If there were Oscars for railway videos, this would be the winner. Stunning photography, in a country with such awesome scenery and locations. Thankyou so much for a fantastic video.
What a beautiful video. Thank you Dulevoz. I am train driver and I'm lucky enough to drive both, left and right side of the Rhein valley for some years now. I am still impressed by sheer beauty of this region. Keep up the good work.
My wife and I were there in August 2019 and the tour guide on the Rhein River Cruise pointed out that the tunnels were being made to resemble castles and cathedrals along the Rhein. I remember seeing some like that in 1970 as a youth and 1988-1991 while stationed in Europe. I suppose that they are still doing it. Beautiful.
I used to work in Germany and traveled by rail from Bodensee to Dortmund along the Rhine and the scenery was beautiful so after hearing about it from me my wife and I traveled from cologne to Mainz and she was smitten so every time we go to Germany we travel by rail to our destination and we love German rail travel
They've been planning a bypass for decades, but because of the topography, it would be hundreds of kilometers in tunnels which is extremely expensive. But there will be an alternative at some point.
Another awesome video. My Dads parents are from southern Germany and sure would like to visit one day, not only for the trains but looks like a beautiful country. I live in Southern Ontario which is flat as a pancake with nothing close to what I see in your videos. Thanks for sharing.
This was a wonderful video! I am feeling very low as my with faces hip surgury and I rear ended another vehichle, my attention on Jo Anne and not paying attention to what I was doing. You videos cheer me up. Best regards, Dana.
Absolutely wonderful video!!! Lovely nature, lovely trains, i envy you :) Im planning huge Eurotrip with trains and i think i will add this place to my jurney!
Nice, I envy all the great spots you have to photography trains. NIce video I did not see any 12.000 foot monsters like we have in my area. :-)Beautiful country. Wish I could visit.
Thanks. That was one of the best videos of the Rhine I have ever seen. Those cargo trains run like bunnies. Wish we could rewind the video back to the eleventh century to see Saint Hiildegard walking along where the railroad would run someday.
Love the rhine gorge and I said to my wife we’ll have to do this together as I’ll already travelled from Bodensee to Dortmund by rail during the time I was working in Germany, so 2 years ago I got the chance to do it with my wife from Düsseldorf down to Mainz got the day ticket so cost very little and had a lovely day in Mainz and because our train was 30 minutes late we waited at the correct platform but the train pulled up at a different platform and we didn’t realise so the kindly staff changed our ticket from regional trains to the ice so we ended up leaving 45 minutes late and got into Düsseldorf 10 minutes ahead of the train we were supposed to be on , so a grand day out plus we got to ride with the regional trains and the ice and met a nice young man who spoke perfect English and helped us so much with our German, so the motto is travel by rail and you will be looked after and this is why I love Germany,
Such beautiful scenery. Before I read the title of the video, I could tell right off the bat that this wasn’t in the states. It’s crazy how different other countries look from the topography to the style of the buildings, the tunnels, the trains, the road signs, etc… it’s absolutely beautiful.

Beautiful videos and scenery. I was stationed in Wiesbaden with the US Army from December, 1970 to March, 1972. One day I took a train to Bonn through the Rhine Valley and back to Wiesbaden. It was a beautiful trip. I miss hearing the shrill whistles of the trains as they enter tunnels. Do they not use them anymore?
@Doug Bess Thank you. It's not good to use horns, as it used to be, in history, because of too many trains today and disturbance of the environment, especially in urban areas like this.
My Dad was stationed at Mainz 1968-1970 and I attended high school at Wiesbaden during those years. Many years later I was stationed at Florrennes, Belgium and Ramstein, Germany 1988-1991. They were the best assignments I had in my 22 years of service. I retired 1994. Great memories of the Rhein!
I did use a very small sound effect for my TrainSimulator project. Please let me know, if you have problems with that. Thanks! What a nice video of a great route and varity of traffic.
@@michaellaudahn thanks! Now that the works is reopening, I’m heading to Germany in December for the first time. Staying in Oberwesel, can’t wait. All your scenes in this clip, was this over a few days? Great job.
I live next to this trains in Bararach and I hear the noise 24/7. It’s annoying 😢 but I still love living here, who comes first? Me or the rail road… 🤨 #dontcomplain could be worse…
Que cosa de reportaje y paisajes mas precioso, mi enhorabuena dulevoz me ha encantado, lo que no sé a que lugar se refiere creo que es Alemania, pero la verdad no lo sé. OK

Since the 80s... I think. They use them normally only to warn at ''Railroad crossings without technical protection''.
