From Atheist To Christian Testimony

- I became an Atheist at 13 then Jesus saved me. This is my testimony of all the trials that lead me to believe there wasn't a God because if there was He wouldn't let bad things happen.

Being chosen by God before the foundation of this earth was created is the greatest gift I have ever received in my life! After being born again God got inside of me and changed me from the inside out! I ended up leaving my Mormon family losing my truck losing a fiancé losing all my friends but have never felt lonely because Christ lives in me! The Bible explain to me why this happened God wanted me to separate from the world and not put my clean laundry next to the dirty because eventually it will become dirty! Hearing another born-again story is so pleasing to my soul! Hearing about how Christ loves his lost sheep and brings them into the fold is so amazing! Ye through much tribulation shall enter into the kingdom of God!

Being saved is not a moment in time it’s the process from beginning to end we are saved from our second death and that has not happened yet! Paul said work out your salvation! If we are truly born-again and receive the Holy Spirit and repent of our sins we are secure in our salvation through our transformation!

This video is heartbreaking. But they almost always are heartbreaking. The more I watch these atheist-converts-to-X videos, the more I see that this was not a rational conversion from a well-reflected position, but a cry for help from having hit rock bottom. It's hard to take either conversion seriously, given the emotional baggage surrounding both of them.
Please do not forgive your molester, and shame on anyone who felt compelled to suggest that you should. This was an absolutely horrendous crime against you, but you are not the only victim if you just let him go. You are too important and valuable to just brush this off as a nothing-burger. Too many people get away with this because their victims are too ashamed or intimidated. If you don't want to press charges and just go on with your life, that's your decision, but it's not even your place to simply forgive him for this.
Your comment is interesting. I admit I hit rock bottom at one point but when God saved me I was no where near rock bottom anymore. He began to move in my life 2.5 years prior to my conversion.
Secondly, I did persue pressing charges. Justice still has its place in and outside of salvation.
Third, you are half right forgiveness wasn't completely mine to give because a work of God was done through me that I was then able to extended because I was saved.
No one is being ashamed because I share my experience. I just know what is possible through God 🙂. 🙌

Being saved is not a moment in time being born again is a moment in time being saved is the process from beginning to end it’s God waking up his lost sheep not the goats and completing the good work he started till the end! Baptism is blood it’s daily it has nothing to do with water that was a proselyte baptism! True baptism is living water through repentance daily! The word baptism comes from two words in Greek that mean to Cover or stain with a die! The word baptism has been Anglicized from the two words in Greek! In order to understand the whole truth of the Bible you have to study in its original language in Old Testament Hebrew and New Testament Greek through the textus receptus (The received text).

For salvation, we just need to follow the way they did it in Acts?
They repented, were baptized in water in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and received the gift of the Holy Ghost, Acts 2:38!
Here's why! The gospel is the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. 1 Corinthians 15:1-4. If we are to follow him, we must do the same thing. Death= repentance, Burial = baptism, and resurrection = being filled and rising again from the dead and walking in the newness of life.
That's what Acts 2:38 is. It harmonizes with Matthew 28:19, and all the other salvation scriptures.
We can't pick and choose which scriptures we like or dislike.
We must obey the gospel, 2 Thessalonians 1:8-9, in flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that OBEY NOT THE GOSPEL of our Lord Jesus Christ... Matthew 7:21-23, Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that DOTH THE WILL OF MY FATHER which is in Heaven. St John 3:3-5, EXCEPT for a man be born of WATER AND OF THE SPIRIT, he cannot enter the kingdom of GOD.
We can't come up with our own gospel. Galatians 1:8-9, But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. Don't be cursed. One way for all people. Jews, Gentiles, and Samaritans.
Our salvation has to match up with the scriptures, and no scriptures on the subject can be taken away. Eternity is TOO long to be WRONG! St, John 5:39, search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.
The gospels show what Christ has done on the cross for us. The book of Acts shows us the beginning of Christ's Church and how to enter the Church, obeying Acts 2:38. The letters were written to the Church to show us how to behave now that we are born again into the Church.
It's better to walk alone than with a crowd going in the wrong direction. Are we supposed to follow the teachings of the apostles? Acts 2:42, And they continued steadfastly in the apostle's doctrines. Ephesians 2:20, We are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ being the chief cornerstone. Don't get Titus 3:5 mixed up with James 2:14-26, about WORKS. One is a WORK of your OWN RIGHTEOUSNESS OR GOOD DEEDS, and the other is a WORK OF FAITH or OBEDIENCE TO GOD.
If I buy you a cake and tell you to come to get it, and you refuse to, then you won't have the cake even though it's been fully paid for. Christ set up the way, and we must come the way he set up to be saved or to receive it.
Noah believed or had FAITH, BUT THEN WORKED OR OBEYED TO BUILD THE ARK TO BE SAVED. LOT believed or had FAITH, BUT THEN OBEYED AND LEFT SODOM. This is why Jesus said, He that believes and is baptized shall be saved. FAITH EQUALS OBEDIENCE TO GOD! All scriptures have to harmonize together .

