My grandmother is in the early stages of dementia, and she loves my realistic baby dolls but is reaching the point where she's accidentally a little rougher with my very expensive reborns than I'm comfortable with, so I've been looking at AD babies to have around for her to play with when she visits, or take home with her if she wants. I'm especially looking at the interactive ones for her because she wants that response, much like a child would. But it's really helpful to see some box openings and detailed looks at some of the more recently produced dolls. I saw some in person years ago when they were still doing the glued hair, and like you, that really put me off and wouldn't be good for the purpose of cuddling and play at all. Berenguers are also under consideration, as she has one already that she just loves so much, so your videos lately are timed extremely well for me and my family. Thank you! 🥰
I’m glad I could help! Ashton Drake actually has some therapy dolls specifically made for Alzheimer’s and dementia as well. I don’t know how good they are as I’ve never seen those particular dolls in person though.
He is gorgeous i just never got him because i thought his nose looks too big. I like that hes full bodied is that the only Ashton Drake doll thats full body?
The Ashton Drake Charlie I have has black hair and it’s not the best. His vinyl body and hair are also quite sticky is this normal ? He also is a bit darker than your Charlie doll.
