The worst bug for me is actually a fixed bug... We can no longer get out companions to spawn inside the house. I don't understand why they've fixed that, everyone was happy about it
@@Fellefan my thoughts exactly, unless they thought this could be potentially the reason why we were getting crashes (even though it was a thing before the crashes), I hope they reintroduce it
Another bug is if you have gold in your bar for fast running and surfing and switch from surfing back to running sometimes you'll run slow like your bar isn't full (gold). You have to briefly surf again and then will start fast running like intended.
Not being able to buy more premium and star path items is definitely one of the most "first world problem" bugs in the game, but it's still super frustrating when you have an idea for a new item and can't do anything about it. 😔
It is possible to get locked out of the 13th birthday cake memory. The cakes can spawn in the invisible maze area in Moana's realm. All 4 of my cakes are there, and since I've already completed the rainbow fox quests, I can't access them. Fortunately, I've already completed that memory, but others may not be so lucky.
I'm very unlucky then because I only need one more memory to get the last two pets but three are stuck in the maze that I can not access and the other one is stuck in a cupboard in remy's 😭
I play on PS5 and I don't really have anything decorated except for my plaza and I experience no crashing. so I agree, it has something to do with the amount of items you have placed. really hope they fix this for those who enjoy having everything decorated 🙏
I agree. Ive always kept my valley pretty empty, but if I’m gone for a while it still gets incredibly glitchy. Once I start cleaning up a couple biomes it gets better almost instantly
I am the opposite problem. I barely have anything decorated and I have removed alot of the basic items and I still crash on PS5. I usually freeze first and then it never comes back and I have to refersh.
Its not perse because of the items because i play on ps5 and have more then 4000 items in my valley and i only crashed once after the update on a loading screen when i tried multiplayer. Before the update i have not crashed in months and i play a lot
I have all my cakes stuck in the water in Moanas realm. Hope they fix it soon. Also i dont know if you knew this but i figured out a few days ago that the Bumblestone pathway actually goes under Gastons house, where the rest of the paths do not. I was happy because it just looks weird when the path way does not come right up to the house lol.
I have all my cakes in Moana's realm in the area where potato quest stuff was and where I can't access now. So currently I can't complete one of the tasks... I hope they fix this soon!
I found a Memory stuck in the door..1/2 way in 1/2 way out... at McDucks store lol. impossible to retrieve. but still, i got to 138 memories today, just started to pick them up yest morn. ty for all this good info.
I hate to be negative but I feel like they don't test the updates before releasing them. Some bugs are really easy to catch and other bugs like the ones in Character quests or realms are easy to find too. That would fix so many things even if the update takes a bit longer to release
They do test bugs will find their way in to games no matter how many times they test. Games who uppdates often have a higher chanse to get bugs. They can not stop uppdates eighter.

The bugs are going to get worse every update. Not being able to buy from the scrooge shop at all is pretty bad...not sure how that was even overlooked. Tells me they're rushing to push out updates even though they're behind....the more you add to a game the harder it gets to debug, as messing with the code can create a butterfly effect of never-ending breaks in the game. I've seen entire games be scrapped and rebuilt because the devs couldn't fix the bug without completely rewriting the code.
Fantastic video thank you. This isn’t a bug as it was in patch notes but I see nobody really making a video about how bad it is probably because a lot of people on UA-cam are on pc so this does not effect them at all but as a console player the new furniture mode change is so bad. It’s slow and restricts movement significantly. What would usually take me 1 hour to decorate now takes at least double that time so decorating for dreamsnaps EVERY WEEK is a chore and it’s frustrating. I would love them to at least have some immediate improvements like increasing the sensitivity and eventually reverting the feature back and having the “slow” mode as an option for people to toggle if they wish
It did take me over 200 orbs to get my pink memory completed and get the companion. I wasn't completely sure I was ever going to get it. However, it finally happened today well after I completed the memorabilia achievement. I hadn't started counting pink orbs until after I had opened dozens of them and I stopped counting at 150. So basically, hang in there. It'll eventually come. It just may be tedious and mind-numbingly long, but eventually it will give you your last piece of the puzzle.
Im on switch and it does crash but its honestly not that often and i have definitely seen improvement. I am also a sims player though so i am used to excessive crashing and ddv is wayyyy less likely to crash

