100 percent agree about lone survivor. Who gives a shit about the details? End of the day they made the ultimate sacrifice and didn't get to come home. It's a tragedy. The amount of enemy is irrelevant. Respect to those guys
The navy lying and covering it up and Marcus change of story to fit the navy narrative is what's wrong. No one is saying those men weren't studs, no one is obscuring their sacrifice. It's like the Pat Tilman incident. They took incompetence from leadership, blue on blue and fog of war and turned it into something it wasn't to protect careers and the organization. Truth is what matters. It matters for the health of the organization and it matters for the men who gave it all.
Marcus abandoned his teammates, and was found with all his mags full. When he was rescued, he wouldn't give any help for the search party on possible whereabouts of his teammates. Some of the rescue force believe they would have found one of them alive if they were helped by Marcus, based on the time of death. How can people learn from mistakes without details?
It is so easy for people to sit back and criticize from the safety of their homes, what those guys went through that day was insane... and tragic
@@FNGACADEMYhis own team mates are tired of him changing his story and details. Just like Chris Kyle and Jocko. It’s coming out now about how great they really weren’t. And it’s coming from the SF community, not us lowly civilians.
His teammates are dead wtf are you talking about?
My theory is that Able has taken so much information in on this channel that hes secretly a John Wick type.
🤣
@Andy-te1mw Kat Timpf is selling shirts (money going to Tunnelto Towers) "half veteran" joking once you're married you get half. Maybe you guys should get Abel one of those.
Touch his dog and find out? 🤷🏻♂️👍
You know we love when you ramble right? Youre just educating us and your enthusiasm to teach and tell is why we love it as well!
thank you! I really appreciate that!
Hollywood didn't change the story of lone survivor. The Navy did. Nobody is saying they aren't heroes. We are saying the Navy is lying. Marcus, initial AAR is accurate. His early interview is accurate. The book and the movie are almost complete. Fabrications compared to what actually happened. Much like what happened to Chapman. The cover-up is real to hide the failures of the chain of command.
This. Its not ppl so much shitting on hollywoods representation, its that the navy and marcus himself didnt tell the real story. Thry were heros but they maybe didnt go down the way we were told they did.
From what i understand there were HUGE holes in the plan and it was very avoidable.
@@hypeflexington7081 yes. One can think the deaths of the seals make them heroes. While small acknowledging that the Navy using their deaths as propaganda to recruit, while covering up their own failures, is absolutely disgusting behavior.
Who gives a shit tho? They fucking died serving this country. Let them be heroes.
@@Doman3500 the other one I'm watching these days is eric demming talking about TF Bruiser and that leadership.
I can’t believe that captain got all healed up in six months. Fucking Superman for sure.
such a beast
Yeah back in the game in 6 months after suffering such extensive injuries. That's insane indeed!
Do Restrepo with Kurt next
will do!
Agreed Restrepo is badass, hella wanna see that with Kurt
Restrepo is amazing.
@@FNGACADEMYAfter Restrepo, don’t forget Korengal which is basically all of extra footage of the unit from the same filmmaker. Some say it may even be a better film than Restrepo which is very hard to do.
I got just got out of a few months of inpatient at the VA with a staff sargent with the unit in restrepo. He is even on camera in a few spots. Listening to his stories were even crazier than what made it in the film.
A lot of military guys really enjoy telling our stories to our civilian friends and getting their reactions on it. It can be really cathartic.
agree 100 percent
I’ve been wanting you guys to do Restrepo since day one
on it!
In “no greater love” the documentary following this unit, the captain told his first Sgt “put me back in”, and the 1st Sgt said “sir, you just got shot in the head and fell off of a mountain. I can’t put you back in”, in which the captain replied “why? You scared?”
Abel, stop apologizing. We love you too
The truth about the lone survivor matters because the truth matters.... there was no need to lie bro. The real story was harrowing enough. Lying about it only tarnished the memory of his team mates. What a shame
Restrepo, Korengal, Pech River Boys...
Some of the documentaries you should put on here.
