I am finally becoming a "Barrier Breaker" as I will be the first one in my family to get a College degree, after the age of 50, finally. I was raised with the "Comfortable" or "You are not good enough" mentality. Not only for myself to know I can do it, being a "Barrier Breaker", but also to show my son that he can be one as well no matter what. Thank you Joel for your inspirational words.

I was told by a teacher. I will never have a good life. I laughed in her face. I would not live long being a black female.Here I am a home owner and made it to 60 years old. I also was told by a lady on my job.She is married to a lady.Everyone has their life to live. I don’t go out side and do drugs and live there life style but they laugh and point.And make jokes because I don’t live like that. I thank you Jesus for your blessings and blessings on blessings. I’m going back to college.but they laugh and laugh..But thank you Jesus .My granddaughters are started college this year
God has walked with me from day one...my older brother and I were labeled as children at risk..and that didn't sit well with me...and I told my self from day one..come hell or high water..I will not be a child at risk..at that time I didn't know how I was going to change it..so god guided me..my older brother didn't fare so well..he is a dope fein and a haroine today...it saddens me greatly...but he has made excuses and made so many bad choices in his life..my mother so negative and down rite mean spirited..so god ordained different people throughout my life to guide me...I will break free!!! and I did!!
Be humble, when you get to where you are going, remember to turn around and help the next person. 🙏

God does work in very mysterious ways...so the way I found pastor Osteen was through a Houston tx..rapper name slim thug..secular mainstream rap music..he has a song called chuuch..which features pastor Osteen preaching on the hook of the song..a really deep song for me..cause I myself am striving and struggling to be something great...something I can pass on to my own children...for them to be something awesome in their own way

I came across this rather obsure story of King Hezekiah for the first time just yesterday, after Bible reading for more than 30 years. What are the odds Joel would use him in this message? Amen God! Amen Jesus!!! Amazing. I listen to Pastor Osteen sermons over and over again. I get more from them the more I listen. They make more sense after time. At least they did for me. So if your struggling...keep listening...don't give up...listen to ones that speak to you ..like every day if you need...if you feel is good for you...god tells you to..lol....or more than once a day.....
