My wife left me for another better person after 11 years together. We dated in high school and married at the age 18. Loving her was all I know and it is scary not to be with her. But I will be in a better place not being with her anymore. In this grieving time, this songs reflects my residual feeling for her.

I lost my mom (65 years old) on 5/24/19 and my sister (40 years old) a week later to cancer. I believe people can die of a broken heart because I watched my mom die over two years as she was losing her daughter to cancer. When my mom knew her daughter’s last days were near, she allowed herself to died instead of burying her only daughter. One of the most difficult times of my life. There’s not a day that goes by that I don’t think about them.
I lost my mom on 8/19/19 (64 yo), and my birthday is on 8/18/19.
At least your mom was determined to not bury a child. I bleed for your soul, but at the same time; I am glad she willed herself to not bury a child. Your family do not deserve to watch that unfolding.
