- Time was ticking; 15 minutes before Pam arrives, I sprinted through Red, White and Blue Thrift Store in Tampa! Hillsborough Ave's thrift haven held promise. I flipped through bags as fast as I could, my eyes hunting for that designer emblem. Then, amidst the ordinary, a gem-a barely used Dooney & Bourke. Snatching it just as Pam's silhouette appeared, I grinned. The thrifting crown was still mine!
