I was brought up by my grandparents. My grandad met my Grandma just before I was born so we don’t share the same blood. He loved me so incredibly and always said “you chose me and I chose you, so that makes us extra special”. You guys will be the most incredible parents because you chose your little one ❤️
I always felt like a girl mom too, and I got one, but I can tell you that being a boy mom is so special too. I’ve heard other moms say it too. I really think moms are the first love of little boys. It’s so sweet and such a special relationship. You’re right - healthy is the main hope. You will be a great mom no matter what!
I’m so sorry Mindy you’re dealing with back issues. I’ve had them for years with multiple surgeries. My kids are teens now so I have more help but I’ve had to figure out what works and what doesn’t and live within those parameters. It’s been a struggle but I think I’ve finally found my “new normal”, which is totally fine. I love home life now, and I have plenty to keep me busy. I love your channel, you’ve brought me peace and calm in a chaotic world
I always pictured myself as a girl mom too. Now I'm 36 weeks pregnant with our first child and it's a boy... I'm SO excited! It took a bit for my brain to adjust but I'm there now and I couldn't imagine having a girl first anymore. Sending baby vibes your way!
Mindy, if you can keep from having surgery don’t do it! I had to have back surgery on L4-L5 after a car accident and I wouldn’t do it again. I actually have more issues now than I did before. I am happy for you and Larry on your baby journey and can’t wait to see you as a mama. ❤️

My mom healed her herniated disk. She’s tiny. Took her a lot of time. Lots of stretching, Cortizone shots, stem cell of some sort shots, Pilates and she did some diet changes with anti inflammatory foods. Look into it! She’s doing great now! She’s not into pain killers, doesn’t like to take meds she’s sensitive to meds. Probably bc she’s so petite so u should look into it!
I am truly happy that I found your UA-cam channel 2 years ago. In that time you have inspired me on so many things. Doing my makeup again, decorating my house at holidays and eating healthy. I didn’t know I was pregnant with my daughter until I was over 4 months pregnant because I was still getting what I thought was a light version of my normal period. Didn’t show any first trimester symptoms and four or so Months in “you’re pregnant” and I took like three tests cause I was convinced I wasn’t. The best things in life are a total surprise and I can’t wait for you two to get news of your beautiful surprise ❤️

Hi mindy I had this very uncomfortable pain in my uterus and thought I might of had some kind of infection. Went to the drs and I was pregnant. It was only 9 days in from when my husband and I tried. Both pregnancies I felt it very quickly. You are going to love being pregnant! And you both will be wonderful parents.

Mindy, we had to put our 20 year old cat to sleep yesterday. 💔 It was one of the most agonizing things we have ever had to do and my family is broken hearted. Seeing Lexi pop up in the video made me almost cry. 😢 I always thought Lexi looks a lot like my kitty....I will miss my kitty every single day. 💔

I think it’s nice to admit if you have a slight preference baby gender wise. A lot of us have a vision of what we think our child will probably be/be like! A lot of people shame people for admitting they’d like one or the other. I wanted a girl and had always imagined myself with a girl. I just couldn’t picture myself with a boy... then I had one 😂. I adore him. He’s my little Prince and 4 years old now. We are having our second now and I don’t have any preference this time. I think I just couldn’t picture having a boy the first time! Now I know how great they are xx
I have the exact same back problem, except I have 2 cracks in my spine and a disc completely gone. I have been taking strong pain medication for many years but recently had to stopped due to becoming pregnant with #4. The pain is extreme without taking pain killers.

