I rarely comment or subscribe to any random channel, but I gave you sub when you started to talk about skills development. That's when I realized that you didn't make this video for UA-cam ads or views but rather giving a life testimony as an example. I appreciate you bro. Keep uploading more day to day challenges that international students face in the States.
My advice - please start with a community college, it cheaper than a university. If you are interested, google community colleges in all the states and see which ones are cheaper, just make sure that they are accredited by checking the us department of education website. Normally, no colleges can operate in the US without accreditation - the government don't play, they will shut down the school.
So even if i'm done with my bachelors degree from my country, you mean I can still apply to a community college from my home country ? Or you mean I should apply for a Masters first, then transfer to a community college when I have my admission and Visa?
I felt out of status back in 2018, after I couldn't complete my transfer on time. Trust me when I say it is not an experience you want to go through. I am glad I was able to overcome it and doing well for myself now.
i got to the uk as a teacher and the very day i got there and saw the life of people there i just thanked God why i never came as a student i would’ve been most miserable
Finally, someone telling the truth about our struggles here. Trust me the struggles will make you question why you come here. Thanks for telling the truth.
It's sad that we could have to leave our countries (clearly, you are a Ghanaian) in our best years to work in another man's country to develop it while ours is in shambles.
My school fees is 5k per semester but I got little amount of scholarships and I’ll still pay about 4K per semester for my masters degree. I would like to accept the admission but I don’t know how I’ll be able to pay my fees
Is "we meet 100% demonstrated financial need" a gimmick? I am only applying to need-blind colleges that meet full demonstrated financial need and I am confused whether they really keep their promise.
Wait oo,what did you mean by transferring to a community college whiles you’re rather there for university?? And how many years should incase you find yourself in this situation, are you going to spend in the college of transfer?
If you have no money. start at a community college. He is in West Virginia, the part he is living likely a rural area where there are no buses, that was why he talked about Uber. That is how you reduced the cost of education. Trust me, I lived in the states, knows what I am talking. Not all community colleges are cheap though; however, if you do your research very well, you can find a cheaper one.
@johnsonajayi7846, so if I go to the US as a university student and transfer to community college. How many years is community college before continuing to university
Getting a visa is usually difficult when coming directly to a community college than a university. It’s easier to transfer once you finish a semester of studies as most universities will not allow you to transfer immediately
My dad just raised money for the whole year and pay his tuition in full.. and than raised money for 6 months rent that’s how he was able to live on the money he made from on campus employment. But not all people an do this plan but if you can do this plan it will help you a lot . Than you can use the money made from on campus employment will go towards rent and a bit of saving for next school year .
Hlo Bro Charles, I have been searching for your page for some time now, please I’m a current university graduate yet to receive my certificate. Kindly help me with my application on my masters. Please

Youn can do that, most colleges have places where you can lock the bikes and it is safe; however, you must be living about 15 minutes to the college, you don't want to ride a bicycle for an hour to the college, that is not good.

Why didn't you talk about MPOWER which does not need a US co-signer? I think you should give people the full story. Don't misinform people.
Maybe he doesn't know about it, you are correct; however, you must be studying STEM MAJORS TO GET LOAN FROM MANPOWER.

You didn't talk about rent and utilities which are essential needs
If community college is affordable, why not applying directly with them. Or it's best you apply through Uni before transferring

thanks for sharing, just wondering how you got a visa while not having funds to cover at least the first year
