The height only changes in the off road mode. What you've done is essentially the same as putting it in sport mode, and changing to damping all the way down to comfort. Your bike will also remember if you do it that way too but its not going to change the height much. The offroad mode actually changes the rake. if you take off the way you have it set now, its going to automatically adjust back up in height just like the other road focused modes within a few minutes. Have a go and re-measure the bike after you ride it for a second.

That’s weird the settings I entered in the rider mode are the road mode settings not the sport mode.
When I change the damping in rider mode it changes the height for damping whoch shows 1/9 and can be checked after a ride and shows the same setting in the dash for damping as 1/9.
I will check again tomorrow but I am pretty sure as I can still touch the floor properly which I could not before.
(That said the bike is only a few weeks old so may be different to yours)

@@Munkybunky the only difference in the suspension between Road, Sport, and Rain, is the setting of the dampening. The off road mode is using a different set of suspension settings (different rake) that are not available for the Rider mode. what you've done would be the same as being in any of the road, sport, or rain modes and adjusting the dampening from there. The suspension stays in the low position when you put it into a road based mode after switching form the off road mode, but only briefly. after a few minutes of riding the suspension will be up high again. go for a spin an measure it and check out your results

Maybe I'm not understanding something, but if you want road mode with comfort settings, then why not just adjust the dampening all the way down in the road mode itself?

Good point for some people it does not remember the lowered setting where in rider mode it does

Great info but surely in comfort setting that low suspension will be too soft for road riding??
