My dad died last year due to Covid issues and her breathing and her eyes looking up so much reminded me of last few hours before he passed away. Im crying so hard I miss you and love you dad he was only 62 . Please don’t take life for granted

I personally wouldn't let my child die. No matter what, I would fight for my childs life. It's just so sad that many kids lose their wills to live because of painful diseases❤❤Some of them deep down could still want to live, but they just want the sickness to go away more

True, but you have to realize that the child is aware that he or she is going to die, they also have a right to make a decision too, everyone's voice matters including children
@@muaddib5079 That's not the only way. Scientist work hard every day to find a cure. And meanwhile their are actual beneficial treatments. no child deserves to die over a disease they don't deserve.
This is a heartbreaking story it reminds me of my dad who passed 12/13/21 I miss him everyday
I was in biology class as a high school junior at 17 years old when I first learned about this disease. My teacher there said that she wants had a 17-year-old student that looked like she was six or eight years old because she suffered from CF and probably not getting enough oxygen going through her whole body caused her stunted growth. She always had to get chest therapy about twice a day where they have to pat her back firmly to help her cough. Also she was on a lung transplant list. She is presumed to be deceased. It’s because the teacher has not heard back from her after having her in her class for some time.

@@aahliana.j I am truly unsure because this happened before I even entered high school that she was attending the biology class with the teacher I wound up having as a junior. She even said she’s not sure but she feels that it might be the case sadly

I'm still unable to answer even after a day after watching this.
Its so damn hard to have to think about this or even come to terms with it but I've had to allow myself to come to terms with that decision because I see my son suffer from this disease everyday he's only 6 years old and the anxiety amd stress he faces when the word Dr is even mention he starts crying the constant poking and prodding done to him to make sure he stays ok the constant pills he's already so sick of it but without the stuff we have now he wouldn't be alive there are so many more advancements right now for cystic fibrosis we do have at home access to lung clearance therapies and medications he's on new medications that are game changing for him but doesn't hide the fact that it's still hard, it's still robbing him or being a normal kid it's robbing us financially big time right now and we're struggling to stay afloat with the bills and groceries. Thank God for my parents idk honestly what ide do without them they are our biggest supporters and help however they are able but financially I don't think I can even give my son a Christmas snd it kills me because after all he goes thro he shouldn't have to wake up disappointed on Christmas morning I'm in tears it breaks my heart. I hate cf and I wish I could have it instead of my son. I hope I'm never faced with this decision but I've had to mentally prepare myself for it but no preparing in the world can ever help you if it happens it just can't.

Now being someone who suffers from cystic fibrosis, this was incredibly hard to watch. My lungs aren't bad as they used to, but they once were before the new drug trials. but now I'm a lot better than i used to be.
On a happier note, Lily's actress did this role so well! My heart broke for her. Thank you, Generation Hope for making this, making Cystic Fibrosis more known through the world.

I was looking for a comment like this, as I was thinking hang on isn't the prognosis of people with cf although treatment etc is ongoing they do live to adulthood plus they can get a lung transplant unless they have B. Cepacia then a transplant isn't possible, so I was wondering if they usually grow into adulthood why is this 8 year old dying 🤔

As far as the story goes maybe it concerns someone who was living in different times isn't this bassed of someone real? Maybe they had other things going on or maybe they weren't doing their treatments idk in glad this are trying to bring awareness but just more detailed and informative

It really sad to lose a loved one! I lost my mom due to cancer last year on February 12th it was also my parents 28th wedding anniversary that day so that makes it even harder on us! I still have my dad at least! We both miss my mom so much!

@@TributeMack2015AngrierMack you know I thank GOD for my sister and brother because now I have a niece and a few nephews and my mom took in 2 kids and they changed my life. My best friend died from a surgery problem and I would be crying and my sister was 6 years old and my brother was 7 and my sister who my mom took in she would hug me now she is 15 and GOD used these kids to help me through the hard times. My nephew was 3 when I was still grieving he was 3 years old and he would hug me and he was so cute. He used to love it when I would play with him because he would smile and laugh and he was so attached to me but he knew I was hurting deep down. I have had so many friends pass away and now with my niece in my life I don't know what I'd do without her.

Awww man this was so hard to watch without crying!!! It’s so hard watching a child go through so much pain and suffering and to see the parents having to endure it as well!! Lilly is so right never take life for granted nor the people that you love!! As a mother myself I would never want to let my child go even if they wanted to it would be so hard for me! But at the same time you don’t want them to suffer to be here just to stay here with you! Because that’s not living it’s actually suffering and it would be selfish!! We don’t ever want the people we love to suffer in pain ! Thankyou Generations Hope for bringing awareness to this medical condition because some like myself was unaware of how bad this condition can be and how it affects the body! My prayers are with many who are dealing with this condition and I pray that one day it will be a cure for it!💕💕💕💕💕🙏🙏🥰

This almost reminds me of my dad. I really miss him. Hospital tried to safe my dad. But knowing he was 70 he couldn't survive what he had. He had a bacteria infection that infected his blood, and his lungs, and when the doctors gave us the sketch of my dads body his lungs were really hard, and crushed and cannot breath without the oxygen machine. He couldn't even open his eyes. This was really a hard decision for me I was like should I let him go or should I keep him. But if I kept him he wouldn't wake up at all, and his body was all red, and swollen. So I had no choice, but to let him go. He'll always be my favorite father. It was really hard at first letting him go because I know my dad he wouldn't want to stay on the hospital bed like a vegetable forever. But I'm being strong for my dad because I know he's in Heaven.

This is really sad and makes me remember of the time at 11 years old I had walking pneumonia it was really had not being able to walk for a while & almost losing my life the scary part was the doctor came in & were saying that out of nowhere my breath was very low. So they had the put the line tube on me helping me breath & another thing I was in the hospital for 5 weeks without eating because of what the doctors were saying I couldn’t not only that but they were taking blood from me 3 times a day. To this day am still Surprised I was able to live especially still with a IV in my arm, the doctors were only giving me water through the IV. Not to mention I had to take medicine for a long time & still to this day so I can relate to being in the hospital. Stay safe out there everyone ❤❤
thats so sad the fact that shes that young and wants to give up was serious... i couldnt id keep fighting and be sefish she dont have to libve with the pai n the parents do i couldnt let my daughters give up... i couldnt imagine the pain they all felt...
