Pro tip for universal set rides. What my dad does to keep his backpack dry and not pay for a locker is to use an old poncho or garbage bag and cover the bag with that for the ride. Works really well and keeps your items dry!
Islands of Adventure easily has the best collection of water rides at any park. They've taken the basic water rides - log ride, rapids and shoot-the-chutes - and pitched them all up to 11, and added a ton of amazing and hilarious theming. Pay attention to all of the little details and jokes and Easter eggs all over the rides. My favorite Easter egg is when you go up to the scenic overlook part, and look over the side to the hidden area with the "overlooked scenery".
You WILL get soaked. I always wore tie-on sandals when I rode, because there's no way that your shoes will stay dry.
It's hard to believe that these amazing rides are over 22 years old now!

I absolutely love the rides at Islands of Adventure and Universal Studios. They are the best. It's so much fun experiencing the rides through you. Even though it's only been 2 days without being in the parks, I always miss the parks when I'm not there.

So many memories there, I haven't been there since Jaws was there- so way before Harry Potter. I have a picture of my parents and siblings next to the red fish, blue fish sign, it looks like Dudley Do Right has changed- when I rode it there were only handle bars on the side to hang onto, and they were wet and slippery

My wife's mom wanted to do that water raft as our second ride, what a mistake that was! My shoes and socks were soaked, and I ended up having to go to Walmart and grab some socks and shoes and had to let my feet dry up because by 5pm they were hurting so bad lol.
Same omg my feet were just soaking in water for HOURS (it was our first ride and no one wanted to do the dryer things) and when I got into the car to take my shoes off they were inflamed, sore, wet and PRUNNY FOR HOURS 🤢

We used to “people dryer” after the Popeyes ride too. It was January when it was in the 50’s...I about froze, and that dryer didn’t help 😂😂

January 2020 I did Popeye 5x without getting off - it was 50 degrees and no one wanted to ride it, so we were allowed to stay on for as long as we liked! Definitely one of my favorites at IOA!

you should do a city walk vlog, or an idrive 360 vlog. I would even suggest an Orlando vlog and vlog all the other cool places in Orlando. Living in Orlando I always like to try to tell people all the other cool local spots we have that are outside of the theme parks! Great content though bro, big fan!
The Bilge Rat Barge was the Main ride we rode in the park! The temperature outside was 94* and standing on the concrete walking around and standing in line just intensified it. So we stood in line for the Bilge Rat Barge. That ride was sweet! You get absolutely soaking wet of course, but the sweet surrender of cool water crashing down on you felt amazing on SUCH a hot as hell day in the park. The people we rode the barge with rode it with us like 7 more times. Hahaha yes we stood in line 7 more times because the line Does move quite quickly. We left this morning. Had a BLAST 💥!you could have taken off your shoes and put them in the storage as well. Hehehe We always bring flip flops and a water bag for the wet rides

I did the water rides at Islands of Adventure for the first time last year. I’m glad I left them for last cause I had to leave right after. I was soaked lol

Kyle, Premier is the way to go! I have the Premier for the two parks (not 3 - don’t live in Orlando to enjoy the water park). Premier also gives you a ticket to HHN as well (they should be releasing the Premier HHN dates shortly).

I love vacationing in Florida at WDW, but I always make sure I save at least 1 to 2 days for Universal and especially Islands of Adventure. The best park built by Disney Imagineers after Disney let them all go. BTW the water rides at IOA are the best, but either bring clothes to change into or wear a swim suit.

Hey Kyle! Question for you! If Universal Studios is the park that had the early entry and you were right there in the front for rope drop for Islands of Adventure how were all of those people in that line already for Hagrids?! That many people passed you at rope drop, or are those people who got early entry and they got let into Islands from the other side??
I think those other folks on the Bilge Rat ride must've thought Kyle was a bit loco. LOL! :)
We LOVE the Popeye ride! We laughed the whole way round and wrung out buckets of water from our socks afterwards 😂

That’s the one thing that annoys me about visiting Universal…. LOCKERS
WHY?! As a guest, the hassle of finding a locker and getting all your stuff to fit isn’t worth it for some of their rides. Not to mention buying merch, and then fitting it in a small narrow locker? YUCK!😂 anyway, wonderful video! Made me smile!

@@KylePalIo I guess they just throw me off from only visiting Disney for most of my life. LOL! Disney isn’t usually as strict. It was like a “culture shock” when I went! 😂 I also learned my lesson to shop on the way out of the park. Fitting a wand box, in the mummy’s lockers was such a struggle!😂

@Kyle Pallo, upgrading your Annual Pass to Premiere is worth it not only for no blockout dates for Early Park Admission and Volcano Bay, but you also get Express Pass After 4PM everyday, an included Ticket for Halloween Horror Nights and Preferred Parking.
Kyle, Can you please rope drop Hogwarts Express Train when you have a chance? The first train is with park opening. It goes from University Studios to Islands of Adventure in 4.1/2 minutes. It beats walking. You can use your phone. Tom Does Disney streamer. often does it LIVE with his gimbal. Avoid the heavy camera. ET at Universal and Dr. Seuss The Eye in The Sky. Both rides allow live streaming.