Mrstarinsky digging holes to make a veggie garden counts as a item for the item count limit. That doesn't make any sense to me at all. It will probably never will. Plus I hope they fix the crashing issue once and for all. Instead of not.
Yeah, holes count as objects. But path and fences doesn't! So you can decorate a lot without consuming you object limit counter! Better save "slots" for farming or for useful items. (Like chests, cooking stations, crafting stations)
Thank you for this. For the Dreamsnap issue with Daisy's Boutique I only removed TOM from the mannequins that display in the windows instead of moving the building itself and I was able to submit the Dreamsnap. (I'm on the Nintendo Switch.)
The character missing glitch is so annoying. Yesterday I needed to find Beast to have a daily convo to finish up my Star Path duties and he was no where to be seen on the map. I tried going to his castle, went in and out 5 times and kept looking at the map. He never showed on the map. Sometimes if you go to the character list on the left of the map and turn that villager off and back on, they will then spawn on the map. But nothing I tried worked to get Beast yesterday. Finally after trying all day long, I decided to go to EI and again, he wasn’t on the map. But when I turned his character off then on again he actually finally spawned in EI. Talk about crazy glitch 😢
I can't believe they've gone the whole entire week with the "Not Allowed" furniture glitch. It really messes up Dreamsnaps and now it might even carry over into next week's too. Crazy!
My game has always had the villager not being in their house bug lol😭 it just got worse. Also THANK U The touch of magic glitch was pissing me off so bad last night!!!

