Love buttons! When we were little in the early 1960s, my Grandmother would entertain us on rainy day by placing us at the kitchen table with her old cookie jar that was full of buttons. They were so beautiful and intricate. Of course back then the Sears catalogs actually came with fabric swatches next the the clothes photos.
I have some buttons are still on the cardboard. I'm not sure how old they are. They say lamode on the front. They're held on with plastic clips but there's no date on them. Don't know if they're worth anything.
Thanks for the video, I have a small box full of nice buttons I found cleaning out the building I maintained. I hope there’s some valuable ones in there. 😁🙏🏼
Loved this! Could have watched for hours, can you follow up with another? What you found under the loop? And the rest of the can? I really was fascinated?! Thank you!
Oh how I love Buttons
Me too! Thanks for watching!

Looks like you'll not only find treasure in the buttons but that Folgers can might be worth something too! 😉👌🏽
Wow what fun! I’m a newbie to collecting and have some wonderful ones❤ Now ………to sort, learn and mount. Soooooo much to learn 😳
You are a wonderful wealth of knowledge!
I love buttons, too! I have hundreds (thousands?!) from garage sales, etc. and must look thru them :)
Good information, history, sorting tips
Enjoyed this, thank you! I just picked up two tubs of vintage buttons to unbox on my channel, hoping to find some treasures 🤞
Very beautiful
So interesting. I did not know any of this. Wished I’d known sooner. Years ago I gave away jars of buttons from my moms estate. 🤷♀️
Oh no! It always breaks my heart a little when I find out the value of something after the fact! Thanks for watching! 😊
Never thought of this.. thanks for sharing this! Just got back into eBay, this is very helpful.
