Frieza finally face off and Goku achieves Super Saiyan, a form that was believed to be no more than a legend but it was there, then Goten and Trunks transform like it was as Vegeta say "A child's plaything". For me it felt like the Super Saiyan form has lost it's backbone after that scene.
The naming thing between Maron and Marron both is and is not a coincidence. Krillian's name is based on the Japanese word for chestnuts. Toriyama, being one for naming patterns, decided to give his daughter in the Buu saga a similar name, Marron, the French word for chestnuts. Unfortunatly, Katsuyuki Sumisawa, one of the writers for the show, had a similar idea for the name of another character close to Krillin, Maron. Toriyama more than likely had no idea about the character and if he did, there was a three year gap between the airing of the Garlic Jr. arc and the release of the Buu manga arc, so he would have forgotten (If he didn't remeber Launch, how would he remember Maron). So Marron (Krillian's daughter) wasn't named after Maron (Ex GF), they were just both named after the same food pun. Like someone named Juan and someone named John, both are named after the biblical figure John.
Actually now that I think about it, I'm surprised this has only happened the one time, considering Toriyama's love of naming puns and his history of forgetting characters. It's a miriacle that there hasn't been a character named "Raddiss."
We may not have two Raddish-named-characters but we still have two "Trunks" (one mentioned in the 21th World Tournament Arc in the OG Dragon Ball and the son of Bulma and Vegeta who first appeared on DBZ).
why wasn't supreme kai letting gohan have his energy drained on the list? that was a stupid plot seeing like not an episode later it turns out that the supreme kai can read minds why didnt he just grab spopovich and read his mind? problem solved! LOL
omg thank you! that plot made absolutely no sense at all! that and the fact that the “Supreme Kais” were totally worthless for that entire saga god I hate the Buu saga...
Goku giving Freeza his energy makes sense when you considered that, up to Freeza, ALL of the martial artist Dragon Ball villains that he fought, have changed to his side. He hasn't met anyone yet that subverted that until Namek. So he expected Freeza not only to return to fight him again, but also be a "good guy", like Tien and Piccolo and so on.
Also, Freeza just killed his best friend, which made him so angry and heartbroken to step into the legend, not shits and giggles, he shouldn't have given up the fight even once, and he did it twice in quick succession
Well that event did come full circle in Super when Goku was down and out, then Frieza showed up to repay that favor from Namek. However Goku did it out of the want to fight him again while Frieza did it cause he wanted to learn more about Ultra Instinct and the need to have Goku able to fight cause Jiren is still a thing.
That wasn't bad or out of character. Goku knows gohan is the strongest in the universe. it wouldn't be fair for cell to fight him fatigued. Goku was fully confident that gohan would win. He didn't take in account that gohan doesn't like to fight.
Not sure, but I seem to remember that during the Cell Games there's the worst occurrence of that - Cell starts charging his Kamehameha at the end of one episode, keeps charging the entire next episode as we basically go in a flashback about his origin and the way things ended up this way, and then unleashes it next episode (and I don't even remember if that's the last of it, since that's the final clash with Gohan).
It's from the Spirit Bomb Goku used on Freeza in the Namek saga. It *literally* took an episode and a half for him to charge it up and almost a whole episode to throw it.
SUPERVEGITO554 Yeah, it is kind of a stupid filler. But at least it gave Bulma something to do besides sit on her hands and do absolutely nothing for the entire Freeza arc.
Take care? You mean hold onto one for half a second? Ironically, given more time, her Dad could've made them a ship that drives itself, and gotten Goku to go with them. Bulma was amazingly useless.
I hate whenever they made the previous big-bad appear like a weakling, solely to get over the threat of the current big-bad. It kinda makes a really engaging and epic moment appear not-so-epic; I hate when a story feels the need to bury (in the pro wrestling sense) its own lore and characters to make new stuff appear even more important And much hate for fake Namek. Im all for an episode that builds on the dbz universe, but this felt like such a waste of time
My personal worst moment in dragon ball Z When frieza was brought back and killed just as quick as he appeared. Frieza was the first character to cement the fact that the Z fighters were only scratching the surface of strength, when frieza was defeated we all felt like we defeated him too, all the hours of fighting we were there for. when he was brought back, he didnt have the weight or threat as he did in the Namek/ Frieza saga, and as soon as he arrived on earth he was killed in an anticlimactic ending. The only reason he was brought back with a shitty cyborg design was to introduce Trunks
Definitely. It undoes the entire Namek Arc. They could have had just another relative or super alien. Hell, they could have had Garlic Jr come up for Trunks to beat down. But it really cheapens the Namek arc.
It helps build up to the threat of the Androids. If they had Trunks show up and warn them about tje Androids it wouldn't be interesting at all. With Freeza, we know how strong he is and, therefore, we know how serious the threat is, specially when the sword that cut him in half breaks when 18 blocks it. The bad part of it is Cold. Why add a father for Freeza if he has no use in the story whatsoever? HE doesn't add anything to the plot nor connect us to the following arc. He could have been saved for a future arc or even a filler saga, it would be better than the Garlic Jr. saga
+2025 fahaddenseje you know, more than one person can make a video about something and I'd imagine that MasakoX would do something different than what Qaaman did, who isn't even called that anymore.
