I'm in California. We are required to register for a FBN using our home or business address which is public information. I work out of my home and have a PO Box (which the clerk doesn't allow). I don't want the public to know my home address. Any suggestions?

That's a great question! If you're going to operate under any name that is not purely your legal name then that's considered a fictitious business name and you need to file a Fictitious Business Name Statement in the county(ies) you're operating in. Hope this helps!

honestly, I still don't understand why I need this considering, I DONT want to operate under a different name when I put a lot of effort in my original name!?
