  • @alexprincel
    @alexprincel 15 років тому +4

    On the flop Antonius had 12 outs (don't forget someone had K8) for roughly 48% chance to hit one of his outs which he did (the 6). When the turn came, he now had 8 outs for roughly 16% chance but he didn't hit. I don't think he was that far behind and from what we can see, I think he was very short-stacked (compared to Sahamies at least) and he probably just gambled it.

  • @EGarrett01
    @EGarrett01 16 років тому

    Watching it again 2 months later, I think this is a bad play. Ilari re-re-raised, would he really do that with a flush draw? Especially because Ilari must know that Patrik would have odds against a flush draw and call. I think Patrik just made a mistake.

  • @Matedogswe
    @Matedogswe 16 років тому +1

    btw why do they speak english i thought they were both from finland

  • @ARNDTA
    @ARNDTA 16 років тому

    You don't get it, do you. Patrik puts Zig on a flushdraw, i.e. Jc6c, Ac7c. Even if Zig has two live overs (KcTc) Patrik is still about even money.
    He doesn't give Zigmund an 8 or a set = he's drawing live in any other scenario. Finally -and probably most important- he has 15K+ in already and he wants to protect it.
    If Antonius does anything wrong in this hand, it is the initial raise to 15K imo. I may be wrong, of course.

    He has 4 outs after flop, not 12. 5 outs, if you don't count the folded 8. After turn he has 11 outs and 23 percent, not 8 outs and 16 percent. However, on the turn he has many cards that will give him new draws, so he will still have about 26 percent to win after flop.

    @cardcoursecom that strenght could be, in zigmunds case, also straight/flush draw and agianst them was PA favour, he knows that zig doesn't have a set so he can be drawing pretty death against 8/5 8/3 but he assumed, zig wouldnt play pf like that, so after little speech he "whatever" shoves.. zigmund is pretty sick to play any draw like that PA knows that

    Zigmund and PA have played together for years. This is not a $25nl game online. Zigmund would make this play with nothing and with a flush draw. Yes its a high variance play but PA knows that Zigmunds knows that this is a decent flop to make a play if he has nothing, so his rage isnt just flush draws and sets, ohh and 2 pairs :-)

    Yes you don't fold a coin flip.But my point is Pat's hand really isn't that strong,top pair with a mediocre kicker,you saw the guy with 9,K fold his hand.Chances are he's beat or it's a coin flip at best.He won't be making that move with air.I think the deciding factor may be he's kinda low on chips..might started off with 100k and hes with less than 50 when the hand started

    This doesn't mean that Patrick directed that at anyone at the table, because nothing was said to cause that. He probably mumbled this to exclaim his frustration. Does Antonius look like someone who'd be afraid to say it loudly and to the face of the other guy?

    i calculated the odds of winning with 2 pair here against any given hand:

    as you can see it obvious who will win most cases here.