Sif 90 tbh I still hold ChiChi as the strongest non ki using fighter on earth. She was able to keep up with Goku for a bit in their fight in Dragonball and didn't miss a beat on her offense, even if Goku was just evading her. I don't think even Hercule would do that well.
Sif 90 Oh yeah that's true. I always considered him on the same level as the other Z fighters (as in, beyond Earthling) due to his feats back in Dragonball and his training with Kami.
When I saw the title, all I could think of was Super Buu. I honestly really liked Videl vs Spopovich. There was a lot of tension and it was a good lead-in for the show to get serious again.
It was also a reminder that these fights aren't just "for fun" for the characters. They are life or death battles and for the participants, well, they can be straight up horrified of the brutal vaporization that they are about to receive. I still feel bad for Pui Pui. That dude had no chance whatsoever and had to watch in complete helplessness as Vegeta killed him. Vegeta could have easily subdued him, but no, he grinned as he killed Pui Pui.
Buu regenerating after Vegeta sacrifice is the only thing that put some weight on it. That's what happens when you introduce Resurrection on your story.
Honestly, in Abridged, when Goku gave Perfect Cell a senzu bean actually kind of annoyed me... I've lived through so much shit that Abridged Goku has done but that was the moment I disliked? Weird...
Valen Warden Because it was annoying in the original. They can't change that without changing the scene entirely. I tolerate this scene in TFS' version because it isn't their fault, and they made it funny.
Look at the DBZA as a satire to DBZ; in a way they like to exaggerate flaws of a character and/or writing by a shit-ton in order to make it a point that it was stupid. Goku giving Cell a senzu bean was more or less inexcusable. Not only did he power up Cell, but basically cut down the chances of the Earth saved by a lot. Gohan eventually getting his SSJ2 powerup took at least one permanent casualty to happen. Imagine if that casualty weren't 16 but Goku, Piccolo, or someone else who (at the time) couldn't really get wished back? and even then, that moment doesn't guarantee Gohan powering up; Gohan could've not had the energy or concentration to achieve SSJ2. As much as I love the following events of that scene, lookign back on it Goku giving cell a senzu bean was both a nice opportunity for his son, but also an extremely shitty one from a practical standpoint (but goku has never been extremely practical)
While Videl getting beaten to near death was difficult to watch, what was more infuriating was when Gohan declared revenge on Spopavitch and then he gets blow up in the next couple of episodes by Babidei.
i also hated when ChiChi and Videl met and argued and the episode ended in them just sticking out their tongues at each other and blowing raspberries. They hold themselves to such a high standard but then argue like children. It got on my nerves.
Definitely the cringiest moment in the whole show to me because they just repeated the same animation & same noise at each other like 10 times in a row. What's that moment even supposed to convey to the audience? Is it supposed to be an argument? Have the people in charge of the show ever seen an argument?
I know my prev comment wss referring to Super and the movie but for Z for me is when they amped up Gohan to take out Buu and then nerfed him..they did him dirty lol
"Yamcha could barely keep up with a saibaman" really... 'sigh' ...poor yamcha people always neglect the fact that you beat that saibaman, if only you didnt let your guard down
He turned around after beating the Saibaman and just cockily challenged Vegeta and Nappa to a fight. He basically said "is this all you've got? Pathetic..." Remember, because of that explosion, that fight ended in a draw. Yamcha had won, but no one saw the self-destruction coming.
Krillin vs. 2nd Form Freeza. Krillin had him blind and defenseless and didn't kill him with the Kienzan. Unlike with Perfect Cell, it's obvious that it could've easily cut off Freeza's head.
Same here. While I don't particularly like the arc as much as the canon ones, it did give some other characters time to shine. And the villian was actually immortal. The only real problem with this arc is just it's place in the continuity. But I can look past that.
Melon Lord I feel like they could've used Tien and Yamacha in that arc, actually use them in a fight in an arc without super sayains but they were tossed aside
When it comes to number 10... If you have a problem with 1 dog dying, you should watch JoJo's Bizzare Adventure... They NEVER kill dogs in gruesome ways...
The most... Uncomfortable... Scene for me was when cell spat up 18... Not exactly something you want to pause on so you don't miss anything when your parents walk in...
I'm glad you put Launch on the list, because that's definitely one for me, too. Launch was a fun character, and I think she could have added a lot to the show in the Z era, especially considering how her main gimmick was pretty similar to her going Super Saiyan. THAT would have been an interesting thing to explore. Just a few other ones off the top of my head, in no particular order: * Raditz dying and then never coming back * Freeza completely no-selling the Spirit Bomb after all the time they'd spent building it up And jumping back to the pre-Z days: * Korin being like "Oh yeah, I guess I DO have magic make-you-stronger water, I just forgot to mention it last time you were here looking for it" * That girl in one of the tournaments who's fighting style was crying * Goku being so pure-of-heart or whatever that he's immune to the Devilmite Beam * Goku killing King Piccolo, which was CLEARLY Tien's fight * Goku beating up the entire Red Ribbon Army by himself, robbing the other heroes of any chance to contribute whatsoever (I mean, I get that that was the joke, but still)
Protecting the crotch spawn of his former enemy because he just stands there like a slack jawed idiot as the death beam gets shot at him is not necessarily badass. It's just pity. I still salute you Mr. Piccolo.