Edit:
Forgot the Battle for Marjah by HBO
"11 days and a wake up" is a very deep docu.
ill check it out dude
Omg yes and so fucking sad
Two parter. Absolutely heartbreaking.@@FNGACADEMY
This one is also great to watch
@@FNGACADEMYthis. You need to have these guys on. It was a huge fuck up by the command. It should never have happen. The chosen company guys are fucking heroes. Their story needs to be heard.
I was thinking of posting Restrepo. Great doc.
Restrepo was one of the hardest hitting documentaries I've ever seen.
It deserves coverage.
5:37 Thank you for talking well about all of the men of Operation Red Wings
The biggest crime about the lone survivor movie is having a Bostonian portray a Texan
The point is for you to ramble my guy! 🤙
Always good shit
Thus has been an amazing video thus far!!!! Your home boy is asking all the right questions. I know it's all simple to you but when ya don't know ya just don't know. So thank you so much for explaining this stuff as much as you did. It's awesome!!!!
Ok, at the beginning when they were talking about the captains Injuries… like holy fuck lol
The danish docu "Armadillo" is also really good and gives another perspective of the same fight, worth a watch, some gnarly shit was seen in that docu too!!
I think the issue with the whole lone survivor is that Lutrells story is BS and dosent add up and that that his unit incentivised him to tell this current story out of embarrassment of the SEAL community
Also in the Taliban video where you can hear his team calling for Marcus to come back
Where were you when all this was happening would be my question?
Have you seen the TV show The Brave from 2017? It's one season with 13 episodes.
It's about a special ops group that specials in rescue kidnapped, etc.
Marine taking pictures at strip club: "Oh don't worry, this isn't for personal use. I'm just gathering intel."
😂😂😂
You should do “11 days and a wake up” - one of the most moving and inspiring documentaries I’ve seen!
Restrepo + the movie Korengal is all the b roll from the same deployment. It was a videographer and a journalist. The book War is the journalist on the deployment. Seeing the same situations described in words as happening in videos is eerie. The journalist was just killed last year I think, I can't remember what conflict though.
Thank GOD you said something man. I've been listening to a podcast with this dude "uncovering" the "truth" when in reality he's doing nothing but creating drama and the only reason I watch is to see just how sick people can really be. I wish I remembered the dudes name or his pod but that's how important he is that I forgot. I didn't care about the "story" and It's sickening to hear someone that served in that capacity come back and shit on his brothers for views. Nobody talking badly about the situation had anything to do with it but they think they did because they were in at the time yet still have no first hand knowledge. Hell there was even and old dude with white hair on their pods saying the same stuff for attention. It's absolutely sickening.
I'll never forget the sound of bullets going threw the trees above my head while hunting. The neighbor was an anti hunter and decided to shoot into the area we were hunting. He shot off dozens of rounds.
Can you guys keep watching reacher? Because i love it when you watch it so much fun to see your reactions :D
My dad was telling me that when he was in Vietnam he carried a camera around with him that he took a lot of pictures of confirmed kills and stuff like that and he took all that film home with him as a war trophy he never got any of it developed and it all wound up getting destroyed in a house fire when I was six
I watched this documentary over the weekend. I wanted to see your reactions on it
Still waiting for that Warrant Officer Buck
I love that you didn’t edit out the part about your dog interrupting.
Love the ramble! Keep it up :)
Maybe do "Armadillo", which is a danish documentary (with some dramatic edits) of our ISAF7 tour in Helmand, Afghanistan.
ill check it out!
I love the men and wemon that put there lives on the line for the usa. respect and love and thank you for you're service
Much appreciated
Have yall done the Outpost? That's pretty damn good. Watching this makes me want to watch this and Restrpo again.
YES!
That was a really good one, gents. 👍 👍
appreciate it!
Just so yall know seal team coming back on
Watch “No greater love” they follow this unit in this deployment, but it’s the Chaplain with a camera who made the documentary. He was on all the operations including the one where the captain was shot in the head
Hollywood didn’t change the story. Luttrell did. NSW did. There’s Afghan video of the ambush. You can hear axe calling out for Marcus to help him. He himself in his aar admitted he just hid and froze. Then he changed it to him being a badass.
The seals and NSW did the same thing with John chapman at takhur ghar.
What is done with the enemy bodies after an engagement? Do you just leave them as is or move them into a more respectable arrangement or something respectable?