I really do hope they fix Scrooges Store soon. Luckily I am a hoarder 😅 so I have enough items of the previous star path/premium shop but I would really like to stock up on the new ones 😆
Switch user here. I think I've found a workaround to help with my Switch crashing so much. Before I play I do a hard restart on my Switch (hold the power button down for 3 seconds, force a restart). This has helped take my crashes down from like four times a session to maybe 1 time when I'm not lucky. The update has definitely helped, I can tell. Sometimes when the rain would start or stop, it would crash my game. It's not doing that now, so I'm happy for it. Overall though, the hard restart seems to be the way to go for me.
Tnx for sharing about the bugs. I also go in and out and in house again if character isn’t there and 95% of time it works. Yesterday I needed stitch for my dreamsnap and I went in and out of his house 10 times. No stitch. He was allowed on my map. Fortunately my game crashed and when I reloaded I found him 😅.
I'm on switch. I decorate my valley in a very simple way, wide spaces, fences and paths, just the amount of trees I need for farming wood and copies of the same object when I can instead of multiple variations of the same object, picnic tables instead of table+chairs. Also I use to remove the set for DreamSnaps once the week is end. Before the last update it never crashed. Now it does. For me the crash is also for the season, in summer it crush a lot even with games that never crashed in other seasons. But this new crash is different, all the game gets stuck always when I'm about to start or end a quest. Always when I talk to the character who I'm doing the quest for. Also the other crashes was like: all stuck, I try to click something and it immediately say "the game stop working" and it close the game. And this is 100% (for me) my console burning for the hot water. And this can be fixed. But with this new crash I must restart the console to exit. Also when it stuck decorating (if you decorate for hours when you exit the game loads forever, you can stay 2 days watching the screen and it will never finish loading.) I can still exit the game and end the program. But with this new one I can't, it's like the whole console get stuck. I can only reset it. It's crazy!
I thought I was getting no pieces going to the companions. The next day I had all the companions when I logged in. Maybe they just didn’t show up when I got them. Suddenly I went from one to four.
This is why sadly as a switch player I removed almost the entirety of my decorations and furniture items from my entire valley to Lower my object limit.... my game runs much smoother than most all other switch players I know. And yes, I still have crashes and freezes that lead to shut down - but not NEARLY as many as others. Meanwhile, the new furniture mode for decorating outside is SO terrible that I don't even want to do dreamsnaps anymore... and the only week I've ever missed was the week after my switch had literally been stollen. The new locked cursor makes me so sick dealing with the motion that it breaks my heart
Thanks for the video. It took my daughter 3 days to get the pets from the Inside Out event and it took me 2 days to get the pets. Now we are both working on the 200 achievements.
MrStarInSky I’ve been experiencing 3 out of 5 bugs you’ve mentioned…map issues, Scrooge store issues, and crashes 🫤 and I hope to never experience the tom dreamsnap bug and inside out fragment bug! I’m on Switch and other bugs I’m dealing with are lights being off in valley/houses when it’s suppose to be on and ruining lighting, items becoming missing from my inventory when I remove them and go to place it somewhere else, items not being able to be removed once placed because stuff placed on it can’t be removed, lagging/freezing in multiplayer mode, and new camera/furniture mode is horrible and very difficult to decorate/do dreamsnaps on Switch 😐. Let’s hope a hot fix comes sooner vs later and actually addresses the past issues still happening as well as new ones!🤞🏻🎮
So the button we use to banish them I wish we could just click on them and it would lead us to them. Cuz I have that issue a lot when they don't show up when they are supposed to.
Holy cow! YESSS I have an Xbox series S and mine crashes literally every 5 minutes! (Before it auto saves!) The update didn't solve that for me! I may try to remove some items and test that out! Thank you!!! 🙏 😊
I had near unplayable level of crashing on Xbox series s last update. Keeping low unique item limit seemed to help a lot. Luckily my valley isn't decorated so I could do that. Much harder for ppl that have invested a lot of time into decorating. However good tips on options to help reduce
Are you saying Daisy's boutique is causing problems? I haven't haf any problems so far. I have a problem with Mulan not wanting to take the weights (that got her up the pole)
Mine lost moonstones 2 days in a row. I go to bed with 1300 moonstone logged in next morning down to 900. Next day lost more again. And mushu program question is stuck now too and my shop was triggering my dreamsnap. It took me forever to figure it out
Not sure if this is a bug as well but since the update I have flowers and spices spawning in places I have path layed down. I have to relay all my pathing after removing the spawns
I play on Playstation5 and the new bug is I cant scroll through collections, so have to google where items are or find characters for their favourite gifts 😫
Mulan's Shadow Theatre quest is bugged for some players. I've been struggling to continue on with Mulan's quest and she's nearly on level 10 and I can't do any other quest of hers
I'm stuck on Mushu's friendship quest with an annoying bug. I got to where I have to destroy the Old Furniture, but didn't know I had to use my pickaxe so I removed them from the furniture menu. Now I can't figure out how to place them back down or buy replicas from Scrooge.
I have a pink that has been stuck under a cabinet in Remy’s realm and it will not spawn any more pink memories at all and I need one more to finish the picture and to collect the item you get from it and completing all memories.
Another bug that I've noticed is that my paths in Eternity Isle (I don't have any in the main valley) are all broken. There's path missing here and there. Going into furniture mode, I can click on it but some spots are invisible.
One of my areas in ei I have decorated with paths is the promenade, and part of my path is invisible, so I took it out until they decide to fix the issue.
I had a birthday cake spawn somewhere in the sea in Moana's realm, no way to access it. I actually wish that the spawn rate for memories (not only Inside Out 2) would have gone up, also by picking up the Inside Out 2 memories.
for the touch of magic bug its not just the daisy boutique! I got the warning when I was on the beach with a non- touch of magic item (the pile of leaves carpet) the store was no where near me.
Star i don't know if i missed it or not in the video but the night thorns are glitched in my game too i don't know if that's for anyone else's but i can't claim the duty and earn the platinum and I've noticed i haven't played since the last star path and i have NO thorns on my map like what is going on!?
i wanted to buy another regal side side table i could not get it but lucky i got the oswald version of it out of a chest i needed a nice one square item to put an object on also mouse stuck in middle of the screen
I had that ToM message come up for me and my Daisy boutique is in the plaza and I was also on dazzle beach. I don't use ToM items so I was confused. Had to move my shot to a different location.

