I saw the flyrod in the boat and kept waiting to see a fish or two landed on it. Looked like a great time though.

Nice move on loosening the drag after they're clear of the sticks, lost a huge Everglades bass at the boat yesterday with too much drag and the small jerk bait trebles pulled out. The Amazon water levels have been crazy this year and our March trip was cancelled, you lucked into a dip. Oh well, the Florida peas are on fire (75 peas and 52 bass yesterday for my buddy Alan and me in the glades and over a hundred oscars). Next season...
I always loosen the drag when I get in open water with trebles.. that sucks about your trip, hopefully next year. I’m gonna have to hit the glades soon 😉
Gotta give you credit for lowballing the weights of all those fish. Most people would've called those 3 pounders 10 pounders.
