I also have a f650. It seems to do everything very well .on or off road. The front wheel dosen't do anything stupid in gravel,and stays firmly planted. Love it.

I'm trying to learn dirt riding on my F650 Funduro.
Some techniques I'm trying to achieve:
Stand on the pegs with semi bent knees.
Squeeze the tank with the knees.
Put weight on outer foot in turns/curves
Feet/Toes point forward/inwards.
Keep elbows high.
Focus far away, not to close to the wheel.

Get a Dakar it is better for offroad it is also fuel injected . I bought a funduro it's a great bike for the road and light off-road but for true off road you have to go with dakar. If the funduro was made with fuel injection it would be the perfect beginner adv bike .

it is enough for what it was designed, the forest roads do not pose problems.

Dan Botea mersi pentru raspuns. Sa imi iau inima-n dinti si sa ma duc la scoala. Ca fiabilitate care ar fi mai buna?
cipmars Pai... daca le cumperi noi fiecare au si plus si minus. Oricum 50k ii faci fara probleme, si abia dupa 150k poate sa fie nevoie de interventii majore la motor cutie etc asta si in functie de exploatare.... In cazul sh, tine de noroc...
Dan Botea second hand va fi. Probabil si destul de ieftinuta, mai ales avand in vedere ca va fi prima.