I think it’s actually important to have discussions like this because it helps ground us. It reminds us that as awesome as something can be, it will never be perfect and expecting it to be is only setting yourself up for disappointment. That said, being able to discuss DBZ warts and all includes the ‘and all’ part. There’s a lot to like, and it’s important to remember that as well. Balance is key, and that’s something a lot of people have trouble remembering lately. That said, this was a good list and another enjoyable video in your catalog. You’ve been doing a great job raising interesting discussion topics in these videos, and it’s always fun to think about where these ideas can go.
DBZ THEMED WOULD YOU RATHER!? WOULD YOU RATHER... *Have to wear Piccolo's Namek shoes for the rest of your life. Or *Have to wear Goku's Yardrat armour for the rest of your life.
twist109 I always saw Gohan to be the type of character that fights for the greater good not for fun like Goku, it's kind of a waste of potential. Gohan's the complete opposite of what Goku is, he's gentle, considerate and more of a heroic moral sense than Goku does. At least that's how I see him.
The shooting of B was absolutely infuriating, but it also gave us an incredible one-two. Mr. Satan/Hercule ACTUALLY does something and delivers a flying face kick to the gunman asshole and then Skinny Buu becomes everyone's favorite character for 5 seconds by horrifically, grotesquely murdering the two pricks.
Yeah, I agree with this entire list. But in my opinion, Goku giving Cell a Sensu Bean was more aggravating than him giving Frieza some of his energy. But my #1 worst moment is when Cell wasn't completely destroyed. I remember watching that part when I was watching DBZ Kai on Toonami one night, and when Cell ended up not being dead, I was so fucking pissed. (I have no idea if that's a popular opinion, but knowing the fandom, it probably is... :T)
Olibu started a weird and stupid rumor in my school! "Olibu is the soul of Number 16 before he was rebuilt in the shape of Android!" Yeah, nope. But a lot of people believed it!
My least favorite moment in DBZ is when Goku's un-saiyan like nature in the beginning of the saiyan saga was explain by him hitting his head on a rock as a baby. That would have been a good story of how even a saiyan could have been raised to be relatively good natured, but nope his story is brain trauma... come to think of it most of Goku's story is brain trauma.
roshi being a perv was fine until he did it to chi chi in the garlic jr. arc and post cell arc..thats gross..shes married to his student..smdh...shes also the opposite of that kind of outgoing sex symbol fanservice type unreserved intraditional girl so it just is extra gross when he did it to her..and he knew her since she was 12..like wtf?...shes even less welcome to that behavior than the slutty bulma or hot head 18 are....its like stripping her of her innocence in a way..
i hated how during the cell games, they had that news guy who wouldn't stfu, and i hated how krillin didn't kill 18 after bulma spent so much time creating the remote. also, every scene involving gotenks is just ughh
jaeden sm 100% agree with u man! Gotenks, even when i was a teen. Pissed me off. His voice , attitude is urghhh. Krillin smashing the remote destroyed my soul. Still does lol
i can just imagine all this in your gohan voice. also. i like the ultimate fate of launch you gave her in the raditz what-if: married to him. i kinda ship raditz with launch.
“There is no possible way he could make this worse!” “Aside from blowing up the planet.” “FIIIIIINAAAAAAAAAL!!!!” “OH MY GOD HE’S GOING TO BLOW UP THE PLANET!” “But I live here!” “FLAAAAAAAAAAAASSSHH!!!” “Well looks like he missed the planet.”
I dunno, the moment that always left the worst taste in my mouth was Vegeta's great big redemption, his final sacrifice after completing his arc, growing to love his family to the point where he'd give his life for them in one final attack, amounts to ABSOLUTELY NOTHING.
Supposedly Araki loves dogs, so showing a villain killing one is for him the ultimate way to say "THIS GUY IS SHIT". Also I just realised how much Broly looks like a Pillar Man.
Great list, thanks! The whole Marron thing irritates me since then :) What a shitty decision to name a baby after her. The number one is in case one of the moments I will remember because of the shocking violence.
O
#2 for me, hyping up "Mystic" Gohan for about 4 episodes only for him to be useful for 10 minutes before getting absorbed oh and dropping the Potara earring like a lemon, good job.
The funny thing is that the guy who shoot Boo's dog was portrayed so much more evil than Boo that I actually started rooting for Boo to kill him.
RubinNischara I think that was the point.
RubinNischara buu
I agree
Thecommander248 THAT WAS THE POINT!!!
RubinNischara me too even I was supporting for buu
That was the same reason why he didn't want to use the Dragon Ball to revive Raditz, despite Raditz being a Sayian as well.
doesn't get worse than when the orange hillbilly who beats his wife gave a senzu bean to Mr Perfect Cell
Mr Popo What about the time Goku and Gohan were in the Hypersonic Lion Tamer.
