Hey what is the black part on the scallops? I see some people eat it and some not
It’s the inners of the scallops, there are sand in those parts if not cleaned properly. So if its wild caught you wouldn’t normally eat those unless you clean in and let it spit out the sand on its own. But farmed scallops tend to be cleaner and won’t have that much sand in it
