There is a huge difference between the way Shay treats Brailee and Gage vs the way Casey treats Shay's kids. Just an observation from all the vlogs I have watched.
I think it would be a good idea to tell local animal shelters that you found a dog. Someone on the other side of town who doesn't go to your church might be looking for her. But of course you guys might have already talked to shelters and not mentioned it. Also like other people mentioned, she might be micro-chipped. Some people might really miss their family dog who just accidentally got out from like a yard worker opening the fence gate or a child leaving the door open. I'm totally not hating on Shay! I think it is nice of him to take care of a stray dog, I just hope he is 100% sure she is a stray. :)
That's what I said! I wrote a comment earlier that he should check if the dog is 100% straight because she may not have all her vaccines she could have rabies or cancer or something like that they should check the dog at the vet!

I think it's ironic that everyone seems to dislike Avia because she's a "spoiled brat" even though when you hear her interact with her family she's generous and kind hearted. It's always the nice ones who are misunderstood the most.
oh and just a quick fyi I'm not sure if I've heard you guys say it or not but maybe take her to the vet and get her checked out. If a dog is abnormally fat it could be heart worms. but of course it may also be malnourishment from when she was homeless. Such a nice thing you guys are doing taking in Blondie! :)

I feel like, just because Emmi didn't pay as much as the other girls doesn't mean that she only gets 5% of the dog. I think it should be EVERYONE'S dog! (mostly Avia, Brailee, and Emmi's dog.) Just because she didn't pay as much or nearly as close as the other girls doesn't mean that she should get a less percentage of the dog. If my siblings did that to me, I would feel VERY disappointed, because when you're the younger child you normally get left out. Although I know it doesn't really matter, it's a dog, but what's the point of, "you get to own this percentage of the dog and you get five percent Emmi." Either way, the dog will be loved. But seriously how could you "own" the dog separately.
Guys, I understand that Shay is teaching them about money and how it works in the real world, but the percentages are stupid! You can't own 5% of a dog. How would that work? Gavin is awesome. Avia is gorgeous and looking more and more like Colette everyday. Emmi is beautiful and her personality is so funny and unique. Brock is hilarious and adorable. Daxton is the cutest baby and I think he's growing up too fast. Shay & Colette are amazing parents! Thumbs up if you agree!

Tell that to the kittens that got ripped apart by coyotes because Shay isn't a 'cat person' and didn't want to take responsibility for them or even take them to a damn shelter. Or even to the cats now who have to live in a dangerous garage and are probably going to start dying off soon because of either the environment or the way the kids man handle them.

I agree with you! Making an effort to find the owners is always the best thing to do. Dogs can travel for miles and be displaced easily. The dog could also go home at one point and the owners might not be too happy.

They have had her for 4 months and have searched ever since. if the owners cared, they would have found her by now. Especially since Shay is famous online. So if they looked online asking for their dog, I'm sure someone would show them to shays youtube.
I hope Shay explained to the girls that they will have to give up the dog if the owner figures out where their dog went. Don't get me wrong they're doing a great thing because it's a dog that could have been abandoned but just in case, prepare the girls.
You should really take her to the vet, or post found ads, she could be a families LOVED pet, 'She just showed up' could have gotten out, got lost and then ended up there and stayed there because of the other dogs, She had a collar when she showed up didn't she?
It has been months since she showed up (she showed up during the renovation of the house during the summer) No she didnt have a collar. And they have been taking care of her while looking and waiting to see if anyone pops up looking. No one has. Its about time she is given a stable loving home.

And The shaytards and their family go into town all the time, if someone was really looking for her their they would have seen posters or something. Shay said they tried to find an owner. They are doing the right thing by taking care of her. They could have just left her or taken her to the pound... but they didn't. I think taking her in is the right and best thing they could have done.
you know what else could have happened? and the more likely since theyve talked to everyone close by her "LOVING" owners could have dumped her in the middle of nowhere with no shelter at the beginning of winter no food no water no houses for miles.

