I used to rent this all the time from Movie Mart (basically a local Blockbuster clone from the 1990s). I think my parents didn't like the fact that I kept spending money renting the same game over and over again, so they bought it for me for my birthday.
Who remembers the days when big names wrestlers would fight just regular guys? When you have matches like The Ultimate Warrior vs Richard Smith.. LMAO .. And the regular guys would come down to no music, or would already be in the ring
When I was 12 years old, I remember putting this game, Jurassic Park, and Sonic Spinball on my 1993 Christmas list. My mother told me she didn't make enough money to afford videogames for me that year and told me I'd be getting underwear and socks, and I said "ok". So on Christmas morning I was expecting some unsatisfying gifts, plus my presents were in boxes that looked like they'd be what she said they would be.. When I unwrapped the first one and saw the box, I was sure they were not Genesis games. I opened the box and just saw a bunch of tissue paper. I removed the tissue paper to reveal one of those 3 games, and then the same in the other 2 boxes. I was very fooled and happily surprised.
I remember beasting on this game for hours with my brother. My brother would knock the legal guy out of the ring and I'd jump down off the apron and beat his ass til he got counted out lol. Good times.
Rumble was so easy. All you had to do was wait for for the guy to enter, throw him off the ropes, then toss him over when he came back to you. I never had more than me and one other wrestler in there at once. Glitch!
good friends, would keep you from regularly using that technique. e.g: nhl94 house rule#22: you skate out of the corner on the goal line and score, you get your ass beaten..... try it again bud.

I've never really been able to decide whether I prefer the SNES or Genesis version to be honest. Both were great and while I believe the SNES looks and sounds a little better the Genesis version has a slightly better roster. Overall this is one that I can still pick up and enjoy today.

Every wrestler on here was my favorite and on WWF Raw snes and WWF Royal Rumble and Many other wrestling games are my damn favorite of all time
