I own both. Hands down the Motion Boom Plus (MBP) is way better. Not even close. Clarity, detail, and bass performance all are vastly better. I also own the Tribit StormBox Blast. It's bass and fullness are even better than the MBP, but detail is lacking. Subtleties in instruments are absent. And that's a major deal breaker. So overall it's the MBP that is the grand champ!
Hi Mark. I can definitely agree with you in regards to the richness of the bass on the MBP, HOWEVER the point of these videos is the value proposition. At almost half the price, you can two W-King speakers for the price of the MBP (depending on when you shop, of course). I still use both and enjoy the versatility of the D10 for karaoke.

A co-worker knocked the D-10 off a table accidentally.Both end caps popped off but-despite "cosmetic fixes"...read Gorilla tape fix...it hasnt missed a beat. It's a beast. Not subtle by any stretch of the imagination BUT I never realized how much that "boom" or "bottom end thump" adds to music on a portable speaker. Indeed a co-worker who has a much more expensive JBL just shelves it and asks for me to pull out the W-King! All of my co-workers love it and I frequently get asked about it. I thought i wanted the Soundcore Motion + or a JBL and was going to get one or the other but then I saw a YT comparison of the D-10 and a top end JBL and I took a chance on a product from a company I'd never heard of . I can attest it will run for DAYS at moderate volume. We jam on it at work every night. Rock on y'all!
I just bought both this weekend and have been comparing them. The D10 is louder but is a little more piercing to my ear. The boom 2 is warmer, not quite as loud at the same volume level adjustment. They’re both pretty solid, I think I’m leaning to keeping the boom 2, I’ve been listening to them indoors and it sounds a little better to me. I think the D10 would be better for outdoors. They’re both pretty good for the price.
Young man if you or your buddy has an android phone ya put the wking d10 on the more bass mode then go into phone sound settings. Go to adapt sound hit the under 30yrs old option it boosts the highs and makes this d10 and other w king sound as good as any bt speaker made. It's a game changer for the speaker and with that setting I'd easily take it over the boom plus which is why I sent boom plus back 2days after relieving it
From what I heared on youtube I can't understand that decision at all. The MBP has way more clarity and the prices now are nearly the same. W-King has a bit to muddy sound for my taste. Don't know if people press the eq button on it or not

Nice review but these two speakers are not in the same league! Not sure if anyone knows but you have to mess with the EQ settings on the motion plus to get optimum performance! The D10 is nice out pf the box but for quality and clarity the motion plus blows the D10 away
I own the d10, you can use it under heavy rain without any issues. I have submerged it in the river a few times without any issues after, not sure it's a great idea though.
I think the specs bear out that the motion boom plus has a lower frequency for bass. So I think you’ll be impressed by the motion boom plus. And I also think that you can pair of the two still through the app so you’ll be all set there.

I honestly don't plan on buying a Motion Boom Plus anytime soon, since I have a Tribit Stormbox Blast, and it is pretty awesome. I love the Soundcore Motion Boom, it's a great sounding, lightweight, smallish speaker, but I was looking at the D10 to fill a spot for something cheap, loud, and that I won't have to worry about dinging up when I take outdoors.

I have a w king d9-1 and a X10-1 ...... why does the d9 have way better bass? it literally shakes my room lol. yet x10 was suppose to be better. how disappointing today when i received it as an upgrade. Also Whats the most bass powered speaker for £99 or under? So far i have tired the w king d9-1 and one called dockin dfine. If you put either of these next to you on the couch you can feel it shake which is what I want more than deep sounding bass but more bass you can feel lol. Do you know if these are the best ones or if theres another even better? or maybe even if it has to be plugged in and its not portable as a last resort since they are normally cheaper?

Sooo Let’s see what has the most bass lol. You just told me about the tribit so I’ll have to get one of them too that is suppose to have monster bass so maybe I’ll get one of them. I’m gonna find the best bass speaker one day lol

But we recently changed to another factory, and they measure the battery with a bigger voltage, before they used 3.7v to meassure, now they use 7.2v, so the value of the number changed to 7800mAh but the playback time is the same. We made the package and the users manual according to the reports that the factory provided so that we can pass at the Custom. Thank you very much for the understanding“

I had to send my first boom plus back because of a pressure issue due to high heat pushing out the passive radiators.
And unlike the d10 the soundcore has a 9 band eq so you can find tune it to sound the way you want
