Thank you very much for this Tutorial. I would love to see a tutorial for showing the current Spotify Song that runs through my sonos speaker in the ulanzi clock
@@SmartHomeJunkie oh then i have to have a look again into the manual. I would like that the clock only shows the interpret and titel when Spotify acutally plays a song
@@SmartHomeJunkie the sonos player and radio integration worked out perfectly, thank you very much. but i have issues with the awtrix now playing integration...it doesnt show the interpret or title at all...where do i need to enter the code you provided in the blueprint?
Very good video. Until now I used "Music Assistant" to control my Sonos speakers but this integration is much better and more flexible. Thanks to your tutorial I can get started with this. Thanks for sharing! 👍
Thanks for this! I always wondered how to get radio stations which weren’t on the radio browser already to play on my Sonos speaker, and I now have it working!
Very nice and helpfull video, i installed the first two, radio stations are in my sonos favorites. Is it better to install the buttons for the radio stations like you do in the end of your video?
Great video again SmartHomeJunkie! Just a little question about it. Is it also possible to straight away show your playlists of Spotify? Not that you first have at the upper corner browse media/select Spotify and that you that see your playlist? So for example at your left screen straight away show Spotify? Thanks in advance Ed!
Nice tutroial again. I tried it, but having a problem saving the code in the custom button. It isn't saving it and then of course it is showing nothing. Does it ring a bel :)
Hello! Thanks a lot for this very useful video. I built my initial Sonos dashboard by following your explanations step by step and it was working like a charm....a few weeks ago. However, for whatever reason, the radio, selection in the righmost panel (which I did setup with 3 french public stations) is no longer working. Clicking on any button doesn't do anything now. I checked the radio-browser URLs and they're correct.Any idea of how I dcould debug this. There have been several updates to the Sonos card integration so it might be related, I don't really know, indeed.
Great video, thanks! However, the radio-browser selection made with the custom button does NOT seem to override the media player selected in the Sonos card. Anything, anywhere I can check what I'm doing wrong?
I followed your instruction but could not add the Sonos card. Installing the Mini Media Player solved this. Thanks a lot (again), If you need a new subject: I would love to see an Sonos/Spotify integration.
awesome video once again! i have a issue: when clicking the radio station buttons on the right it only starts playing on the speaker that is "hardcoded" in the button and not the player that is in the middle "playerbox"
Yeah, the radio does that. I created a group of all the speakers and start the radio on all speakers. I know this is not optimal. You can follow the tips in this video to make it better: Boost Your Home Assistant with Smart Speaker Switching ua-cam.com/video/k27p8xBuo5s/v-deo.html
Thanks for the great video. But when I select a radio station, it only plays on the mediaplayer I set in the configuration of the radio card. Do you know what i'm doing wrong?
You are not doing anything wrong. This is what the radio button does unfortunately. I created a group to play the radio on all the speakers, so I noticed this too late. You can follow the tips on this video to fix it (sort of): Boost Your Home Assistant with Smart Speaker Switching ua-cam.com/video/k27p8xBuo5s/v-deo.html
Am i correct in understanding there is no way to actually control the songs inside a playlist? when i start a playlist from sonos favorites i cant choose a song on a list but i can only start from the first and listen in numerical order or use the forward button for next song
Thnx for the nice tutorial! The integration looks nice but I'm still not sure why you would have all your favorites (on the left) and also all you favorites in card form on the right. Then unfortunately no nice song image or radio station image is shown while playing a stream, only a default 3-music notes image is displayed which doesn't make clear what radio station you have chosen, I don't know if this is something I didn't do right while configuring since you have a nice image of the song the artist playing. Volume control is also not that great as controlling the volume with the volume buttons of your phone in the SONOS app. For now I think the integration still needs some updates 😅
@@SmartHomeJunkie Found the volume buttons, thnx! 🙂 Any thoughts about the missing chosen channel image? And you are right, its a nice integration and "Goed werk heeft tijd nodig" 😉
There are a couple of enhancements this integration needs improved and that’s support for the playing list on each speaker (I’ve tinkered with a solution that could be fleshed out to do this via another tool) and secondly, support for stereo pairs (which this doesn’t handle particularly well. Would anyone like to collaborate with the developers and myself to get this a one stop tool for Sonos control without needing to go anywhere near apps outside the ecosystem of HA?
i try to follow this tutorial, but it doesn't work here. when i add the sonos in the devices, and add the sonos card in HACS, and i try to add a dashboard the only thing i see is one radiostation. i can not add a screenshot here, so hope you understand what i mean

Great video. I know it’s a bit of a minefield but you flashed your tablet at the end, a video about your preferred tablet device and setup?
I'm still planning to create a full length tutorial of my tablet dashboard. I use a Fire Tablet 10, but I wouldn't recommend it. It's slow.
@@SmartHomeJunkie yes the ideal tablet seems to be the final frontier in the HA world

I don't think you can using this card.
I can help with the Playlist support as I’ve implemented these as shortcuts on the cards for each media player