I’ve always wondered. My personal inclination would be to do something to restore some dignity and show whomever is collecting bodies that there’s still respect. But I have zero context to square that with reality.
Definitely Restrepo!!! Bad a** story!!! Another group of hard soldiers!
Doc is Restrepo and he died. How did you meet him after watching the movie? Sorry maybe I misheard what you said.
Is there going to be a part 3? The video just cut out with no outro. Or editing mistake?
probably I went long on this one, such a good doc
Why are all the video clips cut off so we can’t read subtitles?
Do you guys have any more foot care kits??
6:44 damn bro well said they died for their country not many people are even willing to sign up just doing that in of itself takes a lot
Its all good Abel u can just ask Sean questions or comment from a civilians perspective
you guys need to watch Restrepo and To Hell and back again since you love this
I just saw a documentary on the battle of Wanat done by the father of one of the soldiers killed I wonder if you could do that though it’s a documentary it points out not only strategy ,but also the Army’s inability to own up to a mess up that caused those brave soldiers to die
Hey buck you know which one you and Kurt should also do im pretty sure you guys would love it and it’s one of my favorites to watch Inside combat rescue PJs. Those guys are bad ass.
good idea!
Love yall! Your videos dropping feels like a Kendrick Lamar song dropping to me. Highly anticipated and reliably awsome.
Nice!!! Thank you!
Would love to see u guys react to the clean house and wolf's den missions from call of duty mordern warfare 2019
You guys should do 28 weeks later beers and breakdown soon
Luttrell also healed up all those injuries and redeployed to combat after...
PLEASE DO COMBAT OBSCURA!!! PLEASE DO COMBAT OBSCURA!!! PLEASE DO COMBAT OBSCURA!!! PLEASE DO COMBAT OBSCURA!!!
M249 light machine gun
M240 medium machine gun
M2 50 big a** gun
M19 one big a** fun gun 👍🏻
13:07 I wanted to mention Restrepo to you guys but seems like it will be there in the near future. Restrepo is a very 'good' documentary but it hits hard man. I never been in the Korengal valley but it sure triggered some memories with me 😓... Still, I would really like to hear you guys opinions while watching it! The hornets nest I haven't seen but I will now, thanks gents! 💪 Oh and Abel, you're doing great man 👊
Petition for doggo guest appearance.
nah marcus signed a multi million book deal and lied… pretty sure the dietz family do not like marcus so that says a lot. people aren’t talking shit on the guys who died simply marcus
Would love to see you guys talk about military sci fi films like Starship Troopers, Edge of Tomorrow, or something even sillier like G.I. Joe. Just for fun.
we did edge of tomorrow i believe
A fun movie would be Polar.
Movie from 2019
I swear you looked like Tyler Grey for a sec 😂
Don't tell him that.
It'll give Buck a boner.😂
Can u react the training of scout ranger in philippines?
Thank you Sean for saying something about lone survivor and Marcus luttrell. I'm sick of the constant slander and especially the military eating it's own. It's like an epidemic online nowadays. That whole luttrel family is doing great things
Tyler gray vs Able boxing match when?
LMAO!
Civil War reaction next!!
Talking ab getting drunk and missing an entire day or 2...im so glad i quit drinking...hearing that brought back that feeling...i played music in bars for a long time and that was a weekly occurrence...makes me sick thinking ab it
yea drinking is getting old for sure
25:04 Buck, white kind of tattoo do you have on the left side of your neck?
How can we be wrong ? If the people who came back dont tell the true story ? Just because they did it doesn't mean they should lie about it ? Doesn't matter how much good the lie did it's still a lie .
I have a suggestion for Seal Team when you get back to it. Instead of individual episodes, why not break it down by story arcs?
I think people start calling BS when the story changes. Yes Hollywood will change things but in the book iirc (i read it like 12 years ago) they knew- or at least figured- Danny was dead because he was on one of the flanks with a machine gun (probably a Mk48) and it went silent. One of the retellings I've seen Marcus give on video was that he was picking him up and turned to go off a cliff and he was shot in the head.
He never had a MK48
Restrepo was on my lips before you said it, Buck
on it!
Restrepo documentary soon is needed
on it!