Richie Sahlin you mean the Hydroponic Prion Scammer?
Hyperglycemic Crime Chamber
Mr Popo if goku wouldn't have given cell a senzu then cell would've just finished off Gohan instead of giving him somewhat of a chance
Dan T what a coincidence. I just installed the dark theme cause I was fed up of edge and came to chrome.
#3 on this list is one of the main reasons my cut off episode when I'm marathoning DBZ is He's Always Late. I knew it was filler but it was just nice to have a fun party with all the characters together one last time having a good time haha
JaxBlade wow jax you go around
Why couldn't he train Pan & Uub?
+KidSnivy96
because toriyama thinks the best way to show goku's "poison" element is by making him an awful family man.
PS: i didn't know you watch masako too, neat.
Regarding Masako X - I got curious, saw a few videos, been a fan ever since
Regarding "poison" element - Thus continues my love/hate relation to Toriyama's writing style
+KidSnivy96
yea toriyama has a lot of great ideas that i love like fusion's, transformations, kaioken, gravity training, ki in general, time travel not being a headache (for the most part).
but then there's shit like being able to get stronger and die in the afterlife, chi-chi going from a cool warrior princess to a nagging house-wife (did she suddenly forget goku like's training and sparring with strong people?), ssj3 and fusion dance being things goku got in the otherworld, goku being an unlikable family man that always leaves, goku learning instant transmission when he can learn the "kai-kai" technique from kami (that's the teleportation that kibito uses), goku giving cell a senzu bean (he could've at least split it into two and save one for gohan), piccolo being more of a babysitter than a relevant Z-fighter, raditz being wasted, and just so, so much more that i didn't list.
DEVELOP!!
Goku giving cell a Senzu not on the list?
jayden menendez
Omg I forgot about that at least the frieza energy was only a tiny bit of energy while a seizure bean is potentially unlimited.
Thank you! I was hoping someone would mention this.
suck it kale you bushleague superfood
People really like to forget that Cell was using only like half his full power.
If cell remained slightly tired / injured, he could have just went full power and destroy Gohan with ease.
"Thank you so much for keeping Broly out of canon!"
One year later...
Say what you will about the dub, but mercy is a more believable reason to let your enemies live than to fulfill your fight boner.
Yeah...but satisfying his fight boner is the reason he let Vegeta and Freeza live.

According to GT, Goku did exactly that (GT isn't canon, bear that in mind). That might be retconned in Super.
Curse you Saiyan genetics!!
supersbbrawl4ever where was it stated that he did that? Just because GT isn't canon, doesn't mean he suddenly visited them
13:05, masoko: thank god we don't have broly in the main canon.
Me rn: hahahahahahahahahahahahha.....
So true
@@dragonhut2330 hey at least it was better and broly was cool
Vegeta: what’s so funny?
Piccolo: Your shirt

@@mephilisthedarkelijahramat182 I'm laughing at the 'not much of a dog person' part right now, actually. He has a dog now.
Goku giving Cell a Senzu Bean is a moment I hate. He should have just let Gohan face a weakened Cell. The fate of the world is at stake. Fair fights don't matter.
Given how quickly Cell took the Senzu beans later in the fight, I wonder why no one thought to just have him steal the beans earlier and heal himself then
Xehanort10 then you wouldve been stuck at ssj1 for that much longer
it's not the fate of the world is at stake :v it's his pride :v
Vegeta sama said so
Goku isn't the smartest either. But Goku is passionate about pushing boundaries even when the universe is at stake.
But Cell had post-Goku exhaustion
Sometimes I switch in between cause some of the filler during the Saiyan Saga was enjoyable but in Kai it’s at a breakneck pace for sure
MasokoX: Thank you Toei for keeping out Brolly out of the main cannon.
Toei and AT: hold our beer..
Everyone fucked up in the cell saga.
Vegeta let Cell absorb 18.
Goku gave Cell a senzu bean.
Piccolo basically teached Cell how to heal.
Krillin didnt blow up 18.
Bulma removed the bomb.
Cley FullAnime and Gohan didn't finish off cell before he exploded
Hells Bells Yeah
Mega Zoroark what do you mean
Mega Zoroark they didn't train
They removed the bomb from Android 16.
Now if only the world knew about the strength of our Lord and savior yamcha
PREACH!
Wolf Fang Cope
Yamacha's canon pl then was 1,410 compared to a saibaman's 1,200
thank you sir
For me the worst moments are when my favourite character (Vegeta) gets his shine only to be destroyed a few min later or Goku jumping in taking the kill like always
bet you hated the ending of Resurrection of F then :)
Agreed.
It's in his character.
It's literally the worst thing ever.
Vegeta always gets the worf effect onto him. Remember it's The Goku show! *ughh* Goku always getting the win gets so old.
I liked how Goku actually had Gohan step up for Cell before but now that never happens anymore.
