Holy shit, I've never seen a shorts creator that has been defending their opinion for a long time. Props to you man. I can't remember where I first discovered scp, idk if it was a roblox game or if someone told me or if I came across it honestly. I at first liked the foundation itself, thinking they are the good guys when in reality they were putting human lives first for ''Science'' . I haven't heard of any factions that are good at that time so i though the foundation are the good guys but when I learned about the GOC and how they did things, I realize that they ARE the real heros. GOC probably has the right idea, if an scp has already proved too dangerous to live then you nuke it out of orbit but if you can safely contain it for studies, then do it. It kinda depends on the risks, maybe I'm just over thinking this.
In the G.O.C rules it's actually like that G.O.C have codes and if an anomaly breaks these codes they'll get terminated for example the chair ok it was not harmful but it was breaking the "concealment" code of the G.O.C because of teleportation thing and imagine if the C.I took that thing and use it in their plans but SCP foundation thinks different their motto is "everything is containable" but no sadly it's not like that even the foundation had to explode whole site to stop SCP - 682 in Gate B ending of the game just imagine if it got to humanity this is why we have some codes and why we kill all the parathreats which breaks these codes 😁😁

Both the SCP Foundation and the GOC has the right ideas, but also has flaws. The GOC's mission of extermination of anomalies, may have the right idea, but if they destroy all anomalies, then humanity could potentially lose valuable assets. Anomalies that could be utilized for the protection of humanity against threats such as the Scarlet King.
The Foundation's mission also has flaws, one of which is the consequences of a containment breach, which results in deaths of many people, whether Foundation, or civilians.
A good thing to mention is that when Iris or scp 105 joined the GOC as an agent in the Unfounded canon they treated her a lot better than how she was treated as a Foundation agent, in case you didn't catch that part so yes goc treat their agents like actual people and the goc being evil is just scp propaganda from what i heard and goc wont just destroy right away they would test if its a threat to humanity and you may ask but goc destroyed the chair in a woodchipper the reason for that its because of uncontainable due to its abilities to teleport anywhere thus could threaten normarlcy

The GOC is a section of the UN and thus needs to follow the rules the UN enforces like the human rights charter
This mean that the GOC when confronted with an anomaly that is human like iris Thompson (105), the operators would not just kill them.
That also goes for the D Class because of the human rights Violations the SCP foundation commits with them.
The thing people forget about the GOC mission statement is that survival of humanity is above all else, civilians are not acceptable casualties and GOC operators are expected to sacrifice themselves if means protecting the innocent, on the flip side the operators are not expendable and should not allow fellow operators to die without reason no matter what.
The GOC are not monsters that kill all anomalies because they are anomalous, they focus on the bad ones and protecting the innocent

What I like about the factions in the SCP canon is that all of them are right or at least understandable from a certain viewpoint.
Most them represent possible answers to the question of how to react when one comes face to face with the anomalous, the incomprehensible. A question that by definition simply doesn't have an answer.
That's why one of my favorite SCPs is 6001 Avalon. It's a timeline where the various GOIs made peace and decided to cooperate together. It was glorious.
Turns out, if the Foundation, GOC, CotBG and Serpant's Hand actually work together, they can figure out how SCPs work without having to get a bunch of people killed and *understand* them. Thus, they can contain them in smarter ways.
They figured out to *talk* to the SCPs. They "contained" 682 by walling off part of Australia, declaring it no-fly zone and just leaving him there. Turns out, he's only triggered by Human presence. If he can't see or hear Humans, he just kind of walks around.
Turns out, the Statue just wants to be seen. He's an art piece. It's why he stops when you're looking at him. He *wants to be seen.* So they stuck as the centerpiece of a well-lit, 24 hour museum. He's always in *someone's* line-of-sight. At midnight, they turn the lights for a split second and he takes a new form.
Oh, and the UIU merged with the GOC and that makes me *so happy.*

We have a side and that side is protecting humanity at any means necessary but siding with C.I is impossible for G.O.C because C.I is a faction that wants to dominate world and use the anomalies(parathreats) in their own favour but Foundation's and G.O.C's objective are the same protect humanity... even tho both faction have flaws and i think the G.O.C cause is better i'd rather destroy something which can destroy anything in the world rather than containing it inside a metal box which can be breached by a single system change made by C.I (SCP:CB scenerio)

Yes you are right since humans are created we always wanted to learn, learn and learn more and more as a part of animal instict of learning but risking lives + using people whom are guilty or not as cannon fodder to gain knowledge that will not work on anything for human sake is not sensible in my opinion and progress is so slow mostly non exsitent when you stop and think well these people does tests and sends D-Classes to test chambers for years since the Foundation has been founded and O5 have been established by administrator and containing these anomalies in a cell forever well as you can see have results as containment breaches or staff starting to be paranoid or something best way is the G.O.C lately chosen but efficient way capture the anomaly do the tests on them (not using D-Class) after that kill them or if it's killing prosedure isn't founded yet just give it to Foundation for containment till it's prosedure has been found...

One thing to remember is that the GOC does have a program for parathreats if they want to work with the GOC named "Special Assets" which is ran by the GOC's Emergency Arm PANGEA, same thing with PHYSICS, forgot the name of that though. So yeah the GOC uses more powerful technology, thaumaturgy (magic but real), Giant Mechs, overpowered power armor, stealth technology, and so much more. And in a tale "Special Assets", SCP-191 Is being put into a program in which she get's upgraded and when she turns 18 she can help the GOC, overall the GOC basically can make an paranormal army if they played their cards right.

Hello! I admire the SCP Foundation for their absolute courage. GOC and the SCP Fond may share the similar attitudes towards the anomalies but both have major conflicts. GOC does operations covertly while the Fond thinks they can perform the operations better when doing it overtly. They have agreement to not fight with each other when they meet in the same battlefield, but often it comes with the violence.

And i'm gonna talk about the 5000 scenerio tell me if Foundation fought Anomalies and G.O.C at the same time they would've lost too what G.O.C did in 5000 is to fight with MTF and Anomalies together and no power can stop that kind of armageddon what do you expect while there are 1 battalion plus 682 you expect to defeat them? Yeah good luck with that and one more thing you are all basing the canon events this doesn't make Foundation stronger and anything with obvious answered.

True but that actually that happens after sometime when G.O.C understands the fact that G.O.C can't fight all the anomalies with Grunts and other stuff so G.O.C changed the policy and recruited mages, constructed mechs and developed more even recruited anomalies that fits the rules of G.O.C (reality benders included) and made agreements with Foundation if anomalies don't break some simple rules they can be contained but if they breaks these rules welp lad that anomaly is dead and if something is not containable G.O.C directly terminates it theres a fine line between both factions and both obey the agreement 🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️

I kinda agree with this but also nkt agree i mean the reason why the scp foundation is to study and contain it so people like the chaos insurgency dont use them but at times if the scp is so dangerous they should destroy it but at times the goc is correct if the anomoly is so dangerous they should destroy it but if its not dangerous they shouldnt destroy it like example scp 999 that thing is not dangerous it protects human the goc would probably destroy it there is a time where the scp foundation and the goc worked together against the rainbow serpent
