- In this video, me and Timothy head to a station which we left disappointed with, but not only cause of the difficulties of filming but because we got jobsworthed. That station is Wimbledon.
Station History: The first station opened on the 21st of May 1838, and it served the London and South Western Railway between Nine Elms to Woking. On the 22nd of October 1855, the Wimbledon and Croydon Railway opened the line from West Croydon to Wimbledon via Mitcham, and on October 1st 1868 the Tooting, Merton and Wimbledon Railway opened a line to Streatham via Tooting Junction, which is now just known as Tooting.
