I’d love to know more about how you got a job doing interior design, did playing The Sims help? and did you have previous experience doing interior design? I just quit my boring job in finance, I love making Sims House videos but I have no idea what the best interior design programs are and what to study to land any kind of creative role
Thank you so much! :) I had no experience with interior design before and did a course last year where I learnt all the programs needed (cad etc). For my specific case it did help because my colleagues loved that I did sims but not sure if it would have gotten me any job 😋 Definitely follow your dreams!

I did take a course for learning how to use all the programs for interior design and created a portfolio :) you don’t have to be certified here but it’s super hard to get the foot in the door without any experience at all. A portfolio is a must :)

I work for a studio that mostly does residential. I did take a course for learning how to use all the programs for interior design and created a portfolio :) you don’t have to be certified here but it’s super hard to get the foot in the door without any experience at all. A portfolio is a must :)
