I may live in Iowa but I have been lucky enough to know a few people who live in LA and I know exactly what she means by that line. La is almost like a different country, often times people from LA are just a little bit different and when she said that one that one cuts really deep because there are absolutely certain la types of people who very much seem like they are from LA, like her ex apparently.

This is definitely the best song on this album. In the second part, she really reflects something deep inside of her. I really capture the feeling and can feel her. Also, I'm fascinated that she used her voice within the rock sound so perfectly. Gave me the high-quality progressive rock taste. I really recognize how much I missed hearing rock hits for years. And this song deserves part 2!

This song might be one of the best she's ever released. I don't actually realate to the lyrics as much as songs like halleys commet or male fantasy (where I can make direct connections to my personal life experiences) but this song has just so much power and so much feeling that anyone can get worked up listening to this. Some songs billie will sing very soflty and hardly pronouncing the words as if she's talking to herself about those feelings, but not this one. In happier than ever billie knows exactly how she feels and exactly what she wants to say, with so much feeling and pain and anger, I feel like this songs gets progressively heavier and i feel the need to shout the lyrics along with her as if to share I bit to the overwhelmingness on her voice, then suddenly all the weight it's taken off of me once the song it's over, it's brilliantly addictive.
the first time I heard this album my first thought was "this sounds like it was written by someone in theapy" and that's the best I can describe it.
