My 2 Cents on Love Island 🏝 USA and the Serena story

This show for me is entertainment but I'm a romantic and it's great TV to help through some real life things. It's also probably one of the greatest social experiments outside of Big Brother and back in the day The Real World to grace our TVs.
I follow only one reviewer but peep others because I tend to have a very different take on things.
I also realize the internet has changed.
I'm a Cely and Justine follower of their updates since season 2, and then I'll peep other things.
The hate for Serena is interesting to me, but I think it comes from Kordell being sooo cute and loveable and open. Look at this guy. People don't often like nice guys. I remember
Bergie and the internet. I loved Bergie for being himself, but the internet hate was crazy. So, a big reality of this show is also the importance of looks.
Serena is just being Serena looking for a man's man but ended up with Kordell as there was no one else there that floated her boat, so to speak. She could not deal with his man / boy ways, and it seemed to frustrate the heck out of her.. The comb in the beard... the what seemed to her shallow goals.. This guy is actually an Amazing model off the screen. She doesn't know this. But he's in the villa, and he just likes her, from day 1. No matter what she did. Then he meets Daia she's beautiful and uncomplicated and I'm not mad at him; they just flow.
Kendall has been insecure from day 1, "whose sexy I'm sexy," plays on repeat in my head 🤣🤣🤣but he found someone. He left Nicole in the dance challenge. Nicole took him through the ringer with Miguel... but the internet never came for her. Why is this? She was also crushed when Kendall left her dancing...
Miguel is probably one of my favs cause he is who he is lol
Leah, to me, is not malicious or playing a game and she's hilarious. She admits she needs therapy for liking complicated men.
Aaron, to me, is the most dangerous for Kaylor's mental health; more so than Serena's is for Kordell. He is quite manipulative, and I find him to be emotionally abusive, and he yells a lot, but he's not a person of colour. Kaylor said she would Lorena Bobbit him. This is a reference from my generation, but it's kinda scary. But the internet seems to think this is OK.
I think Kordell has nice guy syndrome, as I said. He can't look bad to anyone... it's good and bad. It's why he brought 2 meals. I don't know if him and Serena will last, but she has soooooo much to let go of: and it's on TV. I think Daia genuinely does like Kordell. But he's grown he has to make a choice.
I also wanted to say Serena and Daia to me are Queens how they speak to one another. Even off the chain, Serena, as hurtful as it is, has never been rachet or rude to Daia. She's a bit unhinged, but this show will help her... whatever the outcome.
Anyhoo, those are my thoughts on the people that matter to me as I watch the sociology paper unfold