It can be annoying, but it's expected. All shonen leads do that, with the exception of Naruto (since Kish loves Sasuke)
Peanut Live Lol!! Those ridiculous Power ups😂🤣
+KTChamberlain
worse of all is that goku staying in the other world achieved NOTHING, the dbs manga proved that ssj2 can be mastered and become as strong or stronger than ssj3 without stamina loss, and the potara earrings last longer than the fusion dance, and even if mastered ssj2 didn't exist, it wasn't ssj3 goku that killed buu, it was a freaking spirit bomb, also the idea that goku can become stronger in the otherworld and can be revived for 24 hours, not only cheapens the already cheap concept of death in dbz but it also causes a plot-hole if you take future-trunks' timeline into consideration (though this was a problem since king kai's introduction, or at least his other world planet), this is why i love masakox's "what-if goku went ssj as a kid" it take's the genuinely good stories of dbz and remove's the bullshit (even if i was disappointed in the fifth part).
and goku staying on yardrat was also unnecessary, because kami is able to teleport like kibito (it's how he got goku from king yemma's check-in station in the saiyan saga and he used it in the dead-zone movie) and unlike instant transmission, it doesn't need the user to concentrate and it doesn't need the user to touch or be touched when teleporting other things, and (though this maybe false) it doesn't need a ki signature to lock onto.
like, i know toriyama wanted goku to have an element of "poison", but seriously there's a ton of better ways he could've done this than making goku an unlikable family man.
KTChamberlain you're right it's definitely perhaps the biggest WTF moment another one would be super Saiyan 3 Goku not killing buu when he had the chance because he thought gotanks could do it
KTChamberlain I thought goku couldn't get revived because he was already revived once...
By Earth Dragon Balls, yes, but not Namekian Dragon Balls.
KTChamberlain I dont really think the namekian dragon balls came to toriyama's mind,as if he forgit about it,because no one actually thought of that, not only goku, and how will they go to namek?if I remember correctly, the only way they went there was by Kami's spaceship, which got blown up in freeza saga
I guess there is other ways, but I just think it's better if someone died and never came back, because it's more realistic and have consequences,in fact,I don't think he should have been revived in buu saga, because it make death has no consequences again...
The worst moment for my was when gohan finally comes back as a boss and fights super buu. My favorite character finally came back and a few minutes later his gone. 😠
Jamal Bruna he's like the original Vegetto Blue
Jamal Bruna you should be more pissed of on how ultimate gohan ruins Gohans character.
A random Dog How does Ultimate Gohan ruin his character? Explain please.
The guy who shot the dog B is the worst character in the entire series
Furiza Sama I hate the fact I remember his name, van zant seriously fuck that guy
I WOULD have liked him had be not shot Bee. I LOVE irredeemably awful villains. I LOVE when villains are absolute shitbags. But shooting a dog is going too far.
He is the rival of the farmer with a shotgun
TheCrookedKing nah he doesn't even compare to his level, he's stronger then the Omni king ya know
Famicon 64 he has legendary power indeed
Yamcha was stronger then the Sibamem(not sure if I spelled that right) The only reason he died was because the little shit got a hold of him, just like how dr Gero got a hold of piccolo >:(
Sonic The hedgehog and yamcha
Sonic The hedgehog ikr! It's sad to see people taking the piss out of a guy who lost to a sneak attack, because he let his.... holy crap goku is doing a yamcha! He's doing so much yamcha!
Chiaotzu did the exact same thing to Nappa and look how that turned out for him, Sadly Yamcha may have been stronger but it wasnt by much
Btw thanks for the likes
Sonic The hedgehog Yamcha still sucks.
I just really dislike the fact that 16 died
YES! 16 was my favourite character as a kid. And in a universe where everyone gets revived and death is never permanent, they couldn't rebuild / ask the dragon to rebuild 16???
16 was cool and actually a really interesting character, considering that he had a "change of heart" while being the only real android in the android saga. I don't know why nobody thought of rebuilding
eviving him, at least 18 or 17 could have tried something.
Tyde 13 I can understand the reason why he died, but I wish that he could have also been brought back to life. But it is more of it just made me sad over angry.
At least it led to one of the best ones
That was a really sad moment
"Thank you Toei for keeping Broly out of the main canon"

epicmursek PvPer see? You get it.
These aren't worst moments, but general gripes (in no order)...
1. Gohan not continually training after Cell
The whole thing with Launch made me so sad. She was one of my favourite characters in the original DB.
3:36 Top 10 starts here.
Helm-0 Nope, 3:41 is when he said "#10" which I think is the start of the list.
Meh, it's pretty much the same.
Lol. I was thinking this the whole time
I hate comments like this for channels like MasakoX. Skipping all of his build-up conversation is really shit.
Oh yeah, Ranfan's husband. Completely forgot about that.
Alejandro Villada The best part is, the first Trunks appeared in the manga as well.
Yoo Maron was hot af
why wasn't supreme kai letting gohan have his energy drained on the list? that was a stupid plot seeing like not an episode later it turns out that the supreme kai can read minds why didnt he just grab spopovich and read his mind? problem solved! LOL
Babidi's dark magic was concealing his mind. It's also why supreme kai couldn't find babidi's ship
omg thank you! that plot made absolutely no sense at all! that and the fact that the “Supreme Kais” were totally worthless for that entire saga
god I hate the Buu saga...
