There's style ! See how his feet are never more than 18-24" apart. It's all in the positioning and body English. Relax and enjoy the ride. No need to be spread-legged with your feet glued to the board and your arms flailing.

He looks barefoot to me.
Wish there were more films of him surfing other breaks besides PB Point. I surfed with Skip for many years. He was always a gentleman. I was one of the original owners of the first Frye model s. He shaped all my boards and when I saw him at Sunset Cliffs one winter afternoon I asked if he could make me a board for my trip to the north shore of in December. He had three guns with him and said he was testing them for the upcoming world contest and would give the one he wasn’t going to take. It was fantastic in 15 ft Sunset and pipeline.

There is alot to be said for some nice whip turns and nose rides on a longboard, just not by Skip!

I've been a fan of korduroy's and Cy's for years but the slo-mo is too much! More accurate and entertaining with speed set to 2 IMO, and the song has more pep at that speed too.
