I gotta say, this dude is humble and seems very friendly. I hope the scene in MI never changes. It's different from the SoCal scene; in a more wholesome way. Everyone is in it to progress it instead of having unhealthy competitions.
Love this, everyone out here is in it together. Willing to help out and learn from each other. We don’t have a lot of dunes, but the people we have are what makes it special
Well the TTB SYSTEM is pretty much is this suspension setup only difference is the 4wd and a couple inches less of travel but just as bad ass it's a very good a trade off u might loose a 2 or 3 inches but your gaining 4wd
In another video I saw it and was like, "How has this turbo'd, beamed, Explorer with a Raptor clip not been in a Built to Destroy video?!" Then wham! You guys finally dropped the video. Good stuff. Your channel alone has inspired me to start a build. Got a welder and a Ranger the other day. Maybe ill have something to show next year lol
Loved my 4x4 exploder. Never used the broken 4wheel and hardly ever got stuck. Old gutted I beems with limit straps and huge springs worked for a few years of good hucks
This guy has got it right in my books, I would spend my coin to copy this set up. I need the rear seats, the inside is another work of art. Best Explorer I have seen to date and there are some nice ones out there.
I just got hooked on Steelit and new colours coming from what my supplier told me, nothing flashy just black's, greys, and that steering wheel reminds me of old vintage car steer wheels. Every bit has been put together with a lot of thought, Here take my money, not worried it is just two wheel drive being a 4x4 guy this SUV works, so smooth on the landings an masterpiece, don't change it.
Dame guy! Killer truck brother. I'm blown away that you took the time and have the drive to make such a clean rig even though your so far from the SW I really hope to see you and your truck at an event out hear... The people and the area we have to rip through are so great! If you can roll out ill cover your drinks for a day! Like a MORE race in Barstow. Or Score Race in Vages or Laflen
Hey man that's a awesome explorer I have a 1995 Ford explorer sport 4x4 5 speed with the 4.0 and hope to put a 5.0 in it some day . I still want to keep the 4wd in it to. Great work on your explorer!!!
It'd be cool to see a 65-66 f100 prerunner in action. I know you guys showed the one at Robs shop but it just sat in the shop... not very exciting. I'm doing a 66 f100 build and would love to actually see one tearing it up in the dirt and see how it was built for some inspiration. Great video guys, thanks.
Shout out to the Homies in Michigan(Home State)!!!! loveing the videos guys, can't wait get my build going jest got a free chevy silverado from my mom been wanting a project im 27 now ill be busting my ass for a few years getting her together can't wait!!!! Went to silver lake for the first time this year cant believe what I was missing out on
New to this I’ve always loved watching trucks like this was wondering if it has ever been done on a 80s Mazda b2000? I have three of them and one is just sitting in the corner waiting for a build idea.
They did one on Dirt Every Day on motortrend. A B2600 on 1tons. Not much aftermarket support for Mazda’s but you could use Ford truck parts. You can build anything if your creative enough. Good luck.
I have a question I have a 99 awd 5.0 I want long travel but I want to keep the arm configuration and awd , any links for parts, this in my first build like this parts that come to mind upper and lower control arms longer axles and leafs Also what travel is available for a SHTF build without cutting up fenders and rear quarters
Would love to see some first gen pathfinder prerunners. I'm currently in the process of building my 95 and would love to see if anyone has any similar builds. Thanks and love the Channel.
I said it last time and I'll say it again so sad I moved out of michigan I miss the pre runners out there my jeep will be coming back strong next yeah by no means is it a pre runner but I keep up lol
14:50 "I believe it, I'm gonna start using it on everything". Like what bro?..... your toenails? We all want to see you build YOUR truck. I'm teasing. Great videos but please hold the camera still or do fixed positions around your interviews so us closet fab learners can duplicate the cool parts were trying to build. Thanks,Thanks,Thanks! Braaaaap!!!
Work for State Farm have State Farm State Farm will cover everything on the truck if you keep it up-to-date with your agent just because it is still registered through your Department of Motor Vehicles by far the best build I've seen just because it's been home built
What the insurance thinks you have has nothing to do with street legal. Yes it would be more expensive to insure as it sits but you will appreciate it if it stolen or wrecked.
