- If you are looking to have some quality audio to listen to while camping then this video is for you! We replaced our interior Arctic Fox 1150 speakers with some high quality Kicker speakers! We purchased them for less than $130 for 4 speakers, which was very reasonable since a good bluetooth speaker can be much higher than that. In this video we will show you how to replace the speakers. Some campers are very easy and require a simple plug and play option. With ours, we had to install the wires that came with the new speaker kit. Nice install and upgrade. I’d like your opinion on a truck camper purchase that we’re facing. We’re looking at a Lance 855s and an Arctic Fox 811. Very similar type of camper. Knowing that you guys recently purchased your new AF and traded in your old Palomino, why did you go with AF brand?
Hey Allen! I would highly recommend the AF811 over the Lance. We looked at lance too but have heard that the newer lances (in the last 5 years) have gone downhill in quality from owners we've met on the road. The Arctic Fox is very heavy, but that's a reassurance that it's built well. We did a lot of research on insulation and build quality and were very impressed with Arctic Fox. The layout was exactly what we wanted too. We researched a few brands (eagle cap, lance, arctic fox, host) and are happy that we chose Arctic Fox :)
Thanks for the awesome video! We’re still trying to figure out how to hook a device to the speakers. Any idea where the hook up is?
Not sure if you have the same bluetooth radio that we have but ours has a button for Bluetooth. No way to plug in unfortunately
