Thank you so much for all the input. I started sprint tri in 2011 and never did swim before that. This year ive finally made most progress and success. With your pointers and advice ive gone from 10min 500 meters to 8min 500 meters. I can also now swim a mile with no fatigue with a little over 7 min avg per 500 meters. Form is everything once youve built up your swim muscles it seems😎 and you've said in the past...it takes months if not years, and commitment to see progress sometimes. I think if i stick with it i can exceed my limits. Thanks again.
you are correct. You were able to point that out to me after I sent a video of myself swimming about 3 months ago. I have corrected and going over the top is the key. my stroke has improved 100% thank you
I subscribed to this channel. Great tips and tutorials on here. My freestyle has improved as a result of applying techniques I've watched on here. Many thanks!!!!
Thanks for this I will try all what I've learned fr. Your chanel I'm a beginner didn't know much about techniques But now I'm trying to practice open water hopping i can swim 250mt So the coaches will let the join the free training for beginners. My English is bad All i can say is thank you☺️
Like the videos, however poor demonstration at times. The demonstrator is moving way too fast to see what is going on for someone who is new. Slow down some parts some more.
"during the recovery, lead with the elbow"... That's the meaning of that video. Better than seeing it, you might "think" and "feel" while swimming. Command to your elbow, not to your hand... I'm not sure it can easily be illustrated, but it can be told.
Will the rotation of the hand through 90 just before exit (as seen in the video) assist in reducing the wasted energy and disruption of bouyancy and balance? I realise that this may show that I've been away from swimming for almost 40 years, however I have a need (rehabilitation) and a desire to try and regain my fitness, strength and (I know that I'm delusional here) the speed I had, but not necessarially the duration.
He's losing out on so kuch power! I still need to send in my video. Bit nervous though as eveyones going to expext my stroke to be perfect just because I teach 🙈

Thank you for your help ☺ real fan from thailand 👍
Thanks for watching :)
I learn so much watching your videos
I notice the sprinter in the beginning and also the others, don't have that "glide" portion of their stroke. I'm glad I'm not the only one.
Thanks for this

very good explanation! Thank you so much
Good point.
Cheers for the advice, any ideas as to why I go in reverse when kicking only ?
This was helpful!
@Effortless Swimming who is the swimmer/sprinter with the beard and a white and blue cap? Great style
Q 3=if cold water more buoyance then does it mean easy swimming because buoyacy make things float.
Very helpful. Thanks
Not sure if right, felt like a cable tricep extension with hand from naval to mid thigh. Is that too much tricep?
Ahhh so important and I never knew this

Sir plz Q1= cold water easy to swim or hot?
Sir Q 2= is cold water more buoyacy?
cheers bro! 👍
I like to kick water out and the end of this stroke. Pushing all the way back and up and feeling water fly out.

But how did they record him sprinting
you sound like adrian gee
I dont understand why there are 3 tumbs down? Lol, quite the jerks.
I can understand why some may find the explanation not convincing and also light on explanation. Also don't feed the trolls.
The guy in the black swimsuit was using horrible form.
