Ohhh only just seen the video. I was actually the one who "won" the thing after like 26 hours, eating only wine gum apple rings :) Good memories :) Greetings from Berlin mate !
Hey Tristan! Remember the place where you didn‘t know whether you are in Slovenia, Italy or Austria? That’s literally my home (about 50 meters from there is our alpine hut)! Glad you enjoyed my beautiful home and if you‘re ever back here riding your bike I‘ll be happy to show you around! 😊
what a seriously stunning ride, I wanted to kayak Slovenia but now I'm going to ride it as well! loving watching these amazing videos before work on a Monday morning in Aus Tristan, well done!
Watching it before work in the early morning. Oh man, how much I love cycling. The end of the race brought tears to my eyes.. being free and able to do these kinds of adventures is priceless.
Just spectacular scenery. You make me so envious of what your able to do. I'm late to the couch peleton of cycling, probably only the last 5 years but really wishing I'd chosen a different life path. At 58 too old to change but hopefully my next life I take cycling up and get involved. Thankyou so much for showing me what I'm missing out on.
Never too old to Change and become inspired by nature's beauty and enjoying the outdoor life style. I'm 58 and so is my wife, we ride on average 7500kms/year and it never gets old...change starts from within Kerry. If you have the will and desire there is nothing that can hold you back...Tristan does a super job of taking us from the Dolomites to the Costa Brava and back again as does RAD RACE!!!!!! Once you start there is no turning back!!!!!
@@joejanega4172how do you financially support your self for a lifestyle like this, I would love to do something like this but am afraid I will have no career when I’m older, currently 27
Watching this clip and it’s easy to understand that feeling ‘your own life sucks’ . Thank you for showing us the awesome route , interaction with like minded people and what’s possible outside a pure road adventure 🙏 Look your work 👌
RadRace choice of scenery continues to impress..first Tour de Friends, now this!.. such feel good vibes for my eyes.. most of the crew on Canyon’s I noticed..I’ve got a Grizl SLX8Di2 on order.. getting G’d up for next year’s BWR (Belgian Waffle Ride) here in San Diego. Thank you for all your efforts as you continue to bring such banger rides to us all.. and thanks for “training”Ben this season.. he’s showing great potential..Jk.. what a stud!
I have discovered your channel only for a week, thought your videos are so well built and edited, as well as the passion you put trought a video ia incredible!! Good job :) Keep going with this content!!
That scenery!...those roads!!....personally i would hate to be forced into some sort of time schedule as fun as that event looks....filling an SD card would be more important than kms ridden...Slovenia is now added to my bucket list 👍
went to Slovenia for a week last month hiking in the alps it was beautiful, amazing country. definitely going to go there with my bike next time i visit
Did you still use the WTB tires?. I switched to Vitoria terrine dry, they are similar on gravel, but much better on road and way much smoother in my opinion.
I don’t have a complete map but my strava has all the rides that you can download the GPX files from or create a route with, or the RadRace komoot has the track I believe.
Still my shirt is better!😉 Was a pleasure Tristan.

The climb name is Vršič. :)
recognise that descent, 26 hair pin bends, all cobbled, built by Italian prisoners of war - Vrsic pass I think?
Correct, it's Vršič pass, but built by Russian prisoners during 1st WW. :)
@@martinhudobivnik5895 thanks, my Slovenian mate I rode the pass with, said ITA, WW2, anyway, spectacular pass

Yeah, still on the Raddler’s for this ride. I’ve heard good things about the Vittoria’s though.
do you have the full map of the trail because im slovenian and want to spend my summer break bikepacking
I don’t have a complete map but my strava has all the rides that you can download the GPX files from or create a route with, or the RadRace komoot has the track I believe.
