hi, if i wear an 8.5W/7Y/EU40 in nike, could i wear a 39.5EU in some high top maisons? i also wear an 8 in womens. on the site i’m buying from, it’s saying a 39.5EU is like a 9 in womens so i’m just highly confused & i don’t want to buy a shoe that’s too big for me. i’m trying to get them today & i’m so glad i came across your video

So a size 40 would convert to size 7 US, so the sneakers may not even fit you, so if you could try them on before you buy, that’d be your best bet

@@pitardaboom6042 Naa I have both size 40 and size 41 margielas. imo the size 40 is too snug for a US 8 men so size 41 actually feels better to wear

So I sold them while they were in good condition. But for the price, it’s a pretty high quality sneaker. And if you take good care of it, it could last many years

I did not spray it, but they do work well so you could definitely use it!!!

Ooouuu I would say be careful going up a whole size, if you’re willing to wear a little larger sneaker than that's fine. You might wanna find a store with the sneakers, try them on, then you can order online for a better price!! best of luck 🤞

Try a size 44 I had a 43 and it would be a little tight cause if the shoe and how it’s formed and a 44 is more comfortable for my feet

You could always give that a try, but it is a relatively thin footed sneaker. I would recommend buying them in person so you could get the right size 👍🏻

Yes 👍🏻, it may be a slim fit if you have a really wide foot but you should be good!! I have an average size foot and it fit perfectly

Lol very good question, the name of the sneaker is the Replica. They are authentic Margiela but that’s the name, kinda weird name haha
it’s because it’s a replica of german army shoes, in margiela’s own way

They are called replica in reference to the sneakers replicating the original German army trainer. The word “Replica” is seen all throughout the brand because Maison Margiela has an overarching theme of replicating.
Martin was fascinated by bringing the history of garments and designs back in often the exact same way. There are entire collections that were made by recreating, thus replicating vintage garments that are rare in find but common in use back in the day.
We can also see it in the fragrance line, which is based on recreating certain moments and their sentiments through scent. All named in reference to such;
“Beach walk”,
“At the barbershop”,
“Under the lemon tree” etc.
It’s really interesting. Bliss Foster has a lot of videos about Margiela if you’re interested.

Eeeeshh definitely be careful with that. If it’s a good deal I doubt it’s real but it definitely could be.
Always be sure that the description and title explains that it is authentic, that way eBay will protect you if it is not authentic!!!
