2022 Gibson Les Paul Standard - No String Tension... No Problem?

The owner left me this 2022 Gibson Les Paul Standard with me to re-string and do a complete setup. It was a gift from his Uncle and hasn't really been played much at all. The initial problem I saw was that it had no strings on it and I I always get worried when a guitar sits too long without string tension or the truss rod adjusted properly. In this case we got lucky - the truss rod and neck adjusted perfectly and the setup went smoothly. Enjoy the video!

I have the exact same model guitar but a right-handed one and the factory setup is perfect.

ABR-1 style bridge with stop tailpiece, screws toward neck. Nashville bridge, screws towards stop bar.

I think that you inverted the pickup height tool when measuring… most probably because it’s a leftie guitar ! 😊
