All Hitman games have a fantastic soundtrack, but I still like Codename 47's the most. All the songs were so fucking atmospheric. Hong Kong, the jungle, Rotterdam harbor... great stuff all of 'em.
@@shahaffiq5860 You literally have no way of knowing that, especially given the range of the man's music from something like Codename 47 to, say, his Assassin's Creed scores which are memorable, orchestral, but know when to stay out of the way. The airy-like choir is probably the Fairlight CMI's "Arr1" or "Arasian Morn" from the Roland JV or XV series. There is a ton of stuff related to your question on the internet on what equipment was used on what soundtracks from the 90s.

Does anyone know what synth/preset is being used for those ethereal sounding chords in the beginning and throughout this song? I'm trying to recreate that sound but don't have the faintest idea of where to start from.
Always wanted to play these games, only played Contracts and Absolution. Still have Contracts but my disc is fucked and only like half of the levels play. Every level after Budapest Bath Hotel except for the last doesn't load.
I played this by the time hitman 2016 was out. One of the first things I noticed was the soundtrack and how good it is. Despite the clunkiness and inferior controls as opposed to the future games, i still enjoyed the ambience it had to offer.
in some ways , the old games do have some unique awesomeness about them
