I had just watched another channel do a review on one of these. It was an older video. Now I see you got one too. I like that it's not those pink lights. I'd love it if Spider Farmer sent me one to test out on my channel since I grow many types of usual plants too. It fits into your greenhouse perfectly.
These are super nice and not blurple.....I literally just bought a GROWSTAR 1200w for my indoor grow tent with orchids in it then I found this. Oh no, I can’t return it or cancel it now. That’s ok, I can’t afford these lights anyways, but these are so nice. Thanks for making these videos, I find them helpful.
Im not the biggest fan of most LED panels, but this one sure seems quite nice! Looks sturdy and well coated against moisture, hope to see an update on this one!
Just returned my SF-2000 because it did not come with the knob has showed in you video (bait and switch?). Glad to see it's not just a figment of the manufacturer imagination. It's a bit weird that the driver shown on their website is XLG-240-H-AB which has a higher voltage than what they gave you. Although this does confirm they did not change the LED panel with the upgrade. Seriously frustrated that I have to return the light because of the missing dimmer switch. Amazon posting was for the new model, but they sent me the older one. Considering I planned to run it around 50% for power saving since I am growing vegetables, it was a deal breaker. One thing I noticed, the heat sink appear light for the use, not sure why they are not using a heat sink with fins since it would dissipate the heat better.
@@sarrakitty These LED are most efficient at 25C. The diver series XLG is 7 year warranty (also more expensive) vs ELG 5 year warranty from Mean Well. Although in their defense, apparently the failure rate is higher on the XLG than ELG, go figure. Manufacturing website is showing an XLG in the photos, but they are shipping an ELG, the difference in price is about 50%. If you read the manufacturer website, they also recommend to run a fan on the light if in a warm or enclosed area. Fins would help a LOT in those situation, more surface area = better cooling. Still frustrated with the return since if it had the dimmer like in the video, the mediocre heat sink would be an acceptable compromise for the price.
Can you do an update on the air plants

Amazing videos keep it up
Thanks for your nice video💪🏻🔥🔥Looking forward to the update!
I didn't know you added my video on dimming to your blog. Cool. I like the fact you added the dimmer control.
thank you! More to come!
First and out of stock
don,t forget to protect your eyes
Spider farmer/ Meizhi are crooks! They would not honour their warranty! It may be an ok light, but if you have problems with it... good luck!

Flat heat sink is cheaper than one with fins. Probably figured they could cut corners there. Does it get significantly hot in operation?