The new furniture mode with the grabbing hand/cursor placed always in the middle of the screen gives problems. I had Ariel and Donald’s house into the sea at dazzle beach and I can not reach them anymore in furniture mode. This is because the cursor is now in the middle and I can not grab the houses at the most far away point into the sea. I only place those houses nearer to the beach when I need to go inside for a quest. I wrote to Gameloft and they will look into it. In the meantime I went to eternity island and get into furniture mode and tap on ,,house,, I took Ariel and Donald’s house to place there. Then I went back to the valley to dazzle beach and again furniture mode, house, and brought them Back to the sea at the beach but closer to the coast. That was the only way to grab the houses into the water.
My old xbox is fine i get crashing with the fair ground so i take that out its all good now, im nearly maxed out on my deco, i put my pumkins in eternity isle.
Hey there's something wrong with my game so the inside out of vent something's wrong with it I was planning event yesterday and the memories won't shown app and I fall out in my it might be I have to wait till tomorrow and it's and I wait and then the memory still won't show app so I hope there's some there's something to fix this if not I'm gonna cry because I like the new inside out movie😢
I stopped playing last update due to constant crashes every 2 to 5 minutes. After over a month I’m back and nothing changed. By the way I play on Xbox. I can’t understand why before previous update my game was running perfectly with twice of the amount of items and houses I have now, while now it’s just impossible to play.
I just really need cloud save to be fxed. :( I have two computers, and I can only play on my laptop now, but my other one is so much better. It havent worked for at least a month now.
hearing that the game works the worst on xbox s which is exactly my console is both funny and sad 😂 I mean I know this isn't the newest model, dreamsnaps don't have the highest quality, you cannot blur the background in dreamsnaps but at least it shouldn't be that bugged. luckily, I hadn't had very many bugs in my case so I'm happy! I don't know if it should be considered a bug or not - but I tried to use the trick with TOM items made invisible to lock companions for dreamsnaps, and maybe it works only for critters bcs as soon as I toggled the switch and my chairs turned invisible, Stitch acted like they were never there and walked through them 😂 so maybe it works only for critters after all 😂
@@mrStarInSky The Xbox Series S and Series X where released at the same time. The only difference is the built-in components, similar to the PS5 and PS5 digital version.
I’ve heard that most of the people experiencing crashes on the Xbox series x is most likely they have the game through cloud and not an actual download of the game once they downloaded the game to there software they had no more crashes
I play on switch light and for months I have been having the problem villagers stuck at work,villagers stuck in restaurant and I did let Gameloft no of this problem and they game me a list of things to try and nothing has worked for this problem unless I go into any building and sometimes it lets them out,in my opinion this is a big problem with my game.I don’t think they beta test there updates and patches before putting them out.I was a beta tester for Big fish,Game house years ago and this game would have never gone out with all these problems until they were fixed,and this game has people quitting because it is frustrating for some to play,for some it is anxiety and headaches so they quit and that is not good business 😔This company is going to loose money ,another reason some are not purchasing the new add ons that have come out because they all have several glitches for some people,so Gameloft there goes your money😧

There are a lot of reeds and lilypads in the lakes that can be removed to reduce the item limits, too. That's what I did on the Switch.

Mine have spawned underneath the counters at remys too. Also cant get them too 😭
I got one trophy stuck on a barrier rope out of bounds. I'm locked out of that one memory 😢

Sometimes when the rain would start or stop, it would crash my game. It's not doing that now, so I'm happy for it. Overall though, the hard restart seems to be the way to go for me.

Tnx for sharing about the bugs. I also go in and out and in house again if character isn’t there and 95% of time it works. Yesterday I needed stitch for my dreamsnap and I went in and out of his house 10 times. No stitch. He was allowed on my map. Fortunately my game crashed and when I reloaded I found him 😅.
Clearing the cache reduced my crash amount significantly. Maybe once an hour and I’m a little over 2000 on the bottom top number.
I'm on switch. I decorate my valley in a very simple way, wide spaces, fences and paths, just the amount of trees I need for farming wood and copies of the same object when I can instead of multiple variations of the same object, picnic tables instead of table+chairs. Also I use to remove the set for DreamSnaps once the week is end. Before the last update it never crashed. Now it does. For me the crash is also for the season, in summer it crush a lot even with games that never crashed in other seasons. But this new crash is different, all the game gets stuck always when I'm about to start or end a quest. Always when I talk to the character who I'm doing the quest for. Also the other crashes was like: all stuck, I try to click something and it immediately say "the game stop working" and it close the game. And this is 100% (for me) my console burning for the hot water. And this can be fixed. But with this new crash I must restart the console to exit. Also when it stuck decorating (if you decorate for hours when you exit the game loads forever, you can stay 2 days watching the screen and it will never finish loading.) I can still exit the game and end the program. But with this new one I can't, it's like the whole console get stuck. I can only reset it. It's crazy!
I thought I was getting no pieces going to the companions. The next day I had all the companions when I logged in. Maybe they just didn’t show up when I got them. Suddenly I went from one to four.
One thing I noticed tonight too that's still a bug - the lights not turning on automatically at night. I hope they eventually fix that.