The shaytards made me realize a lot :) "happiness is a choice" is my motto and it definitely helps me when I'm upset. Shay also encouraged me to stop smoking and start working out and eating healthier. He's just inspired me to do a lot :)
Im 24 from Canada. Shay showed me what a working partnership looks like and the beauty of having children. I never wanted kids because I thought it was lame. Shay and Colette are best friends and believe or not I did not know relationships like that existed. I am now very selective of who I date and hope to find someone who will treat me as well as these guys treat each other.
maybe they're just like ''whatever if the dog has puppies, that will only be fun for the kids etc, let nature do its thing and see what happens'' if thats what they're thinking then thats very irresponsible but it is possible that they just dont care, and they might even keep the puppies :|
Jabba Wabba Yes, because if "blondie" IS pregnant, I don't think they'll be able to handle them. As much money Shay may have, I don't think supporting 5 children, 2 dogs, a cat, a litter of kittens and a litter of puppies is very wise. plus they would have to buy separate food, they'll have to spay and neuter them so they don't go out and bring back more puppies and they'll have a lot of dog poop to clean up. so in terms of time and money it's going to take a toll.
Just a thought, shouldn't you teach them to share and help each other esp when you're all family, instead of "each for themselves?" Same here and also for Emmi, she is just 7 years old and the other 2 girls are gonna be 10. And Brailee has been helping alot even if it doesnt include money. I thought they were being taught that "its the thought that counts" and "team work"! So if the girls made a commitment to get the dog by themselves, then the adults shouldnt butt it! It looked like brailee was going to cry when shay said that she should get the equal amount as Avia, i felt so bad for her!

Why do they just keep buying animals when they don't look after them properly? This dogs chances of dying have now increased by 100%, because none of the old cats or chickens have lived over 3 months 😒 It really pisses me off that they don't respect life
Shay owns one dog, Zeke, who lives in their home, sleeps in their home at night and whom he feeds quite well. Bronx is not Shay's it's Casey's ONE dog whom he owns, feeds, and lets sleeps in their home. BLONDIE! Was not their dog it was a homeless dog who was probably starving and could possibly have died. Shay did not BUY the dog but is taking care of it out of the goodness of his heart. You have no idea how they look after animals being as you don't live with them 24 hours a day 365 days a year, and only see at most 20 minutes of their day. Don't assume things you don't know. Also, the chickens were Shay's moms and they took care of them fine...you can't control a dog (it wasn't shays dog!!) that has a mind of its own if it decides to eat the chickens randomly one night. The mom cat is still alive clearly and the first batch of kittens died because of reasons we do not know. But those cats ARE NOT pets, they are there for the mice alone. Which you probably can't understand but it doesn't make it wrong that they don't treat them as pets...but I do know they feed the cats CLEARLY shown in the videos. And clearly something is being done correctly if the kittens, all 6, that were born at Shay's home are alive and thriving.

All of the animals are in perfect condition and if you only have rude stuff to say don't comment I have a lot of animals too and my dog looks just like Blondie but a tiny bit thinner Zeke looks healthy and so do the cats if there was a problem with their animals the dogs and cats would be long gone but there isn't.
I can't help but wondering, since blondie has a pink color, that's she is definitely a girl. Is she spayed? Since zeke isn't neutered, you might want to get her spayed or Zeke neutered, to prevent puppies. :)

Im working on a way to split each monthly payment i get between petco gift cards(for the birds, food, treats and cage) and amazon(for everything else) so i can get everything by june. i'll have enough for the cage in january and i already bought some toys, perches, and a bath off amazon

call me crazy, but I believe that when someone/something dies they come back in another form, Ive been told my whole life when a person passes away they come back as an animal, for example a butterfly. well, we had to put my dog to sleep a little over 2 weeks before this video was posted, she was a yellow lab, a chubby one at that, and she looked exactly like blondie..and whats even crazier is my parents always said when pets die they go to a "farm upstate" to run around and play, I feel as if my puppy came back as blondie and her farm upstate was your guys's land. and I'm not making any of this up, I just think its crazy how blondie looks so much like my dog.
same here. theres actually a movie about a dog that goes through this and eventually meets his boy(now an old man) again(i got this from the trailer. i dont think it came out yet but this is how i imagine it to be but without the memory part. some kids do remember though they tend to forget by age 10 though there are rare cases where they never forget.
Just some advice about Blondie no hate I think its so good that you've given her a nice warm home but she does really need to lose some weight and I know that you know that she's fat but she could get really ill especially because labradors are know for getting obese and getting I'll from it so I'd just try your hardest to take her on long runs or something everyday and cutting down her food even though shes not getting that much now id just give her like a hand full a day or something you really don't want her getting Ill x

If my siblings did that to me, I would feel VERY disappointed, because when you're the younger child you normally get left out. Although I know it doesn't really matter, it's a dog, but what's the point of, "you get to own this percentage of the dog and you get five percent Emmi." Either way, the dog will be loved. But seriously how could you "own" the dog separately.
Guys, I understand that Shay is teaching them about money and how it works in the real world, but the percentages are stupid! You can't own 5% of a dog. How would that work? I agree with you! Making an effort to find the owners is always the best thing to do. Dogs can travel for miles and be displaced easily. The dog could also go home at one point and the owners might not be too happy.

