Smiths junkie till the end. Had mixed feelings the first few times I heard it. Then I realized this is very good he's a talent and he didn't just do this the way it was done before..so yeah, dig it now.
his voice reminds me a heck of a lot of Andy Bell from a band called Erasure not sure if they're still around and Andy Bell was only hired because his voice reminded Vince Clarke of Alison Moyet whom he had previously worked with if that's not too confusing...anyway, the guy at the start should have mentioned the song here was by the Smiths originally.
good song, though its originally by the snyders or the millers, who own the big brewery, which was the inspiration for miles davis' bitches brew, which reminds me of 'feline' on the new album 'Dein Song 2014', which Tamino likes to hear a lot recently, but on which is also the incredibly bad song by DJ Bobo and Pierre Luca. Talking about 'bad': Have you got the latest Michael Jackson album? tim
***** fraid not bud have to let you down Wacko Jacko album-wise but i could give you a lend of the ABBA record which came out in January if you like? probly prefer the old Areefa though if memry serves (swerves)
You jokin on me?? Wacko indeep released a posthumus-record dis weak! Whereass abba did knot. Aaand: what bout areefa franklin? You mean, i should 'sink!'
***** post hummus??? you some kind of lebanese chick-pea freak? and no, i fear i have not come into pöossession of said post-bubbles Wacko album which no doubt includes such classic tracks as "beat it worms", "thriller" (this time with real rotting corpses) and "we are the mud" ..indulgence please, it's been a long day.

umm not JT sounds whiny when he sings!!! He's so overrated even JC chasez sings better than JT. Jt is a good performer I'll give him that but not the best singer!! Daniel has a more soulful rich voice.
This album is GOLD. This song should have been more popular than it was. Mark Ronson is a genius.
You’re right on the money. Absolute genius and still underrated even with his current fame.
Daniel Merriweather is fantastic!!!! I like him!!! And the cover version is great too!!
absolutely the best cover version.x.
Daniel Merriweather is so stellar and I still can't figure out how Mark Ronson heard this ruby in the original emerald.

@Storm Zamboni I'm aware of The Smiths version but wasn't that just a cover of The Supremes? I think The Supremes did it in 70s or 60s
My best i love the singer i m fan from france marseille

un amor más . en lugano en la delpini. 2010 .
With a "little" help from Daniel Merriweather
Yeah right, and a little help from the smiths, it's a cover version using two groups songs and you'd swear he wrote the fucking thing
❤
Always ambitious to TRY and cover the Smiths. You just haven’t earned it yet baby.
With some help? What about the orchestra and the drummer, bass player, etc etc
Musical "dope"
"I'm sorry, but it's a no from me, mate"
hm i love this song n the remake but that was too Justine timberlake for me..stop me if im wrong..
Treating it as if it's their song, I'm not knocking it, it ain't bad but giving The Smiths a bit of credit wouldn't go a miss.
Josh Samson I said the same thing to myself
And what about Diana Ross?
umm not JT sounds whiny when he sings!!! He's so overrated even JC chasez sings better than JT. Jt is a good performer I'll give him that but not the best singer!! Daniel has a more soulful rich voice.
I hope you didnt turn m,ark ronson
seems more like Gavin Degraw with an accent or something..JT's vocal range is a lot more impressive..
the smiths stop methis guy is a poor money maker
Im disappointed and overjoyed. Hes no morrissey, hes ok though
unneccessarry when Morrissey is back
Stop 🛑 this guy quick. Its hurting my ears 👂🏽
Terrible-----making a smiths song into mainstream boy band garbage oh well
angelique giusino wtf are you talking about??..
Mainstream?? Skilled musicians.. jazz version..
LOL Mark Ronson as "boy band garbage"
No sabia que el canelofuera cantante
My best i love the singer i m fan from france marseille