This is why sadly as a switch player I removed almost the entirety of my decorations and furniture items from my entire valley to Lower my object limit.... my game runs much smoother than most all other switch players I know. And yes, I still have crashes and freezes that lead to shut down - but not NEARLY as many as others. Meanwhile, the new furniture mode for decorating outside is SO terrible that I don't even want to do dreamsnaps anymore... and the only week I've ever missed was the week after my switch had literally been stollen. The new locked cursor makes me so sick dealing with the motion that it breaks my heart
Thanks for the video. It took my daughter 3 days to get the pets from the Inside Out event and it took me 2 days to get the pets. Now we are both working on the 200 achievements.
MrStarInSky I’ve been experiencing 3 out of 5 bugs you’ve mentioned…map issues, Scrooge store issues, and crashes 🫤 and I hope to never experience the tom dreamsnap bug and inside out fragment bug!
I’m on Switch and other bugs I’m dealing with are lights being off in valley/houses when it’s suppose to be on and ruining lighting, items becoming missing from my inventory when I remove them and go to place it somewhere else, items not being able to be removed once placed because stuff placed on it can’t be removed, lagging/freezing in multiplayer mode, and new camera/furniture mode is horrible and very difficult to decorate/do dreamsnaps on Switch 😐. Let’s hope a hot fix comes sooner vs later and actually addresses the past issues still happening as well as new ones!🤞🏻🎮

So the button we use to banish them I wish we could just click on them and it would lead us to them. Cuz I have that issue a lot when they don't show up when they are supposed to.

Holy cow! YESSS I have an Xbox series S and mine crashes literally every 5 minutes! (Before it auto saves!) The update didn't solve that for me! I may try to remove some items and test that out! Thank you!!! 🙏 😊
I had near unplayable level of crashing on Xbox series s last update. Keeping low unique item limit seemed to help a lot. Luckily my valley isn't decorated so I could do that. Much harder for ppl that have invested a lot of time into decorating. However good tips on options to help reduce
The characters on my map on either the Isle or Valley are almost never where the icon shows them! 😅 I spend a lot of time chasing villagers around!

I have a fun bug where parts of the Wild Tangle won't let me dig/place items. and a few squares in it have lil "invisible walls"
Mine lost moonstones 2 days in a row. I go to bed with 1300 moonstone logged in next morning down to 900. Next day lost more again. And mushu program question is stuck now too and my shop was triggering my dreamsnap. It took me forever to figure it out
This Dreamsnap bug is definitely driving me batty.
Not sure if this is a bug as well but since the update I have flowers and spices spawning in places I have path layed down. I have to relay all my pathing after removing the spawns

You can also turn down your graphics settings to help with game stability/crashing.
I think it only works on Pc and not on all consoles unfortunately

Mulan's Shadow Theatre quest is bugged for some players. I've been struggling to continue on with Mulan's quest and she's nearly on level 10 and I can't do any other quest of hers
I'm stuck on Mushu's friendship quest with an annoying bug. I got to where I have to destroy the Old Furniture, but didn't know I had to use my pickaxe so I removed them from the furniture menu. Now I can't figure out how to place them back down or buy replicas from Scrooge.
I have a pink that has been stuck under a cabinet in Remy’s realm and it will not spawn any more pink memories at all and I need one more to finish the picture and to collect the item you get from it and completing all memories.
I'm getting glitches with shoes. It turns my legs different colors and gives lines up the legs as well...
Another bug that I've noticed is that my paths in Eternity Isle (I don't have any in the main valley) are all broken. There's path missing here and there. Going into furniture mode, I can click on it but some spots are invisible.
One of my areas in ei I have decorated with paths is the promenade, and part of my path is invisible, so I took it out until they decide to fix the issue.

