I've noticed in 70% of these public talks that the crowd slows the man down in the exploration with irrelevant questions. These '77 Saanen public talks are so direct and clear. This man's mind has, as he points out, permanently altered human consciousness.

The audience members have fears that distract them irrationally. He is familiar with the terrain, so he guides them through the obstacles that have prevented them from exploring in the past. If the audience didn't need help, this talk wouldn't have happened- I'm grateful to them for this

“To listen without any conclusions; without any opinions. And in that listening one discovers the false and the truth. When there is actual attention given to listening, the very attention excludes everything that is not absolute fact.” ( This came as a great revelation to me. The very act of attention itself does its job).

living with the past is all I do .Do I know that . All my activities perpetuate the past . SO my wanting anything or making a change or getting somewhere is just a bigger better 'I' formation; this is our history of mankind -- wanting to go beyond . So realizing that 'wanting to come out of the past ' is remaining in the past .That is what is called an Impasse .
Now look at the past w/o past . Wat do you say to that ? you say its impossible . uhmm, so you know what your reaction is,, you will either deny or agree . Look at the reaction you have when you look at anything . What an arduous thing to do . Keep at it .

In dzogchen there are three things one must have a direct experience of to understand ones nature
    1. Compassion not the thought of compassion as he explain but compassion as you being a constant expression of compassion taking direct or non-action(actionwithoutthought)
    2. Clarity. Direct perception without entanglement or filter of images, freshness in your gaze as watching a tree 100 times everytime you see it new and a fresh!
    3. emptiness or spaciouss quality that things are empty holographic projections with lack of any substance. An intuition in the empty nature

Dare I say this .. K was very vociferous throughout his life that we should throw all our crutches away ..crutches like enlightenments, awakenings , non duality , political social religious any help all that . Nonetheless , we the gullible listeners ( maybe not all but atleast a few ) , innocently use K as the crutch . Either make this guy the authority or interpret him in our own idiosyncratic way etc
We keep on coping with life , either by listening to K or doing something else. Why cope ?
the life of a normal human being is this - I got this one life ( 10/20/30 yrs ), I have to make the best of it ... have a great career, have a family, vacations etc . this thinking itself the authority which he says in the start . serving GOD or political party or nation all same . SO what do I do if I dont do all these ... which means what , I am a doer always . But who gave the 'I ' the authority to 'Do' ?