@@sellers737 it felt like Supreme Kai wanted buu to get resurrected..
That's pretty plausible.
GweiTheLeafChild King Piccolo? Mercenary Tao? Crane Hermit?
Also, Freeza just killed his best friend, which made him so angry and heartbroken to step into the legend, not shits and giggles, he shouldn't have given up the fight even once, and he did it twice in quick succession
Well that event did come full circle in Super when Goku was down and out, then Frieza showed up to repay that favor from Namek. However Goku did it out of the want to fight him again while Frieza did it cause he wanted to learn more about Ultra Instinct and the need to have Goku able to fight cause Jiren is still a thing.
"Thank you Toei, for keeping Broly out of the cannon"
Broly is in the new movie!!
What about Goku giving Perfect Cell a sensu bean?
All according to cake
That wasn't bad or out of character. Goku knows gohan is the strongest in the universe. it wouldn't be fair for cell to fight him fatigued. Goku was fully confident that gohan would win. He didn't take in account that gohan doesn't like to fight.
Can someone explain where the kamehaheha takes 20 episode to charge meme started
which is strange cause the Spirit Bomb felt like it took that long alot more.
Hagane no Gijutsushi thx i think understand now
It's from the Spirit Bomb Goku used on Freeza in the Namek saga. It *literally* took an episode and a half for him to charge it up and almost a whole episode to throw it.
MicManGuy Meanwhile in the manga from Goku raising his hands to form it to throwing it at Freeza was like 2 or 3 chapters at most =p
What about Ginyu switching bodies with Bulma? Even Kai left that garbage in.
SUPERVEGITO554 Yeah, it is kind of a stupid filler. But at least it gave Bulma something to do besides sit on her hands and do absolutely nothing for the entire Freeza arc.
brabbit330 ikr, tbh during the time frieza started attacking I forgot 200% about her(not sarcasm I really did forgot about her)
That's another issue right there. Bulma's only purpose in the Namek arc was to get in trouble and complain.
Josh Sinclair and take care of the dragon balls and drive the spaceship
It kinda makes a really engaging and epic moment appear not-so-epic; I hate when a story feels the need to bury (in the pro wrestling sense) its own lore and characters to make new stuff appear even more important
And much hate for fake Namek. Im all for an episode that builds on the dbz universe, but this felt like such a waste of time
My personal worst moment in dragon ball Z
When frieza was brought back and killed just as quick as he appeared.
Well, Goku crippled him pretty badly, so of course Trunks was going to own him.
Josh Sinclair cyborg frieza is stronger than normal frieza so it wasn’t obvious at first...
He could have been saved for a future arc or even a filler saga, it would be better than the Garlic Jr. saga
@Tareltonlives: Garlic Jr. doesn't exist. That would be like having Sonic canonically kill a character from a Deviant Art fanfiction.
Do a what if Future Gohan came to the past instead of trunks
thats a good one

Worst part is, Videl was probably the strongest girl in DBZ and the closest we would ever come to see a female character beating a bad guy.
A Person With a Name 18?
Sif 90 tbh I still hold ChiChi as the strongest non ki using fighter on earth. She was able to keep up with Goku for a bit in their fight in Dragonball and didn't miss a beat on her offense, even if Goku was just evading her. I don't think even Hercule would do that well.
Sif 90 Oh yeah that's true. I always considered him on the same level as the other Z fighters (as in, beyond Earthling) due to his feats back in Dragonball and his training with Kami.
Sif 90 For what he was though, he was pretty skilled with his sword, at least back in the original Dragon Ball.
Chi chi even now would one-shot videl
Video starts at 3:44
thx
When I saw the title, all I could think of was Super Buu.
I honestly really liked Videl vs Spopovich. There was a lot of tension and it was a good lead-in for the show to get serious again.
Yeah, that whole tournament was really nice and intense. Everything kind of flagged once Buu was released though.
Yeah it was actually an amazingly brutal fight that, to me, dragon ball needed at the time.
Buu regenerates after Vegetas sacrifice is the worst moment of all dbz
Buu regenerating after Vegeta sacrifice is the only thing that put some weight on it.
That's what happens when you introduce Resurrection on your story.
Honestly, in Abridged, when Goku gave Perfect Cell a senzu bean actually kind of annoyed me... I've lived through so much shit that Abridged Goku has done but that was the moment I disliked? Weird...
Valen Warden Same dude
Valen Warden He did that so Cell would have even more energy to release Gohan true potential.
I like how DBA just took the fact that Goku is an idiot and RAN with it.
Why is Masako's hair really fluffy? Did he try to go Super Saiyan and not tell us?
Amber Wendt, I was literally about to comment that he needs a cut. Glad to see I'm not the only one.
Amber Wendt He took a shower before going to bed,and some up with that XD
While Videl getting beaten to near death was difficult to watch, what was more infuriating was when Gohan declared revenge on Spopavitch and then he gets blow up in the next couple of episodes by Babidei.