If you are still alive, its not full yet! Its not a whole testimony! As God will show you Himself throughout your entire life. Thats if you are continuing to walk with Him throughout your entire life!

Isn't everything that ever happens something god designed and planned? Since he is perfect, all-knowing, all-powerful and he created everything? Including satan and all the evil and pain and suffering that exists?

This infinitely loving god is responsible for and the cause of all suffering and pain, because he created and planned everything. Everything this person went through is because God planned it for her. So that he could later swoop in and "save" her? Why does he only get credit for saving her, but not the responsibility for making her suffer? Please think about what you wrote. Omnipresent, omnipotent and omniscient, which means he made this happen to her, and always knew it was going to happen, and was with her when it was happening and still let it happen.
@@myquestforfaith409 we indeed bring about our suffering. God sees, knows and is present during our suffering yes, but He is not the cause of our suffering. We are. God would never punish any of us, we choose to wander from Him and His instruction on how to live. Which is through Christ Yeshua!
As was from the beginning...beginning of our existence. As we are made in God's Image, of His Spirit.
When we sin, we suffer. When we become born again, God sanctifies us...as we are returning to His Righteousness.
We aren't righteous before God during our separation time, from Him.
But God is not to blame, nor is He behind our suffering...He is beside us during it all. It is up to us to believe Who He Is and gladly walk with Him, as when we are born again, we then recognize His Walking with us the whole time.
He suffers when we suffer.
Because we all placed Him on the Cross.

@@kellyismyname777 No, he brought about the suffering, because he created everything, and set all of this in motion, and everything that has ever been and will ever be started with him. It was all designed and planned by him. Being omnipotent, he could have created a reality without this kind of suffering and pain and without evil. He created evil by making it possible and knowing, because he is omniscient, that it would happen. If evil is so bad for us, his creation that he loves so much, why doesn't he delete it so we don't spend eternity in hell over it?

I believe in a high higher power, but I don't understand it. I'm constantly begging God and Jesus to reveal to me whether the Bible is truth. I'm disabled, alone and poor. I have asked Jesus to heal me or at least help me with my unbelief. How come Jesus doesn't show himself to some? If the Bible is truth, it seems God created me for hell since no matter how hard I try, I can't fully believe. I haven't closed my heart. I don't want to sin. I want Jesus to be real. Why won't he reveal himself to some?
Or has he and you just haven't learned to trust Him and take Him at His word ❤. You weren't created for hell, He wished that none would preish. Keep seeking, it sounds like He's doing a work in you already by causing you to hate your sin.
With respect lovely , I think maybe what you should be asking IF Jesus is the Truth, and not just a 'higher power and there being ONLY ONE TRUTH . I think sometimes he will keep us in afflictions , for reasons better known to Himself , I think what he wants you to understand that He is real there is no other power as High as Him and I think sometimes it takes time , prayers to God and persistence , despite everything else .
He has his eyes on everyone , he knows what you will do ahead of time, because he's not limited by time as we are . your not created for Hell thats for sure , the whole purpose as I understand life , is to get to know him in YOUR OWN Personal relationship with Him , He is revealed in the Bible , you know He will heal , you know he has healed and he still does , you say you cant fully believe , well thats the day He is waiting for too, when you give yourself to Him , things will change at a faster pace fort you than where they are right now :)

I arrived in a non denomination that was closest to Baptist.
