I was at this card as a very young man 30+ years ago (I'm 48 now). What I remember most about this particular match is that it was the second to last just before Ric Flair vs Hulk Hogan. The entire crowd was expecting the Flair / Hogan contest and there was this huge grunt of disappointment as soon as "The Fink" began to announce the two jobbers. In other words, everyone has five minutes to go to the restroom or hit the concession stand one more time!
I see latter that night or the next day at the philadelphia spectrum hogan vs flair was the first match of the night for some reason? We got most of this card the day after Christmas at the Niagara falls convention center excpet the main even was jake the snake vs randy savage ( 3 min match)
Conan CW should have gotten a bigger push. Was just like the Ultimate Warrior, but way more athletic. He would actually have fit in better today with that athletic ability….Conan CW was ahead of his time!!!!!
Height, Vince was won over by his conditioning, but saw his height as an issue, so nothing more than a contract jobber. They billed him as 6'2 sometimes, however it was clear he was no where near 6'2, as Lombardi was barely 6 foot.
Feels like there’s a generic-ness to him. Great physique, great look, but any video of his will have half the comments be “Looks like Kerry Von Erich/Ultimste Warrior/Tom Magee. I’m sure McMahon drooled over the guy and would’ve loved to do something with him, and Walker was a good enough worker, but Vinnie Mac was all about the crazy charisma and marketability. That doesn’t seem to have been Walker’s strength, hence he was lost in the shuffle as just another muscle man.
I always wanted walker & the tornado to team up.
Tom McGee and Chris Walker would've been a good looking tag team

The brooklyn brawler was in the main event section lol
@@Davidjon1946 They probably had to be back on the road for another show later that day
Could have been a member of Von Erich family.

Damn fans were chanting boring before they even locked up
See my comments above & you'll understand why.
Chris Walker better than today's garbage 🤣🤣🤣

So that’s where Big Bear was before he went to Thai land and fight Tony Jaa n a bar fight

Chris walker from outlast lol
Chris Walker to me looked as good as Lex Luger. I wonder why his time in NY was so brief, maybe his in ring work ability?
I know him more so from gwf back in the day.

probably had a bad attitude
@@markstiburski2502 you're assuming a lot
Chris Walker - another Tom Magee...
He didn't have any botches. He just looked like Tom but he could wrestle. His problem was that he was short.
Did the brawler ever win a match?
Mostly against jobbers yes
Beat HHH once. :D