Can we all agree it's not really a ford explorer anymore it's a custom shredder with the vague look of a Ford explorer. Just like pro mod drag cars are not anything like a normal car.
I gotta say, this dude is humble and seems very friendly. I hope the scene in MI never changes. It's different from the SoCal scene; in a more wholesome way. Everyone is in it to progress it instead of having unhealthy competitions.

loving the midwest coverage! would be fun to see a 4wd prerunner and see how differently they are set up
4wd A arms would be interesting to see
Well the TTB SYSTEM is pretty much is
this suspension setup only difference is the 4wd and a couple inches less of travel but just as bad ass it's a very good a trade off u might loose a 2 or 3 inches but your gaining 4wd
They did one... called the exploder... on this channel
I love that James acts so stoked on each truck and makes the builders/owners feel like good about themselves and there stuff.
OG JUMP WAGON!! She went to a good home 👌
I like the open shock cavity in the rear doors! And then when the door closes it seals it off. Nice detail!
Michigan represents again !!! Love seeing our local state guys on here 🤘🏻This explorer is bad ass too !!!
We need more footage of them ripping the truck at the end.
This guy has the classic mid western personality I love it! 😂
WOOOOOW...What a top shelf build....nice work my man 💪!
Holy crap! Thats the craziest first gen I’ve ever seen (if you can still call it a first gen explorer lol). Major props, very inspiring!
Dude, this Ford is sick! super clean awesome job!
SUV prerunners are not your common ride, but they're awesome! Thank you guys for this clip... I'm really digging the off-road SUV's!
awesome breakdown, would love to see more explorers and broncos. keep up the great work!!!
Holy that was so clean I’m doing my xj Similar when the build is done I’m going to contact you guys to come do a video on it
Would love to see a video of a prerunner XJ. Not to many out there.
Finally a sick explorer build
I just got hooked on Steelit and new colours coming from what my supplier told me, nothing flashy just black's, greys, and that steering wheel reminds me of old vintage car steer wheels. Every bit has been put together with a lot of thought, Here take my money, not worried it is just two wheel drive being a 4x4 guy this SUV works, so smooth on the landings an masterpiece, don't change it.
The way he sealed off the rear shocks and coil overs from the cab using the rear doors is genius! No dusty cab....
Don't worry about what other people think or say. Y'all are awsome!
Wow! You got me back into the Explorers!! Those Fiberglass panel updates look Sick Man!!! 🤘🏼 😎 Good Job
That's an awesome build. Looks fantastic.
Gotta love the jump wagon 👍🏻

The sbf or a coyote would've been way cooler in the Explorer but hope yours turns out great
Thank you man I hope to see some more videos of your explore in the future.
Another great video , great truck and dude who built it! Fantastic work!
Looks and Jumps Awesome...Nice Job! Ford should be building something like that.
I like a a good Ranger runner as much as anyone but I love seeing different builds. Find all the oddball stuff you can!
It'd be cool to see a 65-66 f100 prerunner in action. I know you guys showed the one at Robs shop but it just sat in the shop... not very exciting. Super inspiring build... good work dude! Suspension looks dialed 👌🏻
That is a lot of work done to that to a Explorer. Looks sick
Cool guy, great truck...thanks for the share!
Shout out to the Homies in Michigan(Home State)!!!! loveing the videos guys, can't wait get my build going jest got a free chevy silverado from my mom been wanting a project im 27 now ill be busting my ass for a few years getting her together can't wait!!!! We wanna see some broncos!! 😁
The most decked out Ford Explorer in the U.S!!!!!! Hands down
That explorers sick! It’d be cool to see some bigger body SUV’s like a suburban or expedition
Im in the process of gettin the money together to build my OBS tahoe
Well this is definitely what I'm building... have a rain gutter ranger I was gonna do but got 4 kids so I need to go this route!!
Looks a little bit like my fridge rippin around out there but it definitely rips!
Caaloraado and shacks 🤣 Gotta love Midwest boys! I can't make too much fun, I call my state Worshington
im in love!!! makes me sad mine will take years to look like that!!!!