11:18
Launch:My name is Launch!!! LOOK AT MY TRUCKER HAT
shes in the yo son goku and his friends return special by toriyama so its canon shes around...
what if universe 7 loses but gets brought back by another team how would this change goku's mind set
Oh, it ruffled your jammies, did it?
But my question is...
_did it rustle your jimmies?_
i also hated when ChiChi and Videl met and argued and the episode ended in them just sticking out their tongues at each other and blowing raspberries.
And then Chichi just begins to like Videl out of nowhere
I know my prev comment wss referring to Super and the movie but for Z for me is when they amped up Gohan to take out Buu and then nerfed him..they did him dirty lol
theDiViNE01 Mystic Gohan was much stronger than Super Buu/Buuhenks, he only lost because his arrogance let him be absorbed
"Yamcha could barely keep up with a saibaman" really... 'sigh' ...poor yamcha people always neglect the fact that you beat that saibaman, if only you didnt let your guard down
THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!! NOBODY remembers that he had it dead to rights! He didn't even take a hit!
Thank you im glad that there are still people who actually think yamcha is cool
Goku got bested by a laser in the Frieza movie.
I like the Garlic Jr. saga. There was NO GOKU and no SUPER SAIYANS. That's a win win. Also lots of Kami and Popo screen time.
Melon Lord but at that time we’ve only seen super saiyan once so it wasn’t over used by then
Lord PoPo
Melon Lord why even watching dB if you don’t want to see goku lmao
When it comes to number 10... If you have a problem with 1 dog dying, you should watch JoJo's Bizzare Adventure... They NEVER kill dogs in gruesome ways...
Matthew Popow really? Awesome!
HunterMishky 117 you do know it's just a joke
A Random person I failed to be sarcastic
HunterMishky 117 oh..sorry then
A Random person its okay.
Videl lost her personality and became a wall flower after that fight XD
Just a few other ones off the top of my head, in no particular order:
* Raditz dying and then never coming back
* Freeza completely no-selling the Spirit Bomb after all the time they'd spent building it up
And jumping back to the pre-Z days:
* Korin being like "Oh yeah, I guess I DO have magic make-you-stronger water, I just forgot to mention it last time you were here looking for it"
* That girl in one of the tournaments who's fighting style was crying
* Goku being so pure-of-heart or whatever that he's immune to the Devilmite Beam
* Goku killing King Piccolo, which was CLEARLY Tien's fight
* Goku beating up the entire Red Ribbon Army by himself, robbing the other heroes of any chance to contribute whatsoever (I mean, I get that that was the joke, but still)
WHAT UPP. The worst moment was when we found out I was only 3 minutes in the show :P
Vegito Blue In the Goku vs Freeza fight?
anil jacob No. Vegito's fusion during the Zamasu fight.
Vegito Blue yep
Vegito Blue yeah but you could've defeated zamasu and black tough
11. Every time I die...
Mr. Piccolo nah you always go out in a badass way
Protecting the crotch spawn of his former enemy because he just stands there like a slack jawed idiot as the death beam gets shot at him is not necessarily badass. It's just pity. I still salute you Mr. Piccolo.
Feeling a little Krillin up in here
Toei has a hard on for killing Piccolo, you can tell from both GT and Rof remake.
You're not Krillin.
gohan should have killed spopovich
"I want a good fight" is practically a plot device.
My mom wouldn't let me watch toonami after the videl spopovitch fight lol
McGrubs Well, blame America or U.K. (wherever you're from at that time) for getting their conceptions about anime all wrong.
anil jacob that's true I was only 8 when I saw that episode and my mom was one of the parents who didn't understand anime
.........
Usally I would say that's dumb
DBZ THEMED WOULD YOU RATHER!?
WOULD YOU RATHER...
*Have to wear Piccolo's Namek shoes for the rest of your life.
Or
*Have to wear Goku's Yardrat armour for the rest of your life.
PokéXYZ ! Yardrat because it might have some yardrat blood so I can learn instant transmission
PokéXYZ ! Yardrat armor.
PokéXYZ ! Yardrat
MysticPowerZ My man, you got real swag. Only real men would wear that.
Yardrat
Worst moment???
Gohan getting sidelined
Space Penguins which time?
But it's realistic..The guy has never fought for fun, only necessity.
twist109 I always saw Gohan to be the type of character that fights for the greater good not for fun like Goku, it's kind of a waste of potential. Gohan's the complete opposite of what Goku is, he's gentle, considerate and more of a heroic moral sense than Goku does.
At least that's how I see him.
it's just like TFS cell said
"HE SUCKS"
"But it's not inaccurate"
Yea but at least Super will give him some spotlight
4:16 anyone notice the color of his arm is different from his face?
The shooting of B was absolutely infuriating, but it also gave us an incredible one-two. Mr. Satan/Hercule ACTUALLY does something and delivers a flying face kick to the gunman asshole and then Skinny Buu becomes everyone's favorite character for 5 seconds by horrifically, grotesquely murdering the two pricks.
Masakox: Thank you Toei for keeping broly out the main cannon
Me (december 2018): yeah....about that.......
