Honestly haven’t heard this song properly in years, once it started I started to tear up, don’t know where that came from but honestly just hearing Dido singing the chorus either reminded me of how simpler times were back then when this came out or just because this song is that amazing that it hits different now all these years later
I got goosebumps reading the lyrics. I used to sing this song when I was a kid not knowing the meaning behind the lyrics. Not a rap fan, but always loved Eminem, and this one in particular. 'Stan' is for all those of us struggling with life, insecurities, worries, self doubt, needing help. I'm feeling all these things right now. I wish I could go back 20+ years and make changes to my life. I walked away from the only person I've ever loved, and fucked up five lives in the process.
