Bonnie and Bruce Hornsby have for years helped the less fortunate Blues musicians in the Deep South that many popular artists copied their music. They’ve fallen on hard times, but Bonnie and Bruce led efforts to help them financially when others did nothing. She’s a true humanitarian

Bonnie said in an interview that Dennis Quaid "was the cutest guy she could think of for the video" or something along those lines. This is one of the vids I keep coming back to over the years.
I was backstage for Miss Raitt and James Taylor in Cincinnati. Miss Raitt was a total sweetheart and , unlike other artists, she came by and talked to myself and another guard. I didn't get to the concert that night, but I was there for the sound check and, wow, goosebumps. Thank you Miss Raitt. Many artists just walk on by. You didn't.
Dennis Quaid...what an amazingly hot man. I remember and interview Bonnie did for this video and she said that she and Dennis were friends which is why he is in the video. She also said how disconcerting it was to have him grinning and leering at her through the whole thing. Since it makes me blush to watch the major flirting going on, and it wasn't even directed at me...I can only imagine what it feels like to have the full power of a Dennis Quaid flirt turned on you.

*Such* a good song! John Hiatt sure can write songs, and Bonnie is an amazing singer! And Dennis Quaid is just too good looking in this! I love the nod to Jerry Lee Lewis with the Sun Records t-shirt. He was playing Jerry Lee in "Great Balls of Fire" in the same timeframe as this.

Re: David Maloon: Obviously, Bonnie Raitt cares enough to represent Natives in her music video which happens to be an important part of music and art. It just so happens that Bonnie is a strong supporter of women and native rights. So stick that in your pipe and smoke it.
Griffy Es, If that's true, then why in the hell are you reading the comments? People who come to listen don't give a shit what people say. I came here because I used to perform this tune ages ago and had forgotten it most of the tune. Then, I was curious if commenters had anything to say, regarding Bonnie's musical history. If not for those reasons I would have never seen your asinine reply to Kristina. You probably never saw the comment she was referring to, due to the way youtube distributes what's visible to each customer these days. Next time just listen to the music and don't treat people you have never seen or known, like shit!
its not about representing Natives or any of that bullshit, just her music and the composition. Go find another crap cause to follow . Bonnie Raite sings,,,,,,,,,,,,,, got it? its not all that complicated.
Maybe not but I gotta give props to Tracey Chapman who can pull on them guitar strings her own self. But there is something to be said for the sexiness of a woman and a guitar. It's like amazing to watch!
This is a big bump. Hope it rolls, Lol. I'm so, looking forward to seeing Bonnie, at The Britt Venue, in Jacksonville, Oregon. In August, 2022. I'm still rocking it at 65. My new friend, after the death of both our spouses, is a willing and able partner in fun and games. Gabby and Morock, we do rock. Be there, kids, we're hard to miss at a venue of 3k or less. Lol.
When this particular video was released VH1(when they were a little more offbeat) played the heck out of this video and helped her immensely in her comeback.

Lo único malo de este TEMAZO de Bonnie Raitt es lo poco que lo aprecian las personas que se creen que sólo los artistas más conocidos son los únicos que valen. Kristina Verdile oh who gives a shit I came to listen to the song
Cat Jefferson it's not up for discussion
its not about representing Natives or any of that bullshit, just her music and the composition. Go find another crap cause to follow . Bonnie Raite sings,,,,,,,,,,,,,, got it? its not all that complicated.
Seen her in concert, she sounds just as good live!
That girl doesn't take a back seat to nobody when it comes to playing a guitar!
Maybe not but I gotta give props to Tracey Chapman who can pull on them guitar strings her own self. But there is something to be said for the sexiness of a woman and a guitar. It's like amazing to watch!
I AGREE!!

Bonnie Raitt - Thing Called Love 💘 1989
Bonnie Raitt Nick Of Time ⏲️ 1989
Love this song. Bonnie is such an excellent performer!
Rita Holden saw her in person, she was spectacular, I think my then husband came!
Lol.
This whole CD is great! I think it was the first one I bought by her. Gave one away, but got another. Woman sings real shit!
When this particular video was released VH1(when they were a little more offbeat) played the heck out of this video and helped her immensely in her comeback.
Oh yeah I loved Bonnie and her music as a kid, and I seem to remember most of her songs in heavy rotation in 1991 and 92.
Great tune, and watching Bonnie play that guitar, awesome!
Bonnie is in my music Love History. I saw her in concert a few times in this little town. Question : Who is the cutie that is in the audience with the muscle Tee?
Dennis Quaid

Thanks for your love and support that has brought me this far, I wouldn't be where I am today without your loyalty and support. How long have you been a fan ❤
BONNIE RAITT SIEMPRE 😃
Claro ke si !!!
Es un temazo !!!