I'd be up for restrepo
Do Extraction 1 and 2!! (Please)
we did
O
Honestly if they started bringing stuff up about lone survivor it’s probably because him and his brother got into politics you know they probably want to discredit and Assassinate their character!!!
Lol he lied 😂 also go watch the video of the Taliban. The rangers who evacuated him found him with full Mags and the Afghan guy he was staying with also said he found him with all his ammo
Any chance of getting a react video to "Who Dares Wins" or "9th Company" (yeah, I know it's a Russian movie, but it's a good one!)?
ill check it out
Yes, watch Restrepo. It's such a good documentary.
on it!
There’s no such thing as a half way gangster.
U guys should react the fat electrician about 77th division the old bastards I would love see your reactions.
ill check it out
11 days and a wake up please! Covers a deployment where the unit "chosen company" where like a week from going home then command decided they had to to to wanat which was like a taliban strong hold and build a new outpost there in like the shittiest spot imaginable. Pretty much at the bottom of a fish bowl. And it ends up going about just how you would imagine. Then after the fact the higher ups try to blame the dead soldiers instead of taking responsibility
Will we see "Best in Hell" at some point?
It's basically a Wagner promotional film if you want to know a little more about it before going in watch History Legends on it.
It's kind of cool actually with yeah got to admit some corny things and yes understandably promotion to one side but let's be fair everyone is guilty of this.
Note if one is going to judge the military side of things know Wagner doesn't operation or commands itself like a normal military and just because it isn't from your system doesn't mean its always bad just different.
wine and rations when? 👉👈
maybe with Tyler Grey
@@FNGACADEMY how about round 3 vs andy, you said wanted to win those toe hold sandals from him by beating him
Watch restrepo!
GW and the gang were the original Taliban 👊
Hey Buck I love that you're not ashamed of that hideous "Barberella" tatoo. Definitely takes some cojõnes.
got it when i was 15 shes glorious
Wait about the lone survivor thing that was not called out correctly by Shawn. I love this channel but the new story is that another navy seal senior to Marcus is saying this is going to come out like soon. So it’s not randoms talking shit it’s a legitimate person who “was there” yes not in Afghanistan but was still doing the duty of navy seal. So that got a bit misleading. I’ll have my popcorn ready for if this scandal actually is proven legit. Doesn’t change Marcus is a hero. But mayyyyyy also have a very deep conspiracy attached to him whether he like it or not. We shall see
You guys aren’t pausing enough. Especially in seal team. There’s a lot of details.
Every other video on UA-cam nowadays wants to highlight downfalls of other military communities. For what? For views and clicks? Who are they to feel like they have that authority when they weren't there or apart of that community themselves. It's honestly sick.
If the Taliban had Nods and IR, they'd clap 100x worse
This comment is for Abel and the Algorithm
Anyone else still waiting to see Buck’s feet pics?? No? Ok I’ll see myself out
Love the content, by the way keep up the good work 👍🏽 👍🏽
lmao!
people should really start do their own business rather then try to find some conspiracy in 'lone surv..' , leave the man alone he lost his brothers, and still he said he is not the hero as he put weapon down ... he do what he need to do as they all, other thing is ... people who been in similar situation at lz will know this is sh** place to be, sometimes you pray to god to be back at home but it is impossible because you are at the point for now, life is funny I can say, murphys law always happened - so sad but its life
The problem is “that man” didn’t do any of it. He tried to tell the truth, Hollywood made up his brothers’ stories. He did not “get a movie made”. Guys, we are the post Iraq war generation, we care about the truth.
With ALL due respect.
Marcus put down his rifle, ran and hid while his "brothers" cried out his name and for his help....
Where were you when this was happening?
And you know this how keyboard commando?
@@marcoosvald8429 read about it
Do restrepo
will do!
Shitty take on loan survivor. If you worked with someone that lied about their time overseas to the point that they said they got in a heroic run and gun gunfight with 30 plus enemy fighters and then went on a public press tour talking about his heroics, wrote a book, and had Michael Bay make it into a movie and then you found out that individual hadn’t expended even one magazine of 556 and got his twin brother to fill in on his selection course you would sure as shit say something about it.
First ❤
