I did a f2p mystery shard only account last year. A couple tips about that clan quest. If you win any shields by completing any stages which reward gear for the first time that counts. (so when you pick up that divine crit rate weapon and shield in the campaign for example that counts). The second tip is absolutely DO NOT spend your clan gold on energy. Spend every possible piece of clan gold you can on revenge accessories. It is so hard to get good accessories on an early account and a single decent accessory can be a massive game changer. The value of the accessories is orders of magnitude more than what you will get from the energy.
Ooo interesting. I have to wait to unlock those slots I think. I spent the gold on energy for now but will keep that in mind for later and try to horde some. Good call!

Quick Tip! There's a mission at the very start of part 3 of the Arbiter missions that wants you to rank up a champion to 6 star. So, if you're able to fuse Justiciar soon, it might be worth waiting on Rathalos. Otherwise you'll have to wait for your 3rd 6 start champion to get passed there, which may he awhile.

Yes Drock. Gold I through 3 is extremely hard because there are a ton of people later in the game that are stuck there. Once you get to Gold 4 or higher then you will see more people with one champ defenses. I am very glad for your luck in pulls. Coldheart is huge for your account!
Btw, go with power levels of the opponent at those levels. It doesn't matter as much later on of course but early on power levels matter a lot. Of course if they are lower then you, you can beat them.

Super lucky without a doubt! I still can't believe the pulls I've had so far. Even Vogoth is a god tier epic in so much content.
One thing you can do to drop down in 3v3 really fast while still earning is go into the fights with only one team and and other two teams just an ungeared put 1 or 2 star. Winning only 1/3 will make your net rank score of the fight negative while you still earn gold bars. You’ll drop like a rock to the bottom of bronze 1 and then you can farm all the single man defenses!

Gold Arena does not care about account power or level anymore, it's just point based. Silver and below puts you up against people of or around your account power. Fun thing was, when I did my ref accounts, it could easily take 2-3 weeks to get through G1-4, but once you hit Gold 5, it gets WAY easier bc there are so many more 1 person defenses.
Yeah it's insane that it doesn't take account power into account. Some of these defenses are absolutely nuts!
Queen Eva campaign used to be one of the early go to farming spots for that speed gear before Perception was a thing. The other spot was Bad El Kazar campaign.
The issue with all arena matchmaking outside of live arena is that inactive krakens are allowed to drift down to lower brackets instead of being made to stagnate at the bottom of their highest achieved bracket with only the rewards degrading down. A Plat 1 whale who has permanently quit should be eternally stopped at Plat 1 matchmaking even if their reward keeps shrinking down to 1 Bronze medal or something.
Always enjoyed farming Queen Eva! And yeah it's a real problem seeing some of these teams in Gold 1 that literally can't be beaten unless you get god tier pulls

Based on you mentioning this Clan quest of getting Rare and Epic Shields from Campaign, I took both (expert and elite) after reset. They were done the same day. Must have been lucky.
any other day we would all be dancing around after pulling 2 leggos so early in a FTP account, instead of dismay. That's the kicker of this comp, but adds a quirky touch. Note- if you keep you energy BELOW what you max energy is (109 at level 39), then the system generates up to 20 energy per hour, It's only a little but it will tick you over. Don't pull energy pots or energy rewards straight away unless you are going to use it. Big congrats on pulling the Coldheart, nice one. Keep grinding, you are learning the pain of a FTP player.
Great tip and yeah it's super different from the normal comp structure for sure. I like it though because both of my leggo pulls were mediocre champs at best. Better as food this way haha

Drock you need to be doing your campaign farming in Durham forest until you get enough spirit hosts to fill your faction guards for dark elf
So not a bad idea but I've actually had incredible luck pulling champs for the Dark Elves faction. I've already got a fully filled faction team with great champs!
pro tip for tag just set 1 man def and you will get them as well also when doing arena checking player power in early game for the def team can help tell if its geared or not.

Edit edit: Yeah, I made the same mistake with the rare or epic boots clan quest but it was the hard one for 5 of them. I think I spent like 1k energy before I looked it up and then had to spend another who knows how much energy getting those freakin boots. Never touching that quest again...

I thought I knew that the rare shield could only be obtained against the boss. The same thing happened to me and I had to attack a lot before I noticed that detail.
Yep I got owned. Wasted so much energy on the wrong stage as a result. Oh well! Just gonna have to grind harder to make up for it!
You can win a rare sheild from sheild level 3 but its just easier to get rare sheilds from level 7 bosses.
So I've heard that it's impossible to win one from the lower levels so now I'm confused haha
When you get to the gold arena, the game will no longer look for opponents of your own level. Some people delay going up to Gold in order to get e.g. certain missions done faster. I don't think it helps if you drop below Gold after that.
Good insight! I've jumped between silver and gold to try and knock out missions faster which seems to be working so far. Once I get my Vogoth to 6 star and in a shield set I'll be good to go I think!
That is what areas always looks like, I have had 5 accounts and you run into nightmare teams in Gold 1 all the time.
It's crazy. Gold 1 is a graveyard of high level teams. So hard to climb there!

I personally think that HH themselves had a tier list. They should have just banned all champs with and above 4 rating imo. Would be more interesting than the current version
Unfortunately it takes too few battles to rank up in arena so new players reach gold really fast then they can’t really fight anyone.

another problem will be the xprs boosts...so use them wise...another one thing is that almost all the mid and heavy spenders have 2-3 accounts (except theirs mains) and this make things harder in arena...bcause they spend for those accounts too(dont ask me why) and the only thing they do is to ruin the progress of all the f2p players..be sure arent new players.
Yeah it's crazy how limited resources are at this level. Definitely have to be smart with my items for sure and yeah climbing arena is gonna be tough for sure with so many strong accounts out there.

Why can’t you use the other legendaries? Ratholos is a legendary. I don’t understand why you can’t use him but not the others?
So we can only use legendaries we don't get through summoning. So any shard pull leggos are not allowed for this competition. Makes it harder for sure!

You can use any legendary that you get from monthly log in rewards or any that you acquire from in game progression.you just cant use any legendary that you pull from any shards..
So as long as the legendary isn't summoned it can be used. So Rathalos for example is fair game.

I don't see why you guys are not allowed to use legendries. Even free to play pulls legendries every now and then. It would also make the competition more fun and RNG based. Luck is luck. This is a gambling game after all.

I disagree, epics are much more balanced and accessible. And it's more about skill and knowledge while still rng based. Which is more fun to watch

can't use them and they are both F tier garbage :') actually rares that have higher value.. personally i have fed both of them because i don't care about bad legendary champs when i have 5 mythicals and 42 legos at level 55 :')
