Pay attention how the tuner pegs are positioned in the headstock. They are slightly off making the string not allign from the tuner to the nut. That is something nobody talks about and which Kiesel has to change. I discovered this with my Kiesel DC700. It caused tuning problems.
Next is the nut. Is it cut properly? It can happen that one or few strings are cut too deep or too high.
Next are the frets? Is it levelled properly. Especially in the highest region the fret height tend to be a bit higher causing buzzing problems.

Man I'm so sorry that happened. If it was ordered through the builder it could be a glitch but I have several builds with them and always call in and talk to a sales guy so I can make sure everything is correct. I've had a few where I've forgotten certain things but Kiesel will make it right once it gets figured out and also next time maybe ask to make sure burst is written on the tag cuz it seems like they forgot the Cali burst and antique ash codes on the sheet. Again so sorry it wasn't right but they have always been amazing in helping me in my 14 builds with them.
You were going to give us a follow-up on The Sire S7. problem you were having. In all honesty I wasn't very sympathetic. many guitar players will never see the routing on their guitar I got curious because I really didn't want to remove the screws. my routing was smoother than yours but it wasn't perfect. in my case I really couldn't care at all but that's me. I haven't bought a lot of guitars so I don't know what to expect.
but what I am curious about his did you get satisfaction in the end?. I had a problem with my tremolo bar coming loose too frequently. they sort went above and beyond for me and they replaced the entire tremolo unit. not only that they paid for it complete deluxe set up at guitar center.. Which was absolutely awesome. not only does my whammy bar not come loose but the guitar has become professionally tuned..
Afterwards I took apart the old tremolo and realize they could have send me for just a few pennies a little plastic sleeve or the brass sleeve that holds the plastic sleeve and it would have cost them less than a dollar.

@@RafsGearReviews I’m probably just missing your posting by hours. I’ll keep an eye out for it. I looked at your review again. I was surprised this time to notice that you had bad luck with the frets. Every single review I have seen on the S7 praises the quality of the rounded frets. Mine were also perfect. Although my level of experience isn’t a good gauge.

I have never owned a Kiesel but it seems they produce problems and reason for complaints at a very high level.

Get a box cutter with the limited depth blade. You don't need cuts to go with the broken parts..

So what was the verdict with the specs? I love it the way it is, but Cali Burst and Antique Ash would make for a completely different look, so if that's what I ordered, that's what I would want. I've had great experiences so far with my Kiesels with one exception. I've got 3 newer ones (and an older Carvin) currently that are flawless. I did order an Ultra V last year that had some kind of an issue with the Floyd not staying in tune, but I also had quite a bit of buyers remorse having nothing to do with them, and they were amazingly responsive and paid for me to ship it back, and then ended up giving me a full refund when I decided I didn't want it back. They couldn't actually find anything wrong with the tuning stability or the bridge, but still didn't even question my decision. I ended up putting the money right back into one of my current Kiesel builds and I'm very happy with the whole outcome.
Cool video! I have a Kiesel Carvin Jason Becker model and these are great top quality guitars. I think you get alot more for your money with a Kiesel than Gibson or Fender and they're pretty much all custom.
Which model do you have? I have the JB200C, got it back in August 2021 and it is totally awesome, the best guitar i ever owned!
@@Joop5000 I have the sapphire blue Jason Becker Tribute based on the JB200. It's a great guitar one of my favorites, maybe the favorite but I have a Kramer Pacer I bought in 1982 and it's American made and customized and the Kiesel JB is the first one I've liked as good.
Wow, that's beautiful! I had a Kiesel (Carvin) back in the early 90's and it was a really nice guitar. I should have kept it. It was a DC127 or something like that. I hope your finger got better.

When will the time be right? After you slice off three of your fingers? I hope it gets resolved for your buddy.
Slicing my fingers is definitely my top priority. Lol. I am healing faster than expected. Hopefully in 2 weeks time I'll do a full playthrough and have a response on what Kiesel said.

Who knows when the time will be right? A box cutter is an important purchase, just like purchasing the right guitar, right vehicle, right home. You can't just rush into a dscision right away.

It's super interesting I found this video. My Osiris came in just now and this almost happened to me with my build. Thankfully they asked me in email to be sure I wanted the antique ash on the back and sides, because something glitched with the builder and the California build package they were doing earlier this year.