More 4x4 rangers! I’m gonna slowly start building my 93 ranger 5.0 keeping it 5 speed!
Wow. Ur a professional builder
This thing is Siiiicccckkkkk!
Luke...
"Welcome To The Dialed Channel"
👍✌️
Awesome Explorer. Keep up the great video's.
Love the contact that you guys put out and the vibes hope the Channel continues to grow O ya can you guys find a badass Jeep to do a video on
Great rig!
Looks like a semi truck steering wheel. That's what it reminds me of. Dope explorer though. That shit has got some travel. Insane. Love the color.

What is "Steel it" the product they use for cover the suspension components
That's a half hour from my house!! The dunes are awsome
So badass hoping to one day convert my colorado to twin beams!!
Love the videos. How about a full size bronco build?
That Michigan accent takes me back to my roots.
Arshia leaving love marks on James neck
Home built all of a sudden I noticed the doc brown shades when he said "yeah I did it all"
Nice podcasts just got a Ford Ranger 97 it’s ON!
im more interested in how you got that tri 4-link tucked in there so i can somewhat steal ur layout... ???? ;)
I have always wanted to start a pre runner project but I’ve been too scared too pull the trigger lol my 01 ram is my only truck too lol
Would love to see some first gen pathfinder prerunners. I'm currently in the process of building my 95 and would love to see if anyone has any similar builds. Thanks and love the Channel.
Love the build 🤙🏽
Sweet homebuilt. Dig the SUVs. Keep up the reviews and sick mobbing vids. Can you guys review a TITAN or Armada?
I got a 94 explorer, guess I gotta step up my game 😂
Can you use Steel-It on frame to prevent rust? I’m in Northern Illinois
Por15
Peeps at the shocks... aaaa is that a turbo?!
Sick!
I’d love to see him huck that thing at jump champs!!!!
That guy is all about headrus
That's the place my sister's wedding was at last year. When is Luke's ranger video coming back out?
Hmmm , I have a 2001 5 0
Explorer.. uh oh.. James stop giving me ideas. Lol
Wouldn’t even be able to tell it’s an explorer if it wasn’t for the door handles and the rear hatch
Wanna see more 4wd prerunners
I've never been so confused. It's like a ricer but when you just look past the panels your like.... okay this means business and your like.... badass
You must be new to pre runners
Wath a badass ! 👍😎
i wanna build my obs chevy if you know anybody with one that would be a cool video to learn from
I am going to build an explorer up for my first car and it is cool to people build them to
Did my dude put a raptor front end on that thing 🤣
I said it last time and I'll say it again so sad I moved out of michigan I miss the pre runners out there my jeep will be coming back strong next yeah by no means is it a pre runner but I keep up lol

The steering wheel is the same as an early 2000's spiker. It's a Dutch Super car.
Steel-it....I put that sh!+ on everything! 🤣👍🏼
Would a truck like this be an ok daily driver?
It wouldn't be safe on the street, too easy to roll over if you had to emergency maneuver.
Work for State Farm have State Farm State Farm will cover everything on the truck if you keep it up-to-date with your agent just because it is still registered through your Department of Motor Vehicles by far the best build I've seen just because it's been home built
Never understood why people build 4wd trucks. There’s no replacement for displacement and Dana 60’s
It's like an Explorer and a raptor had unprotected sex. I dig it.
Link ?
looks awesome and good work but ls swap👎🏽
Where's the Cup?
I really thought it was gonna be a stock 5.0
4:23 OMG
Every time a 4x4 goes to 4x2 a bro kid drops his Monster ☹️
That is fucking mint
What the insurance thinks you have has nothing to do with street legal. Yes it would be more expensive to insure as it sits but you will appreciate it if it stolen or wrecked.
I’d love to see trophy Jeep the ttb xj
Can we all agree it's not really a ford explorer anymore it's a custom shredder with the vague look of a Ford explorer. Just like pro mod drag cars are not anything like a normal car.
Find a new Tacoma prerunner? Like 18' 19' or 20'
🤙
Steel it ftw
