  • Our hosts, Aisha Yesufu, Bright Jaja, Kate Henshaw, Zumah Yahaya, and Seun Kuti, dissect the recent Edo State elections, revealing alarming practices such as vote buying and overvoting that marred the democratic process. Aisha delivers a compelling message to registered voters, urging them to reflect on their role in shaping their future. Bright highlights exemplary governance in Kwara State, showcasing how Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq's simplicity and commitment to service are redefining leadership. As Independence Day approaches, Kate challenges viewers to consider the essence of being a "real Nigerian" in these trying times. The conversation takes an engaging turn with Zumah's insightful dating tips and Seun's bold assertion that tribalism is merely a social construct. This episode promises a mix of serious discussions and lighter moments, pushing for a more intentional approach to both governance and personal relationships.

We need inec reform asap. The legislators should sharply do that or else 2027 will be a joke. Inec has proven to us that final votes can be larger than registered voters and the judiciary will stamp it.

Aisha is talking too much. Even if 1 billion people come out to vote that wont stop apc and tinubu from rigging the elections. Aisha keep talking about people coming out to vote, the ones who voted wheres their vote? Concentrate ur energy on inec and leave ordinary people alone. Talk of people who sold their vote and we will hear thhat one

Well you are not all that right, u see d problem is the people not the government. There are still vote buying not surprised. For us to initiate changes in the government it has to start with us as citizens of Nigeria. U see everyone in Nigeria wants change but we the people are not ready to do the work. We believe that it in God's hands but the sad reality is that it is in our hands even though INEC is totally reformed as everyone is clamouring for it wouldn't change what is happening. I expected that after last year's election that things will be different. That the people are ready to take by our beloved country, but I watched at the Edo state election was a shock "that people vote are still bought". It is a shocker. It is not by going out to protest tomorrow 1st October that things will be better. We as Nigerians should know that when we want to pick a leader it shouldn't be by tribe or religion, it should be who can do the job. We must demand for what the aspirants can do for us as a nation not collecting money from them