And Masako says, thank you Toei for keeping Broly out of the cannon.....and so Toei says to Masako, HAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHA.
The dog getting shot made me so furious that I almost punched a hole in my wall
BUT MASAKO!!!!
You hit 300k subs!!!😄😄😄
You know what you should do Masako you should change your computer background for each number for your top 10s.
Olibu started a weird and stupid rumor in my school!
"Olibu is the soul of Number 16 before he was rebuilt in the shape of Android!"
Yeah, nope. But a lot of people believed it!
And then there's the cheezeball line "I am Super Vegeta"
My least favorite moment in DBZ is when Goku's un-saiyan like nature in the beginning of the saiyan saga was explain by him hitting his head on a rock as a baby. That would have been a good story of how even a saiyan could have been raised to be relatively good natured, but nope his story is brain trauma... come to think of it most of Goku's story is brain trauma.
4:25 I liked when the guy who shot him got killed by evil buu
Worst moment: Roshi molesting anyone, especially when he did it to 18, in front of her daughter.
Fake Namek was also my introduction to the series.
Yeah basically any scene involving Roshi just... Yuck. -.-
*plebs cant handle roshi*
Imagine my shock
roshi being a perv was fine until he did it to chi chi in the garlic jr. arc and post cell arc..thats gross..shes married to his student..smdh...shes also the opposite of that kind of outgoing sex symbol fanservice type unreserved intraditional girl so it just is extra gross when he did it to her..and he knew her since she was 12..like wtf?...shes even less welcome to that behavior than the slutty bulma or hot head 18 are....its like stripping her of her innocence in a way..
i hated how during the cell games, they had that news guy who wouldn't stfu, and i hated how krillin didn't kill 18 after bulma spent so much time creating the remote. also, every scene involving gotenks is just ughh
jaeden sm 100% agree with u man! Gotenks, even when i was a teen. Pissed me off. His voice , attitude is urghhh. Krillin smashing the remote destroyed my soul. Still does lol
The worst moment in dragon ball history is the time you wait for a new episode
Imagine how that must have been for Japanese viewers. They didn't have the privilege of having it air weekdays like we did.
i can just imagine all this in your gohan voice.
also. i like the ultimate fate of launch you gave her in the raditz what-if: married to him.
i kinda ship raditz with launch.
You are my favourite guy from TFS, hands down! You are so cool and you don't swear,,,
Bonus!
The only thing I really hate is the majority of the Buu Saga, it really pisses me off.
Same
I like because Gohan was the main character for part of it, but I don't like the kid buu part.
“There is no possible way he could make this worse!”
“Aside from blowing up the planet.”
“FIIIIIINAAAAAAAAAL!!!!”
“OH MY GOD HE’S GOING TO BLOW UP THE PLANET!”
“But I live here!”
“FLAAAAAAAAAAAASSSHH!!!”
“Well looks like he missed the planet.”
I think videl getting beat up was supposed to be a trigger for gohan
Past Masako: Thank you for not making Broly canon.
Broly: I'm about to destroy this man's career.
I dunno, the moment that always left the worst taste in my mouth was Vegeta's great big redemption, his final sacrifice after completing his arc, growing to love his family to the point where he'd give his life for them in one final attack, amounts to ABSOLUTELY NOTHING.
Guess who's back.....
Back again.
Broly's back.....
Tell a friend!
Look at Trunks's face in the thumbnail.
Luckpup
He's seen some pretty messed up stuff, 'specially in his timeline...
Just saw #10. Masako, if you think that THAT was bad, watch Jojo's Bizarre Adventure. There's a lot of... love for dogs in that show.
Bites Za Dusto
I do not condone animal abuse. I will NOT watch jojos shit adventures.
Broly the real God and The Strongest Super Saiyan I can't tell if you're serious or not...
Supposedly Araki loves dogs, so showing a villain killing one is for him the ultimate way to say "THIS GUY IS SHIT".
Also I just realised how much Broly looks like a Pillar Man.
+Hagane Yup, Broly and Kars would have a hell of a flexing competition.
+Broly
Suit yourself, you're missing out on a great show.
pride: let him transform
vegeta: but. why?
pride: LET. HIM. TRANSFORM.
vegeta: but i don’t want to.
pride: *L E T* *H I M* *T R A N S F O R M*
Dude the tfs fake namek episode with the two aliens from Aqua Teen was easily one of my favorites! don't sell short how funny you made that!!
I actually like TFS fake Namek and it's reference to ATHF/Spacecataz
Kevin Kiker Me too!
Yamcha was decently strong before he started to lay back on training back at the ending of Z.
TheWoodenCut And Super implies that he' still training.
Which really makes it that much worse for his fans *coughcough* to see him get relentlessly shat upon by the writers when actual plot happens....
Launch is actually androids 13’s wife
She’s a trucker, it fits
WHERES MY TRUCKER HAT?
Great list, thanks! The whole Marron thing irritates me since then :) What a shitty decision to name a baby after her. The number one is in case one of the moments I will remember because of the shocking violence.
Really good list!