It has been months since she showed up (she showed up during the renovation of the house during the summer) No she didnt have a collar. And they have been taking care of her while looking and waiting to see if anyone pops up looking. No one has. Its about time she is given a stable loving home.

I think if someone was looking for her they would have noticed. And The shaytards and their family go into town all the time, if someone was really looking for her their they would have seen posters or something. Shay said they tried to find an owner. They are doing the right thing by taking care of her. They could have just left her or taken her to the pound... but they didn't. I think taking her in is the right and best thing they could have done.
you know what else could have happened? and the more likely since theyve talked to everyone close by her "LOVING" owners could have dumped her in the middle of nowhere with no shelter at the beginning of winter no food no water no houses for miles.

The shaytards made me realize a lot :) "happiness is a choice" is my motto and it definitely helps me when I'm upset. Shay also encouraged me to stop smoking and start working out and eating healthier. He's just inspired me to do a lot :)
Im 24 from Canada. Shay showed me what a working partnership looks like and the beauty of having children. I never wanted kids because I thought it was lame. Shay and Colette are best friends and believe or not I did not know relationships like that existed. I am now very selective of who I date and hope to find someone who will treat me as well as these guys treat each other.

As much money Shay may have, I don't think supporting 5 children, 2 dogs, a cat, a litter of kittens and a litter of puppies is very wise. plus they would have to buy separate food, they'll have to spay and neuter them so they don't go out and bring back more puppies and they'll have a lot of dog poop to clean up. so in terms of time and money it's going to take a toll.

Why do they just keep buying animals when they don't look after them properly? This dogs chances of dying have now increased by 100%, because none of the old cats or chickens have lived over 3 months 😒 It really pisses me off that they don't respect life
Shay owns one dog, Zeke, who lives in their home, sleeps in their home at night and whom he feeds quite well. Bronx is not Shay's it's Casey's ONE dog whom he owns, feeds, and lets sleeps in their home. BLONDIE! Was not their dog it was a homeless dog who was probably starving and could possibly have died. Shay did not BUY the dog but is taking care of it out of the goodness of his heart. You have no idea how they look after animals being as you don't live with them 24 hours a day 365 days a year, and only see at most 20 minutes of their day. Don't assume things you don't know. Also, the chickens were Shay's moms and they took care of them fine...you can't control a dog (it wasn't shays dog!!) that has a mind of its own if it decides to eat the chickens randomly one night. The mom cat is still alive clearly and the first batch of kittens died because of reasons we do not know. But those cats ARE NOT pets, they are there for the mice alone. Which you probably can't understand but it doesn't make it wrong that they don't treat them as pets...but I do know they feed the cats CLEARLY shown in the videos. And clearly something is being done correctly if the kittens, all 6, that were born at Shay's home are alive and thriving.

call me crazy, but I believe that when someone/something dies they come back in another form, Ive been told my whole life when a person passes away they come back as an animal, for example a butterfly. well, we had to put my dog to sleep a little over 2 weeks before this video was posted, she was a yellow lab, a chubby one at that, and she looked exactly like blondie..and whats even crazier is my parents always said when pets die they go to a "farm upstate" to run around and play, I feel as if my puppy came back as blondie and her farm upstate was your guys's land. and I'm not making any of this up, I just think its crazy how blondie looks so much like my dog.

Just some advice about Blondie no hate I think its so good that you've given her a nice warm home but she does really need to lose some weight and I know that you know that she's fat but she could get really ill especially because labradors are know for getting obese and getting I'll from it so I'd just try your hardest to take her on long runs or something everyday and cutting down her food even though shes not getting that much now id just give her like a hand full a day or something you really don't want her getting Ill x

If you would've read ALL of what I said, I also said that I wouldn't care if the classic Annie was black and they changed her to white now. I'm not being racial, my point is you shouldn't take a classic movie and try to reinvent it by making the main character black when she was white.