If induced, picture your worst period cramp, times 100. You feel like your eyes are going to roll into the back of your head and never be the same. You feel like you wanna climb the walls, or wish you could have an out of body experience, to escape the pain. Your mind may go to a place where you're half crazy and try to just get up and leave the room because you're done, you've changed your mind and don't want to do this anymore. But of course it doesn't work that way. If I had to do induction all over again, I'd give up the idea of going completely natural, because being induced, is already a "medicated birth" and no longer completely natural. I'd have asked for an epidural, and enjoyed being in my RIGHT mind through it all, and would have been able to have that sweet special moment everyone dreams about with my spouse as we met our baby, together, for the first time.❤️ As it was, I was so exhausted from 72 hours of labor, all I wanted to do was sleep. I could have cared less about my baby. Sounds really sad, but that's what my reality was, and after 72 hours, that's REALLY OK.🤣 That said, my baby boy is precious, we Adore him, and he IS worth all I went through. Would I voluntarily go through that again? A resounding NO!
P.S. I don't want to discourage you, and I know everyone has their own idea for birth plan. I figure the more info you have the better. I work in a hospital, and Many Many times, epidurals are therapeutic, mine actually helped me finish dilating. And if they're going to take you C-section, you're going to get an epidural ANYWAY. Would probably be a good idea with the back pain you have too anyway!
Of course, if you can go into labor naturally, that's always ideal! 🤣 I'd have been one of those women that died on the plains of child birth, cause boy was good to stay in for another good 2 weeks. He'd have been too big by then!
Ultimately, everyone is different of course. And there's always hind sight. It's hard to know what is the best route, or what's possible when you've never done it before. Anyway, in any case, it's definitely an adventure and will be interesting! You know we're all in your corner! ❤️❤️❤️
Mindy I am horrible when it comes to pain. You could say I’m a hypochondriac lol. But when I was in labor I did so good. I also had the epidural but I didn’t get it until 4 centimeters. My mom was even surprised how well I did. I was in labor 8 hours and pushed for 45 minutes. My labor and delivery was so easy. It didn’t take me that long to recover. I hope you have that same experience.
You and your husband remind me of my husband and I! We are 36 years apart!. He looks a lot younger and acts even younger! We have two beautiful children together, both teenagers now. We have been together since 2002! Ignore any ignorant comments and just enjoy being in love! The people who love you won’t care about the age difference and will only care about your happiness! Hang in there, Im sure god will bless you with a baby soon!
Mindy same back injuries. Find a PT facility and try traction. Instant relief. Hint, have Larry watch how the do it couple of times and can do manual traction at home. Any questions just yell.

My spine is deteriorating and I was told the same thing. They said once they open it up its never the same and usually causes more issues.

My back and shoulder pains have minimized alot with a low carb diet (keto). Try it for a week or two and see how it works for you.

this was a FUN great video but again so SHORT.. you used to do a ton of questions before :( .... I have a feeling someone said something about the length of your videos and now you have gone to short videos.. please go back to what you used to do , we loved your long videos ... im sure a ton of people sent in assumption questions and you only answered a few .. not sure why you are making these videos so short but oh well ....

Just wanted to say thanks for everything!!! I'm also in an age gap relationship and it's so wonderful to be able to follow you,and I'm so so so excited for you and Larry!!!
If induced, picture your worst period cramp, times 100. You feel like your eyes are going to roll into the back of your head and never be the same. You feel like you wanna climb the walls, or wish you could have an out of body experience, to escape the pain. Your mind may go to a place where you're half crazy and try to just get up and leave the room because you're done, you've changed your mind and don't want to do this anymore. But of course it doesn't work that way. If I had to do induction all over again, I'd give up the idea of going completely natural, because being induced, is already a "medicated birth" and no longer completely natural. I'd have asked for an epidural, and enjoyed being in my RIGHT mind through it all, and would have been able to have that sweet special moment everyone dreams about with my spouse as we met our baby, together, for the first time.❤️ As it was, I was so exhausted from 72 hours of labor, all I wanted to do was sleep. I could have cared less about my baby. Sounds really sad, but that's what my reality was, and after 72 hours, that's REALLY OK.🤣 That said, my baby boy is precious, we Adore him, and he IS worth all I went through. Would I voluntarily go through that again? A resounding NO!
P.S. I don't want to discourage you, and I know everyone has their own idea for birth plan.
I figure the more info you have the better.
I work in a hospital, and Many Many times, epidurals are therapeutic, mine actually helped me finish dilating. And if they're going to take you C-section, you're going to get an epidural ANYWAY. Would probably be a good idea with the back pain you have too anyway!
Of course, if you can go into labor naturally, that's always ideal! 🤣 I'd have been one of those women that died on the plains of child birth, cause boy was good to stay in for another good 2 weeks. He'd have been too big by then!
Ultimately, everyone is different of course. And there's always hind sight. It's hard to know what is the best route, or what's possible when you've never done it before. Anyway, in any case, it's definitely an adventure and will be interesting! You know we're all in your corner! ❤️❤️❤️

Mindy I am horrible when it comes to pain. You could say I’m a hypochondriac lol. But when I was in labor I did so good. I also had the epidural but I didn’t get it until 4 centimeters. My mom was even surprised how well I did. I was in labor 8 hours and pushed for 45 minutes. My labor and delivery was so easy. It didn’t take me that long to recover. I hope you have that same experience.
You and your husband remind me of my husband and I! We are 36 years apart!. He looks a lot younger and acts even younger! We have two beautiful children together, both teenagers now. We have been together since 2002! Ignore any ignorant comments and just enjoy being in love! The people who love you won’t care about the age difference and will only care about your happiness! Hang in there, Im sure god will bless you with a baby soon!
Mindy same back injuries. Find a PT facility and try traction. Instant relief. Hint, have Larry watch how the do it couple of times and can do manual traction at home. Any questions just yell.
