Day 4 of training out here in Iten, Kenya. Today began with a 6:30 am progression run with the local kenyan athletes which on the hilly forest, dirt roads was very tough. Ended the day with a lovely easy run through the town of Iten. If you're new to the channel please leave a like and consider subscribing for more.

loved seeing the kids just cruising. deep insight into the culture and history of world class running there, in just a short and fun clip. brilliant!
How you are keeping up this class content from Kenya, every day, I’ll never know! Class as usual!
Wholesome content. The kids just cruising along on their way too school gives us an insight into why the Kenyans are so elite. It's in their dna
Loving this content Ben. Keep it up and have a great time out there 👍
Absolutely loving this Ben , a great insight :)
So cool to see the kids running 😅, I had been looking into Kenyan running culture and actually made a short YT video a couple of weeks ago about cultural aspects that influence adolescent Kenyans in becoming elite runners.
Loving the series Ben. Thanks for taking us along for the ride
loving the vlogs :-) , thanks Ben
These are your best videos. Good work!!
In love with these daily uploads!
Really enjoying this series
Love it, the children are amazing. God bless them. Keep it up Ben!
Loving this series already, watch it after my afternoon run is finished. Well done Ben!
Really enjoying the content from Kenya.
Love these videos !! You’ve got me tempted to go, keep up the great content
Loving the series Ben,keep it coming,so nice seeing the upcoming Kipchoge's cruising along to school... thanks for sharing
Loving the regular uploads
Im in love whit this series, love from Uruguay
Keep up the videos Ben - this Kenya experience looks amazing. (you also spelt Brutal wrong in the title :D)
Loving this series Ben, don’t know much about Kenya but from watching this it looks incredible
Pace 4:15 per km... kids are still running with them.
Having got into running a little under a year ago, this experience is so appealing! Looks amazing!!
Those children at about 1:00 were just cruising at 4:15 km pace. Probably a future champion in there somewhere.
man it's going to be SO interesting to see how you feel when you get back home and do a run!
waiting for this for the last hour
keep it up ben love you
What an experience to be running and then to have the Kenyan school kids spontaneously join in. You should have asked for their names, you might have been running with a future Olympic or world champion distance runner lol🏃
Thanks for keeping up the daily vlog. I’m really enjoying the details - looks like good healthy nosh, no pizzas & pastries 😅!
Love the series Ben, looks like a great experience. So far you have used music from all over the continent but not from Kenya (I think). Check out Ayub Ogada, Blinky Bill, Kato Change, Suraj, Muthoni Drummer Queen - among others!
Living the dream Ben! How exciting for you. Love seeing your experiences and how the locals embrace running.
Great update! Can’t wait to see what the fartlek is like
❤ how the children are ticking over, school uniform, bags & all 👌🏽😎👌🏽
What an amazing experience, running along with the school children like that. Did everyone do that run fasted? Really enjoying these vlogs… I really want to go!
I would love to do something like this
I moved to altitude last summer, I train daily at 7,000 -9,000ft. the most important thing is base your efforts on how they feel. your HR will behave differently, so align your efforts to perceived effort, not sea level data.
First triple combo
Nice Kenya 🇰🇪 t shirt 👍🏻
Cheers Ben,
Let me ask you if the trip to Kenya has improved your training skills totally.
I mean it is worth it to go to the Camp ?
How much better you see yourself running now after the whole experience of Kenya ?
Thanks , George ))
Wait until you try the Fartlek Tuesday ….
I was there for 6weeks on my own there and even met Brother Colm, Rudisha and Kipsang!
Great vid Ben! What brands do prescription sunglasses?
Those kids made it look too easy. 😂
Those kids are going to be running sub-2 hour marathons.
Ben Is Burnt
I would love to experience a Kenyan Camp, but I do not run at the paces you guys are running over there. Is there slower groups that beginners can participate?
Do they do a lot of their morning runs fasted? What is your opinion on this?
This shows why the Kenyans are class, running 7min/ miling on the way to school at 10 years old or so 😂
yeah
So …if you went on one of these running tours is 2 weeks the minimum it’s worth going on due to your body needing to get used to the altitude first ? Thank you
They kids were wearing school uniform, had a bag flung over his shoulder and still looked like he was about to drop everyone..
Those kids are the Kipchoge's of tommorow.
Think your elevation gain will have as big an impact as the altitude. More climbing in four easy days in Kenya than in your peak week during marathon block.
👌👍
Are those sunglasses with prescription?
Ben haujajifunza hata kiswahili kidogo??
Not to be that guy but you spelled brutal wrong in the title dude. Enjoying the series ✌🏼
Gotta hate them BURTAL runs!
Kenyan Kids are built difrent. Running 4:15/kms on the way to school😅
At altitude..
They are raised differently.
Once your marathon times consistently get into the mid-to-high 2:10s, will you be interested in pacing female elites at major events ?
That would be so cool to see 😊
The record is 2:14:04 and improving almost each year.
Do the Kenyans avoid roads and just run on soft surfaces?
Most roads in kenya have soft surfaces.
Childrens run to school at 4,15 and easy 🤭
Those kids would drop me anyday 😂
and brutal?
Kids and aged people run easily 💪
The only downside I can see from these Kenya trips is the amount of running. Youve gone half way round the world and are barely running an hour a day
unreal those kids running 4.15 pace at that age in uniform lmfao
Wildlife..... Then proceeds to show us a sheep😂😂
you are getting red day after day hahaha
Burtal or Brutal 😂
