I know that someday in the future, I will see your game published. It will be amazing to me that I watched this game be made. Keep up the great work.
I'm hoping I can release something small people can play soon! :p
I’ve used LMMS for a while now, and I’m actually able to make some decent stuff with it. You are able to import samples and sound fonts using specific tracks, and even when it seems simple, you can still get complex when editing instruments.
Oh yeah LMMS was what I started with and I’ve seen people take it to its limits. It’s really more about the artist rather than the tool!
i think another thing to look when it comes to audio is Bosca ceoil, sticking to the old school chip tune vibe it gives varity of instruments to test out and try.
I've only tried it once or twice, but the program seems very fun!
Great video, love the Piskel cat ;3
Only the best art in the thumbnail
Thank you so much for informing me the Aesprite can be free!
I was shocked to learn not a lot of people knew you could compile it for free
completly underrated, though I would love if you mentioned unity because it is very similar to Godot in ways and is free.
I honestly should talk about Unity at some point. I really want to revisit it
Another great free game engine is GDevelop, since it’s pretty easy to pick up if you know the basics of coding.
A couple people in my server use it and I've heard it can do some crazy stuff!
One good free program that is similar to the likes of Ableton is Waveform 11 which I highly recommend. Until getting FL Studio, it was what I used.
For Aseprite, there's this cool open source software where people take the UI look and everything about Aseprite and convert it into LibreSprite. It's basically the same thing and best of all, it's completely free.
Sounds awesome! I honestly have to check it out!
@@orithekidd LibreSprite is a fork of Aseprite v0.9.5 (the free one you have to compile). So it has all of the features of that version, minus the bugs. No compiling necessary.
avoid getting Adobe Premiere for free by getting the free version of davinci resolve. It is great! I love your content
This is true! And I'm glad you enjoyed!
You need more subs your channel is awesome
Thank you!
Godot is the best free game engine out there
Godot is honestly a great engine! It just wasn't for me long term...
naw bro Unity is sm better
@@lystea7860you wanna go bruh
@@ZachariahMJ aight bet
@@lystea7860 hope your ready I’m a professional boxer *works at UPS
Noooo, you forgot the mention the 2 best others free game programs : Unity and Unreal Engine 5
I didn't have too much experience with those so I left them out, but I know they're powerful engines!
@@orithekidd 😃Yeah Godot and Game Maker are becomming more powerful too. Oh and thanks to you I discovered aseprite! (great video)
GODOT GOES BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
BRRRRRRRRRRRR (I do enjoy the engine tho :p)
@@orithekidd nice
Bosca ceiol
My friend used to use it, but man the UI just wasn't for me lol. Still a great audio program
@@orithekidd I like the riff pattern system, but I don't like everything else, the pattern you freely paste on the timeline is inspired by music2000(m2k) and is my favorite way to compose. But in m2k you can use more than one instrument per riff pattern, and instead if having a long vertically scrolling note sequencer, you indicate the octave on the note, so no scrolling. I wish we had a mix of tracker, chiptune and m2k style composing. It's much easier to think about pattern first, then rearrange them on the timeline tracks. And it would be great for dynamic music composition, if there was an API to interact by triggering pattern on and off or modifying there parameters
piskel closed down
I just tested it and the site is still up? Could possibly a regional based thing, but I'll look into it!