I had a birthday cake spawn somewhere in the sea in Moana's realm, no way to access it.
I actually wish that the spawn rate for memories (not only Inside Out 2) would have gone up, also by picking up the Inside Out 2 memories.
I play on switch & after your last video about bug I have changed the way I play I now with it docked not hand held & it does crash at all

for the touch of magic bug its not just the daisy boutique! I got the warning when I was on the beach with a non- touch of magic item (the pile of leaves carpet) the store was no where near me.
Same! I was nowhere near the Daisy boutique and I still kept getting that bug.
Not gonna. My Switch was working fine before the hotfix. And the update fixed it a bit. I can wait. It’s not too bad
Star i don't know if i missed it or not in the video but the night thorns are glitched in my game too i don't know if that's for anyone else's but i can't claim the duty and earn the platinum and I've noticed i haven't played since the last star path and i have NO thorns on my map like what is going on!?

I thought it was just me with the inside out quest! I have a cake stuck beyond the invisible wall in the moana realm. Very frustrating.

I had that ToM message come up for me and my Daisy boutique is in the plaza and I was also on dazzle beach. I don't use ToM items so I was confused. Had to move my shot to a different location.

The new furniture mode with the grabbing hand/cursor placed always in the middle of the screen gives problems.
I had Ariel and Donald’s house into the sea at dazzle beach and I can not reach them anymore in furniture mode.
This is because the cursor is now in the middle and I can not grab the houses at the most far away point into the sea.
I only place those houses nearer to the beach when I need to go inside for a quest.
I wrote to Gameloft and they will look into it.
In the meantime I went to eternity island and get into furniture mode and tap on ,,house,,
I took Ariel and Donald’s house to place there.
Then I went back to the valley to dazzle beach and again furniture mode, house, and brought them Back to the sea at the beach but closer to the coast.
That was the only way to grab the houses into the water.
My old xbox is fine i get crashing with the fair ground so i take that out its all good now, im nearly maxed out on my deco, i put my pumkins in eternity isle.
Past two days I can’t hangout with Mushu.
Right now the only bug I have is the store and it is driving me nuts.
Still crashing but not like before but I keep softlocking now all the time

Hey there's something wrong with my game so the inside out of vent something's wrong with it I was planning event yesterday and the memories won't shown app and I fall out in my it might be I have to wait till tomorrow and it's and I wait and then the memory still won't show app so I hope there's some there's something to fix this if not I'm gonna cry because I like the new inside out movie😢

I can’t understand why before previous update my game was running perfectly with twice of the amount of items and houses I have now, while now it’s just impossible to play.

My steam deck has been crashing recently and I never used to have a problem
I'm on Xbox s and I was able to fix most of my crashing by removing Attractions and Extra houses
I just really need cloud save to be fxed. :( I have two computers, and I can only play on my laptop now, but my other one is so much better. It havent worked for at least a month now.
hearing that the game works the worst on xbox s which is exactly my console is both funny and sad 😂 I mean I know this isn't the newest model, dreamsnaps don't have the highest quality, you cannot blur the background in dreamsnaps but at least it shouldn't be that bugged. luckily, I hadn't had very many bugs in my case so I'm happy!
I don't know if it should be considered a bug or not - but I tried to use the trick with TOM items made invisible to lock companions for dreamsnaps, and maybe it works only for critters bcs as soon as I toggled the switch and my chairs turned invisible, Stitch acted like they were never there and walked through them 😂 so maybe it works only for critters after all 😂
I dont mind getting coins , I just wish it would stop throwing them over my head so that I have to chase it

I think he meant Xbox One because I play on Xbox Series S, which is the newer version of Xbox, and I don't have those crashes.

@@mrStarInSky The Xbox Series S and Series X where released at the same time. The only difference is the built-in components, similar to the PS5 and PS5 digital version.
I’ve heard that most of the people experiencing crashes on the Xbox series x is most likely they have the game through cloud and not an actual download of the game once they downloaded the game to there software they had no more crashes
I play on switch light and for months I have been having the problem villagers stuck at work,villagers stuck in restaurant and I did let Gameloft no of this problem and they game me a list of things to try and nothing has worked for this problem unless I go into any building and sometimes it lets them out,in my opinion this is a big problem with my game.I don’t think they beta test there updates and patches before putting them out.I was a beta tester for Big fish,Game house years ago and this game would have never gone out with all these problems until they were fixed,and this game has people quitting because it is frustrating for some to play,for some it is anxiety and headaches so they quit and that is not good business 😔This company is going to loose money ,another reason some are not purchasing the new add ons that have come out because they all have several glitches for some people,so Gameloft there goes your money😧
